i'm just gonna try and watch a stream, but if that fails I'll just wait for IGN to up load the vids! Also alot of websites are doing transcripts, gamesindustry.biz is doing a minute by minute transcript.

on gamesradar and jeux-france they have the game as announced for the "next generation" of consoles, their is no specific consoles named so that would suggest its coming to Wii, as Wii is a next gen/new gen machine, so until they actually name consoles it could happen. Its not out til 2007 so they could be hedging their bets and seeing how the Wii does sales wise before commiting.

nibris haven't said anything about them, they are just screen caps from a trailer for the game. They are live action so not ingame shots, they could be from FMV's in the game but nothing else.

I'd say summer is sort of june to the end of august ish But with the brain training europe game box having a DS lite on it I'd say its gonna be around then, which is what? june 9th?

the one thing that still puzzles me is why hold back the name? Reggie said because it would give away the last secret of the rev, but what info can you get from Wii? I'm pretty sure sony isn't sat in their office thinking "Now we have the last secret HAHAHAHAHAH!".

their are many different ways to use it, if you want the analogue stick for steering then maybe they could use the FHC and nunchuck. Nunchuck used for steering, shoulder buttons for handbrake/looking behind, FHC - A for accelerate, B for brake and use the movement of the FHC to look left and right like in PGR but for a more natural movement, just an idea.

should make fight night 3 possible without having to have 2 FHC. EDIT: Actually fight night 3 would be sweet on Wii, using the controllers to punch and then duck and weave out of the way of punches just by moving back and around:) I want it NOW!

we don't know for sure with both games in 16:9 with progressive scan it might be a TRC requirement, the EA guy probably has never seen the list anyway so he might just not know, the only way to find out would be if someone testing Wii games confirmed it or Iwata confirms it which he might be at E3, or he might have said it already I can't remember?! anyone?

TRC(I forget what it stands for) is a check list of stuff that all console companies have, that developers must include in the software, for example memory card messages, or when a controller is removed the game pauses and displays a message etc, the TRC is checked during testing and if nintendo etc find a problem they won't allow it to be published. It sounds like 16:9 isn't a required thing by nintendo so basically it is an optional extra that developers can support if they want to, but they don't have to, a bit like the progressive scan support in the GC, some had it some didn't.

you don't have to use it like a steering wheel either, just thought for burnout just hold it normal use B for acelerator and A for brake and you could sort of flick the bottom of the controller to get the tail of the car to drift, only problem would be boost, but add the nunchuck and thats sorted. Not great ideas but my point is their are lots of great different things you can do.

well from what the EA guy said it doesn't sound like nintendo have put it in their TRC requirements.

The nunchuck controller attachment name came from nintendo themselves at the TGS speech when they announced the wiimote.
