Yoshi looks great. Kirby I'm not interested in. Metroid Prime 4 is obviously great but probably far faaaar away. Odyssey looks bloody brilliant. Good show. But nothing incredible.

While that announcement is obviously awesome, "Now in development" doesn't fill me with confidence we'll see it anytime before Christmas 2019...

Yeah, especially after Sony said numerous times that we'd see lots and lots of games from Japanese devs. That was the only disappointing aspect of the conference for me. Maybe we'll see more in the next few days.

Yup. I don't think they'll get cocky. If they have similar showings for Gamescom, TGS and PlayStation Experience...I'll stand corrected then Indeed. I stand by what I said last night: Unless you're going PC, PS4+Switch will be the best way to play in the next few years. Nintendo could knock it out of the park later today and I really hope they do. I want those sweet Nintendo IPs and more new IPs

After thinking about it some more: Good conference. They played it safe but it works because they are in such a great position. Still, should've announced at least one big new game... I wonder how Sony will approach Gamescom and their own PlayStation Experience now. Play it safe again? Not sure if they can afford that for three big showings in a year. And I highly doubt they're stupid enough to do that

Yup. Not sure what I think of "Early 2018", though. We'll have enough games this year already so it's not a big deal, but I want it now Edit: A solid conference. Actually a great conference. No spectacular announcements but it was good. Sony didn't need to do more. They are in a great position with lots of awesome games coming this year and many more on standby for 2018. Would've loved to see at least one incredible announcement, but you can't always get what you want. PlayStation Exprience in December will provide us with even more. Can't wait. The press and some people on here will shit on the Showcase, though. Now it's time for Nintendo to bring the magic to their new device. I think in the coming years (unless you go for PC) PS4+Switch will be the way to go.
