  1. I'm no snob.
  2. He wasn't talking about a single comic issue. He was talking about Wolf-Man, a series, which I've read the whole first volume of. I didn't just stop mid-issue. Obviously reading half a comic, and half a film are the same thing. i.e bad, shouldn't do it. That's not what I was talking about. It's two different mediums that shouldn't be compared in the same manner (due to the different nature of how they tell stories), but if what you're talking about had happened, you'd be right. You just missed the point/didn't understand what we were on about.
  3. ReZ, just stop. Stop with this shit.
  4. I have no interest in ever seeing Slumdog Millionaire. I don't know why. Even when it came out I wasn't interested.
  5. I'll play! It may be hard while not at home, but I'll give it a BISH.
  6. My head is too fuzzy to take in that statement. I used to call myself a pacifist, but I'm not, I just couldn't think of the right word. I wore a white poppy on November 11 once and everyone said it was disrespectful. Which was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
  7. It's from a handheld camera...
  8. It's meant to show exactly how impressed I am by ReZ's ideas.
  9. U M fail. 111
  10. No. Comics are sequential art-form telling a story over a potentially indefinite time period. With your logic, people who stopped reading Uncanny X-Men after the first few issues in the 60's never got the full story as Uncanny X-Men is still going at 500+ issues. Theyre short bursts of story that are meant to hook you until next month/week when the next bit comes out. There's rarely ever the intention of a set ending at a set time etc. Sometimes there are (The Sword, Miniseries etc), but what I said still sticks - It's not cinema.

  12. I've never walked out of the cinema, nor would I ever, unless I had urgent business to attend to that just came up. It's so stupid. I generally don't go and see crap films though, so it's fine, and when I do (Wolverine), I know they'll be rubbish, but still plan on seeing them. (Or am forced to see them by family - Bratz, Make It Happen etc) Not seeing all a film and deciding it's shit makes no sense. It's like looking at half a painting then judging it. Your judgement may end up being right, but I don't believe it's entirely fair to the art itself.
  13. I don't have much of an interest in Winne The Pooh, but think it's nice that they're keeping the characters and franchise alive.
  14. -- I like playing Football, and watching Rugby. I was bored by X11 before I could get into it. Though I had a real urge to play Rugby the other day. Even though I haven't since I was 11.
  15. I'll leave my contribution at that.
  16. Hmm. I hope this isn't like the time I said Blade Runner changed my life. I'll watch it though.
  17. Fuck off with your hair problems, Daft!! Mine will always be the worst (male) hair I've ever come across. I have hair the consistency of dolls hair, that has no shape or form. It's neither curly nor straight. It's like a Barbie that a baby's played with with and matted the hair of. It looks like I'm wearing a wig when I try and "style" it after just washing it, when it's all fluffy. You have nice (looking) hair. I also personally prefer it longer in that photo. It makes more sense with your face.
  18. I have nothing, ladies.
  19. You've won. But I shan't review it, I'd rather others less entranced by the Newsom have their say.
  20. Jessica is one of my favourites. I might pick up for the first 2 or 3 cheap.
  21. Vote: No-one
  22. I might do then. I'm so dubious...is it ALL about the vampire/human love story? Cause that's not really the most interesting part of the show.
  23. I woke up too late to go/excuse. I forgot Chair was going and others here. Could have met up.
  24. All my grandparents are dead, so don't talk to many old people now. But when I do, the combination of the fact they're often strangers/distant relatives I've never met means I just have "that smile", and like EEVIL mentioned, say "yeah" really emphatically after everything they say. My grandma on my dad's side never went "elderly" mentally, she was as sharp as ever when she died.
