It's him provoking. And quite frankly, I can't believe he gets away with it over and over again. Anyway, looking for a nice co-op game to play with my girlfriend (she doesn't really play video game except Mario Kart Wii twice a year). Affordable Space Adventures is on my list. Is it a game for noobs, @dazzybee? What I mean: Could my girlfriend get to grips with it easily?

Alright. I've watched 3 episodes of the first Season about a year ago. Didn't really click with me. Earlier this year I gave it another chance, watched the first Season in 3 days and somehow it clicked and I loved it. Bought the 5 books (and finished the first one just now) and borrowed Season two on Bluray from a mate. How to proceed now? What I'm thinking: Watch an episode and read the corresponding chapters of the second book afterwards. Could do it the other way around but then I wouldn't know where to stop reading... Oooooor: read the whole book and then watch the episodes or vice versa. Think I'll go with one episode + corresponding chapters. : peace:

Not sure as I'm still very early with Chalice Dungeons, but you can check reddit for a list of Chalice Glyphs which create dungeons that include a lot of items/gear. Edit: Beat two bosses from (I assume) optional areas : peace: Haven't fully explored them, yet, though. However, the Chalice Dungeons take up most of my playtime. Finished a couple of the "storyline dungeons" and I think I'm close to getting that one item which makes Chalice Co-op/Invasions easier.

And that makes it ok?

Aprox. two hours ago I posted the following in the Wii U BoIR thread:

It is I'm only missing ONE item to get the Platinum trophy. But this might take a loooong time Spent possibly 70-80 hours with this game and in a couple of months the announced expansion Afterbirth gets a release. : peace:

Not sure, even though I've upgraded Arcane to 10 I haven't paid attention to what exactly changes. If Item Discovery increases with points spent into Arcane, then yes, it helps. However, I don't know how useful Item Discovery is. I'll check when I have enough Echoes to level up (if you check it yourself, feel free to tell me :p) Edit: Yes, levelling up Arcane increases Item Discovery. Oh yes, he was right. Rom is a dick. But with enough patience he's actually quite easy. Now that he's dead I fear that the game has become a lot more difficult

Not yet, "only" upgrade materials, gem stones and some stuff for Chalice Dungeon rituals. These are my assumptions: Bloodtinge increases damage you deal with Quick Silver bullets, i.e. guns. Arcane increases Arcane damage (duh). Won't say any more to avoid spoilers. They are both also used to equip weapons with the corresponding requirements. Same goes for Skill. Not sure if it does anything else besides that. Also: There are weapon scalings for the stats. E.g.: Strength - C; Skill - D; Bloodtinge - E...etc. S is best (I assume, haven't seen this one yet in Bloodborne. It has been the best in the other Souls games), E is worst. The better the letter, the better the scaling obviously. Meaning: Strength - A results in higher physical damage the more strength you have.

Ah I see. I suppose it was Steam Train. I don't watch that I only watch Dan and Arin episodes.

There's little talk of Chalice Dungeons here. Am I the only one doing them? Haven't done a lot, but I found the second "type" of chalice and hopefully I'll soon get that one item that's supposed to make setting up chalice runs with others easier. Still haven't created a random dungeon, only done rituals for the so called "story-line" ones. Even though I probably only have seen 10% of the dungeon layouts/rooms/enemies/etc I sure hope that future DLCs add more : peace:

Glad to hear it's already in a good shape. Personally I'm still not interested, but it does look pretty.

Northernlion all the way. Of course it will spoil things, but to understand a little bit of Rebirth this first episode is not bad.

Speaking of terrifying. I just completed the first layer of a new Chalice Dungeon I created... First 3 minutes: Two jump scares...I screamed like a little bitch A minute later: An enemy I've never seen before came out of nowhere and I kid you not: I was in panic. No video game has ever brought me into a state of panic...I mashed R1 in the hopes of kiling it while it was letting out horrifying shrieks that made my heart race in despair. I managed to kill this thing... 2 minutes later: Another one of those monsters awaited me in a different room...it noticed my presence and I heard that shriek again. Panic ensued for the second time. Accidentally switched weapons, had to deal with my fear and the resulting ineptitude and simply wailed on this fucking thing. I survived. But not sure if I'll be able to sleep tonight This game...

Our effort looked more like that, too. But with more cheese and more onions : peace: It was tasty as hell. And those steaks...I think I've done a good job. Medium and seasoned very well.

I get what you're saying and I could respond to most of this, but to be honest I don't really want to. This isn't about you, though. It's just that I don't want to get attacked again by some people. That's why I'll leave it at that and simply live with the fact that I've moved on from Nintendo.
-
I know, I know. :p Well, my gilfriend is back at her place so it's time for me to get back to Bloodborne. : peace:
-
Well, Pixas are successful with what they do. So... :p I'm looking for story focussed games somewhere else, that's why I have a PS4 and will soon sell my Wii U to finance an Xbox One. Still, I'd love to see Nintendo try and do another Metroid with a little bit more focus on story. But I'll stop here. I don't want people chasing me with pitchforks and torches just because I say something slightly negative about Nintendo.
-
Will probably buy it just to play @RedShell's (possibly) awesome creations.
-
Again - as has been said many, many times - it's not a point of either or. Nintendo has the capability to create awesome games. So why not use it to create something like @Fierce_LiNk mentioned and still make the annual Mario games, etc.
-
NO! Bad people! :p Grinding to level up is not the point. To buy weapons/equipment and maybe upgrade gear...that's reasonable. But leveling up Vitality so you can just tank or levelling up Strength to destroy a boss is definitely not the point of Bloodborne. Not implying that you do that and I don't want to sound condescending but making the game easy via farming to level up destroys the fun. At least for me.
-
Duuuuud. You can't say that. Anyway, no comments about The Binding of Isaac? One of the best indie games in recent years coming to Wii U and nobody cares? Shame on you.
-
Nothing we can really tell you. You should try to get/buy every weapon there is and figure out which one you like most. Don't worry about upgrading, you'll get more than enough materials to upgrade pretty much everything (at least halfway through the upgrades). This is what Bloodborne (or the Souls games) is (are) about. The satisfaction you get when you find a shortcut, defeat a boss, loot an amazing item/weapon, realize that a different weapon is more your style, ...basically everything you do is important and has a purpose. I love it : peace:

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth coming to Wii U and New 3DS. Not to the regular 3DS. No release date has been announced, yet. Eurogamer People should get it, it's fucking amazing : peace: Also: [tweet]583381586168582144[/tweet] Good job on getting rid of Dan, Nintendo.
