  1. A copper who may have racist beliefs isnt nessiceraly going to go all KKK and kick the shit out of every black man on the street.

A copper who has racist beliefs shouldn't be a copper. Simple. You can't just argue against that point. Whether he's white, black, Asian, whatever. Better screening is needed to detect people who hold internally racial prejudices.

On another note, Nick Griffin is a big, fat, stupid cunt and if I ever meet him I'd whack him across the chops as hard as I could, and this is coming from someone who despises violence. But he just makes me THAT angry.

If any of you know Mark Collett (search 'Nazi Boy Russell Brand' on Youtube), he used to come into my work all the time and hit on my ex-girlfirend. When she told him she was a feminist he told her she was stupid and that women belong in the kitchen. Fucking prick. Watch the youtube videos to see just the type of stupid little tossers the BNP are.

  2. Thou bastard. Which one, near Temple Newsam (or relatively close to it), or Bramley?

Yeah the one near Temple Newsam. They may have re-stocked tomorrow as they get a massive electronics delivery on Saturday nights according to my buddy who works there. Or they may have some loitering in the back due to 'abysmal sales.'

  3. Yup (which reminds me that I have to replay OoT)

I'm going through it now, up to Jabu Jabu. Such a great game, still after all these years :)

I want to finish it before I start Majora's Mask and I feel privilaged to have only completed 100%, once, nearly 10 years ago, after its original release. I haven't touched it since then and I can't wait to play through, in my opinion, the greatest videogame ever made for the second time.

  4. Well my tight-fisted-ness worked in my favour :) picked this up from Tesco for only £19.87! So if you haven't picked it up... Why are you still here?! Get to your nearest store and see if they have it. I got the last copy in the Leeds store along with Punch-out for £38.74 (I had a £10 voucher) So, I'm incredibly pleased. :D

Now I have to wait until I go home on Wednesday to actually play it though. But I can't wait the stuff I've been reading on here is preparing me for a 40+ hour epic!

  5. Yep, my copy has been dispatched from Play as well. Although I'm yet to play it, after seeing lots of reviews and hearing a host of positive things, I'm really looking forward to playing it. I recommend people pick this up, especially at such a good price! Hopefully it'll turn up tomorrow or Saturday and I'll sit through it this weekend. :geek:

  6. Now the reason they took out MP3 support was probably because they didn't want to pay royalties.

The Wii, as a console doesn't support MP3's anymore (Photo channel). The feature was removed because the Wii supports Apple's AAC format instead. I think this has something to do with the removal and also why Excitetruck (the disc) still supports MP3's. How many people have AAC formatted files on a memory stick or SD Card. My guess is it was removed to avoid confusion, yet this is contradicted by the Photo Channel. Nintendo are wierd.

  7. I have a 32" because anything under that doesn't really compliment HD. The Wii looks pretty poor on it to be honest but Cel shaded games look amazing, the coulours are incredible when compared to an CRT. I would say that if you want an LCD get 26" or less but the benefit of HD (if you actually watch any) won't be as pronounced. If you're wanting 37 + Definatly get a plasma because the Wii through componant looks AMAZING on any size screen, just be careful about screen burn. If it's a 32" then I'd go with LCD but it's at 32 inches that the Wii starts to look really, really jaggy. It's a tough choice where you will have to sacrifice something (HD quality, Wii Quality or your money).

  8. One of the reasons why I lurk around here , even if I don't post much , as I tend to value the opinions of those here more than I do of most reviewers.

It's simple really: If Hero-of-Time likes it, you know it's a good game. I've gone for games in the past due to his advice and will be going for more when I get some cash (Swords & Soldiers, Little Kings story & Order up!) I also think it's great to see most people on here owning games like de Blob and Boom Blox that had poor exposure and maybe didn't sell great but are truly awesome games that no-one who enjoys gaming should miss out on.

  9. Here's my dazzling collection...

    US Games

    Animal Crossing: City Folk

    Boom Blox

    Godfather

    Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess

    Manhunt 2

    Metroid Prime 3

    No More Heroes

    Okami

    Red Steel

    Resi Evil 4

    Super Mario Galaxy

    Smash Bros Brawl

    Trauma Center New Blood

    Wii Sports

    Zack and Wiki

    UK games

    Bully

    De Blob

    Dewy's Adventure

    Disaster DoC

    House of the Dead Overkill

    MadWorld

    Mario Kart Wii

    PES 2009

    Wii Fit

    Wii Gay.

Not a bad collection to be honest there's still a few I'm after and heaps of games newly released on the horizen that have my attention. Only owing a Wii makes it much easier to dedicate all my gaming time and gaming funds towards it as opposed to just getting a few great games between 360/PS3 ones. I have a decent collection of 25+ VC games which are all on my US wii (RELEASE MAJORA'S MASK DAMMIT!) and 5 WiiWare games: Strong Bad 1, Lost Winds, World of Goo, Onslaught and Bit.Trip Beat. Sit all of this alongside my N64 and Gamecube and they just gather dust. I'm after a DS Lite next purely for pokemon and GTA.

  10. This game is starting to look like all kinds of win. After strongly being in the omg wtf camp after it was revealed and then ignoring it, I now want this game. I blame Cassamssina and Bozon for plugging it every single week on the podcast and some of the videos, especially the training one have me sold. Ooh and the music is awesome.

I'll be buying for sure, but the thing is where do I fit it in between Little King's Story, Kororinpa 2, Excitebots and Klanoa. :( 2009 is shaping up to be the best Nintendo gaming year since the 2nd year of Gamecube and we haven't even had a major first party announcment yet.

  11. I just don't think "bots" are saleable- a really, really poor choice of vehicle in my opinion. They're just silly and unappealing IMO.

Its actually typical of Nintendo, at times they're so desperate to be different, they make really stupid choices.

We all wanted Excite Truck 2 or Excitebike Wii- but wait, its been done by Sony, so just to be different Nintendo slap in some crazy "bots" and screw yet another loved franchise.

While I think the 'bots' element is lets face it, pretty gay. It seems that alot of the praise coming out of America is directed towards the little critters, especially the personality they seem to posess. I for one am sure it will provide an intersting gameplay dynamic and I strongly believe that "Excitebots" will have the ability to sell more than excitebike 2 or excitetruck 2 simply because of the heightened casual appeal. Sure it's not what purists may have wanted but after hearing so much praise about the gameplay and depth, I don't care what I'm racing in as long as it provides a good experience that takes the excite truck formula and expands on it. Plus in a wierd way it's like Stunt Racer FX Deluxe Wii edition, and that's just purely cool.

  12. This game struggled to sell in US....

Can't believe this still hasn't got a release date. But it's probably for the best with all the games that I need to play through (including Excite Trucks)

If there's no news in the next couple of months I'm just going to import it, I think. I hope this doesn't follow the same trend as Disaster DoC. Would be a shame but I wouldn't put it past Nintendo.

  13. cant you watch it on the red button later? I'm not sure on that, but I think you can.

I know you definatly can on Sky but I'm not sure about freeview. If not try the BBC iPlayer or the BBC F1 website.

Good session today, was a bit gutted Vettel didn't get pole and glad to see the midfield a bit mixed up. If Massa is light he could lead come turn one with his KERS boost off the line, should be a good race.
