Along with Martial, Januzai and Lingard . Even though I hate United, I'll be sad to see Juan Mata leave. One of the good guys of the Premier League.

Oh so in..!

I'm a big fan of the new idea. Think it will definitely help with attendances and fixture congestion. Plus it means York will have a better chance of actually staying in the football league Heard a bit of talk about the bigger Premier League clubs potentially having "B sides". That I'm 100% against. Horrible idea. As for Celtic and Rangers, I don't see why not. We have Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham, so it would only be fair to include Rangers, Celtic and maybe the Edinburgh clubs. Scottish football is pretty much dead anyway. They'll certainly never reach any sort of European success with the way the Scottish league is at the moment. No harm in trying. Creating a 2 week winter break would also be welcome in my book.

Not just yours. I had the worst GP of my life. Last twice and constantly hit 2, 3 even 4 times in a row. At least it will make hilarious highlight material. Good night all round though, another great theme, thanks!

I am speechless, what a great race! Kudos to Verstappen!

So I picked this up today and I'm only about an hour in. My only comment thus far is that I just do not get the hate for the controls, at all. I think they are very intuitive. Sure, at first it's a lot to take in and my brain felt a bit mashed a couple of times, but there's so much more to see, do and target than when just using the analogue stick and buttons. Really impressed so far and I think they really add to the experience. Can see myself sinking the time in to get all the medals and go for really high scores.

Think I was the only one who must have seen that 200cc was chosen instead of mirror mode and was mentally prepared at the start of the first race Really great theme this week and finally got my first GP win!

I'm in this week!

Can save it for the N-e show if the powers that be so wish. Not sure about the expiry date on it though. @Dcubed @Kaepora_Gaebora

If anyone's not interested in the bundle I've now got a spare Shantae code for WiiU, willing to give it away for free to anyone who wants it. PM me for details.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Nicktendo replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Can't fault that logic, especially after the success of Nindies@home last year. Can see them making the majority of games playable... to everyone. Except Zelda, obviously. Would definitely be a good way to approach E3. -
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

Strange how they divided opinion so much, though I do remember that horrible E3 press conference when they didn't work for Shigsy . If they do rework the controls, I hope they give us the choice at least to play it with motion plus. -
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

See, I don't get this. I thought the controls were incredible in SS. It was the game which finally showcased what the Wii remote could do without just resorting to waggle. They took a while to learn of course, but once mastered I for one didn't want to go back. The final boss showdown in particular was amazing, mainly thanks to the controls. Reworking the entire game for button controls would be a lengthy process and would, in my opinion, negetively impact the experience. I definitely agree about padding though. If they could streamline it, like they did with WW, it would be great. They'd also have to remove at least one of the fights with The Imprisioned as there was too much of that nonsence. I still think in Zelda U we'll see some degree of motion control. At least as much as in the WW and TP remakes. -
About this weekend's fixtures, I really hope that Leicester don't win the title as a result of Spurs losing to Chelsea. What I mean here is if Leicester draw or lose to United and then Spurs don't do enough against Chelsea to keep the title race going we won't see the reaction of the Leicester players and Ranieri on the pitch. That would be a huge shame after everything we've all been through. I want to see the emotion of them finally having 'done it' live. That is, of course, IF they do it

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Nicktendo replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I agree with DCubed here. We have had an unprecedented number of new Zelda titles in the past 6 years. The remakes have all been the definitive versions of their respective games and it has been a pleasure to replay them all. Hyrule Warriors scratched the Zelda itch I didn't even know I had and the two new games on 3DS also provided a few hours of fun. At least we know that a 6 year develoment cycle will make Zelda Wii U the Best Zelda Ever™. I do think we'll see Skyward Sword HD before Zelda Wii U, then they would've re-released their whole back catalogue in the run up to the new one. Of all the HD remasters, that would be the one I'm most looking forward too, a criminally underrated and underappreciated game. My WiiMotion+ controller and body are ready. -
Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing Heading To Mobile
Nicktendo replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
More Fire Emblem love is excellent news. And Animal Crossing for mobile is a match made in heaven. Looks promising. -
No NX at E3? I am disappoint... Saying that though I still have heaps of titles on 3DS and Wii U to keep me playing deep into next year so I'm not TOO bothered by this news.

Everything is fine, thanks guys! They've turned the water off in our building and I've had a Russian lesson I'll never forget! All in all a successful night, just a bit less motion control than I would've wanted on a Thursday
-
Really sorry I didn't show up tonight, hope you didn't wait too long for me. A pipe's burst above my flat and there's water everywhere. Was really looking forward to this theme as well. Oh well, see you guys in 3 weeks, will be out for the next two.

So what does everyone think after the first three races? Glad the qualifying saga is behind us and we can (maybe) concentrate on the racing. We've had three cracking races so far and hopefully Sochi will serve up another good one. Rosberg has been MEGA, while Hamilton has just been plain unlucky but will come back strong, I'm sure. I still think this will be a mightily close season, especially with Ferrari and even Red Bull not too far behind. Love how mixed up the midfield is this year, and the Haas story is one of the best we've had in years. Can see Kvyat being dumped in favour of Verstappen mid-season if he doesn't become more consistent (China was a good showing), which would really spice up the battles at the front. Slightly off topic but has anyone been watching Formula E? Really been enjoying the series since its inception and like how it offers something completely different to F1 but still has good drivers and close racing. Next race is this weekend, give it a chance if you haven't yet, you might be pleasently surprised.

Going back to the UK next week for a holiday so I'm going to let the dust settle before I go out and buy it. Looking forward to hearing all of your opinions on it, particularly Dcubed's review. Been playing the 3DS version in anticipation and it's still such a great game.

NEShow Special Episode 2 - Zelda | Zelda | Zelda
Nicktendo replied to Ashley's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Another solid episode. Some great skits this week during an admitedly slow news week. Bravo, 10 on 10. -
Come on guys, can we not just stop this all now, or at least take it to PM?

That was me who was green shelled then blue shelled on Wario Stadium at the end of the video
