  1. Will it? Granted, I have no idea how difficult it is to code/include the option. But it's "just" two more buttons to account for. Make the game recognize the controller and bam, there's either back buttons or not.
  2. Never had that experience, to be honest. With any controller that has L3/R3 inputs. I just want back buttons to be used independently of all the other buttons. I've had one controller with those and you could only map existing inputs to them. Not sure if it's a hardware or software thing, though.
  3. Detailed info on DualSense Edge My favs: Back buttons truly are a game-changer. Can't wait to finally have them on a dedicated PS5 controller. My CoD:MWII layout will probably be: Right back button for crouching/sliding, left back button either for jumping or tactical grenades. I do wonder, though, if it's going to be the usual "mimicking of existing buttons/inputs" or if games can actually utilize the buttons for independent inputs. I hope it's the latter. On-controller user interface will come in handy. I always struggle with my mates in party chat who can be extremely loud at times Right now, balancing their volume is a bit of a hassle and not viable during intense gaming moments. Hope you can adjust stick sensitivity and dead zones for each stick individually. Proper exited for the new controller I estimated a 150€ price, but since yesterday's news I'll guess it'll be a lot more...
  4. Stupid @Happenstance came up with the idea, so here it is. I'm gonna watch some classic movies from the 80s and 90s (or from a different era) and post my not so eloquent thoughts on them. Gonna need a few recommendations eventually, but the first movie is going to be: Back to the Future I may have watched it or parts of it when I was a kid, but I can't remember much - if any - of it. So I'm pretty much going in blind, which is not a great thing for a movie if you take it literally. Have a short day at work ahead of me, so I might actually give it a watch early afternoon
  5. DO IT. They're corny, cheesy, weird but they make damn good music. I can live with that rephrasing
  6. To quote Muse from their upcoming new album Will of the People: Song is called We are fucking fucked, in case you wanna give it a listen tomorrow Given that this decision most likely came from higher ups at Sony, I doubt a different leadership would've changed anything. Yes, Jim Ryan sucks but I'm pretty sure this is not his fault.
  7. Yeah, no surprises there. They have a sheer unlimited amount of money to throw around as we've seen so they don't need to increase the price. Also: Xbox is only an entry point for GamePass. The will eventually just raise the price of the sub.
  8. Yeah, that's out of my price range Thanks for the info. Not going to record much. I just wanna use it to get to practicing again.
  9. Might have some disposable income next month so I'm trying to get back to playing the guitar. My amps fucked and a few months ago someone recommended I get a sound interface. Sadly I'm not in touch with that person anymore So here's my question: If I were to acquire something like this (sorry, it's in German), would I be able to simply connect my guitar to it, connect the interface to my PC, play horribly and listen to it from the speakers connected to my PC? And by that I mean, listen to it as I'm playing, without any lag? Or are sound interfaces just for recording?
  10. Same in Germany. Stock becomes available regularly but sells out quickly, too.
  11. Yup, it's not something you can/should look at in a vacuum, as you said. Surely they had their reasons and it does make sense given the economic situation, but part of me also thinks that they could've lived just fine without increasing the RRP. They gonna get a huge shitstorm either way. This time, they probably won't revert the decision, though. We'll see in the coming months whether it'll backfire when it comes to sales numbers. I'm very curious.
  12. Yikes. Fuck off. PsBlog Edit: @Julius FUCK OFF
  13. Oh Flinky, you innocent little child. You should play all of them. And you will love them.
  14. Yes. Watched the first three with my dad. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is probably my favourite
  15. Deku Deals
  16. That's a good idea. Not in the mood for a movie right now, though I'll think of something in the coming days.
  17. FIX THIS RIGHT NOW. Turn off your PS4 and...no wait, turn on your PS4 and play it.
  18. Very disappointed
  19. Whoohooo, we're talking about movies. Oh...80s and 90s movies... YOU'RE OLD I always want to watch those huge movies from that time but I never get around to it. Never seen the likes of Top Gun, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future. Maybe as a wee lad, but I can't remember.
  20. The steady decline in activity over the years has other reasons, sure. But I know for a fact that right now the forum sees less activity from some regulars (me included) because of the stuff we see here.
  21. Ah, so that's possible, too. Works just fine there as well. Only without the fancy prompt dialogue, of course. It Just asks for the input in the terminal (Your weight and then Your height). Interesting. It's a good thing then, that I tried it on both platforms. Thanks for the help
  22. The objective is the "Code Project" of the "Control Flow" section of the Python course. Learned about boolean logic, if and else statements and loops. It's just a little exercise to put what I've learned into practice. I use "Run Selection/Line in Interactive Window" to run the code. It lets me input the necessary values and outputs the result. It works completely fine there. An input window opens up with "Your weight" and after that another one with "Your height". Once the inputs are down it prints the BMI (normal, underweight, etc). I'd say, my code is fine (spoken like a true coder, I assume? ) but somehow the Sololearn terminal does something weird?
  23. I don't know how to answer that Yeah, I wonder why, though. As I mentioned in my edit above, when I remove the strings, it works fine.
