  1. True decisions are at the ref's discretion but once a decision goes against United but Fergie with his obvious credentials does affect decisions majorly, which is a good thing in one respect but does Make United get off with alot of things, and nothing sets the Old Trafford faithful alight but a decision against them, no matter how blatant it is. Man Utd's Players have a history of being very violent towards referee's, which has often seen decisions being overthrown, right or wrong the violence shown sometimes over the years by United hasn't been one to admire.. And some ref's don't have the spine... I mean Mike Riley, How many times have we seen instances regarding him and Man Utd, Penalties in their favor, spot on penalties for opposite teams not given and dodgy sending offs.... Viera v Man Utd Sending Off Not right....03/04 Season Hyppia v Man Utd Sending Off....Deffo Pen No Sending Off 02/03 Rooney Pen v Arsenal....Dive and Penalty 04/05... Don't get me wrong I think the violent nature of Man Utd kind of came and went under Keane and they aren't a violent team such as stats show...Just below us in the fair play league... But Man Utd do get away with some really questionable decisions....More so than any other team....
  2. Asteriods scare the shit out of me...
  3. Rafa Benitez Raaafa Benitez La la la la Benitez La la la la Benitez Xabi Alonso Fernando and Reina Repeat....
  4. It's nothing biased it happens to all the top four clubs which Is a shame really... Old Trafford + Fergie + Controversial Red Card Against United = Uproar... Mike Riley Shit Out loads of times, Rob Styles did as well... But be honest if a Man Utd Player was Red Carded for that their would of been more fuss kicked up than Sand in a Desert Storm... Same for Liverpool Same for Chelsea Same for Arsenal Etc Etc
  5. No, Not at all, it's just it was a rash challenge Deffo Yellow Card but Video Evidence has nothing to do with giving somone a straight red unless you seen something that wasn't there... My Point is this wouldn't of happend to a Man Utd player at Reading...Or a Man Utd player there at that time... It was one of those challenges that looked worse in Slow Motion.... Imagine they should win the appeal....
  6. Niall Quinn has to be one of the only person in Football outside Liverpool I have 100% respect for.... He is a class act.....
  7. If that was at Reading but a Reading player was the victim the United player wouldn't be sent off...
  8. Erm...A Hard one... COD 3 Casper PS1

  10. How about the Prawn Sandwich Brigade....*Ducks for Cover*
  11. Some Major Knee Jerking on the forum here... Reading came out, had a plan, stuck to it, got a result simple as really United weren't good enough Poor Finishing from United It's Still Early Season Some People Need to Calm Ze Fuck down, United still have Tevez to come but having said that It has yet to be seen if United have a plan B against teams like Reading who will come and defend. United just looked out of options half the time. Still, 2 Points Dropped and as they said on Sky it's the kind of league where every point counts... The League isn't won or lost on the first day of the season it's still a long road ahead.... Reading too have aspirations but at the end of the day their are places in the league, Anfield, Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford, Emirates to name a few where any result is a good result...
  12. It's not contradicting at all I said the Facilities the Emirates offer is nice, but Everton for Away Fans is atrocious. I just dot see how for away fans Everton offers more when geographically it is only a few hundred yards away and it will is a shit hole... You do expect a place you can actually take a piss not a alley way with a wall...The Place has abit of soul but it is a whole whoever complied that report was surely lazy in terms of saying Everton offers more to the away fan than Liverpool :S.... (Excuse the rhyme). And i didn't mention anything about the Turnstiles at The Emirates... Nit-Picking.... ____________________ Oh well....Feck It..... The Heinze situation should be sorted on the 20th...Heres Hoping, We need him...Riise is not good enough IMO....
  13. I don't get how they can give Everton and Liverpool Different scores when they are in a few hundred yards of eachother...... Everton as a stadium is atrocious, they obviously haven't seen the poor seats, toilets, refreshments and the turnstiles, they have about 2 open for Away Fans... If you take a massive away following you miss the 1st half like I did last season...
  14. 3-2 Chelsea Essien... Good Strike... Their Keeper is gash Infact Got that wrong
  15. Whats the deal with Hadouken...Are they actually any good or just this Nu-Rave bollocks...?

  18. Not A Freekick, but I ain't complaining... Com'on Liverpool!
  19. Your Football Clubs Forums are your friend :P I hate it when it's like that staying up till the early hours for a 2 minute segment...Hence the reason I find the goals on Liverpool Forums Crap it is....
  20. Imagine it'll be first or 2nd solely for the last 10 minute action....
  21. Villa in my eyes where just lacking in the final third, it was very erratic movement without much thinking.... Gabby looked impressive and almost ripped our defence with his pace, Carew was not getting picked out much but his presence was causing abit of a problem. Overall I think it was 50/50 in terms of Our Defence being solid and Villa being wasteful, for the first 20-30 Minutes no one could string a few passes together... It's still early season yet but the win could mean more to us in the long run than Villa. We snatched victory from the claws of what would of been a fustrating draw with us missing chance after chance. If that was last season we would of probably gone on to lose but their is deffo a new resolve about us. That type of victory bleeds confidence into any side and especially with their being a bigger expectation this season for Liverpool the win will keep the fans and media happy, this was deffinatly a test for Liverpool and despite a few issues it's one Liverpool passed quite comfortably. I know I said it once before but I tell you something Babel is deffo one to watch this season, Hopefully he will start on left Wing v Chelsea with Gerrard and Mascherano in the centre and Pennant on the right. Torres still need's time but it will come in the games he plays, Hopefully Rafa sticks with him....
  22. Sometimes I think it's more of a London and North Divide not South... Some Southern Places are actually quite diverse, Pompey, Cornwall to name a few...
  23. Well if that was last season it would of been 1-1... Impressed with the way we srarted the game, lively first to most of the balls and a real hunger for goal. Torres Looked good, Sharp on the turn. Kuyt looked as impressive as ever, granted we spurned a few chanes but I think the win was fully deserved... Villa never posed a threat in the final third, Deffo Penalty but we kept going and Gerrard showed his class once more. Thing is it was always going to be a tough game 3 Points is a good return from last season and it was a performance and result which will bleed confidence into the side. We appear to have a new resolve about us. I don't think we'll win it or be the front runners at any point, but hopefully it wont be over by October, on this resilient performance I believe we have every confidence to be involved in the race for many a month. Roll On Chelsea... Pros Player Hunger impressive as ever, Torres looked good, Kuyt's work rate was impressive, Babel looked amazing when he came on... Cons Riise and Pennant aren't the answer on the wings (Kewell was injured), Alonso was pretty sloppy, failure to convert SOME chances.. Overall I am impressed and satisfied, Fully Deserved Victory IMO... Lol at all this Carragher criticism, worst thing he has done in over 3 years of Football and look at you lot.. Pathetic... 49,000 Capacity is the stadium of light.. Anyway Sunderland looked impressive, Keano is still a **** mind....
  24. If you look towards the upper tier of the end Spurs are shooting it is virtually empty, it would be as bad if this wasn't the first game of the season when they are promoted and need all the support they can get. It's very rarely down to money it's down to lack of fans and lazyness... Just don't understand why their continously seems to be empty seats in games like these around the country, Wigan (Mind you it is a rugby town), Fulham, to name a few....And you can't exactly say Fulham is the most poor part of the country can you... I would of killed to be at a game like that....
