Anyway I wasn't saying Rap was the sole cause for Murders and what not, my point is how these rappers are proving a negative influence on young black men and how they live their lives. I mean look at the way they dress, look at the way they act it just reminds me of something from a 2pac video, Don't get me wrong I think he was great at what he did but at the end of the day you have these gangs going around ll over the place acting like their favourite rap star sometimes taking lives and what not. Long Statement cut short, SOME rappers have negative effects on youths, and you cannot deny this.... I'm not pin-pointing it on music or any specific thing I am pin pointing it on these rappers rapping about being shot 9 times and what not and gloryfyinng (Sp) guns.... And it isn't anti south or anything it's just this report I watched highlighted London very much... The rate of Gun Related murders is outstanding....Not in the good way either

I seen the argument in your thread, remembered the news I watched in the morning and seen the argument in the thread and posted what I heard on BBC Breakfast before I went to work. You don't have to go search on youtube and search video comps people have made with a rap background rapped by 2pac or something chatting on about guns and ho's etc etc etc. I'm not streotyping, I just posted what I read and posted what I thought. Heres my take on it, some of the music is good, I like SOME of Snoop Doggs work, Kanye West's early stuff was really good, can't say I'm a fan of his new song. 50Cent, Eminem, G-Unit etc etc etc are just really souless.
