  1. Thats a good point persons with one arm or a broken arm or arm or hand problems could easily play this with one hand/arm, theirs got to be quite a large demand for that kind of thing. Also means that you could eat and drink and play games at the same time. :lmao:
  2. its very easy to dismiss it until you see the vid of it potentially in action and then it just looks mega sweet:)
  3. I think nintendo have cracked it, the "swiss army knife" of controllers the possibilities are endless, could put it into a football shell and kick it around the room, or an american football and throw passes, or could put it in a ball and roll monkeys in balls around the front room, or ninja gaiden and plug it into a big sword, 1080 put it into a snowboard to stand on to play, put into a little model car to play burnout or use the stick and gun to drive and shoot in true crime oh the possibilties I WANT IT NOW!
  4. maybe they are playing with us and the release will be sooner to surprise?! who knows?
  5. I think that with the range of prices and things on offer from the three that their could be a good evenish spread for all three consoles, with nintendo slightly increasing its current market share but with opening up new age groups to gaming therefore making its share about even with the other two. The biggest thing for me will be release dates, with the 360 this christmas, PS3 maybe summer 2006 after E3, when will the rev be released? on the revo-europe main page Jim Merrick says he'll be disappointed if you can't play it a E3 2006, but where would that leave a release date, europe christmas 2006 if we're lucky? a year behind 360 and 6 months ish maybe behind PS3 that will be the problem, giving 360 too much of a head start.
  6. its basically a light gun at the end isn't it? to detect where your pointing.
  7. their was a rumor ages ago that it was gonna happen but it didn't sorry, its just an old article the date on the bottom of the news item is April 28, 2003, so just old, don't worry matt28781 ask any questions you like! Just ignore angry persons!
  8. the same kind of thing happened with the DS, before software was seen and before you got your hands on it, it looks strange and you can't see the point, but once the software started coming out and people got hold of it, you get infected by the ability to control stuff ingame by touching it, its just not quite the same with a d-pad and buttons, the game changing according to your direction actions makes you feel a connection with it, makes you feel part of it and this is what the rev taps into. I think thats why dance mats, the eye toy, the konga's etc work well and sell well because of having something directly related to the game to control it with, hopefully rev will provide this connection between console and tv for all its games. Sorry about the ramble, what do other people think?
  9. theirs loads of ideas IGN have a section on it and they come up with some good ideas relating to a number of current games, they suggested pikmin would work well flicking the pikmin at a beastie etc or placing the controller horizontal like a steering wheel for mario kart, that would be class, I like the idea of sword fighting from the conference vid, light sabers anyone? its a great idea but one you have to see working before you can understand it, needs lots of adverts! when it arrives.
  10. i'm wondering whether the rev will have the ability to receive wavebird signals without having to insert the receiver into the gamecube ports? cause the receiver sticking out the top of the rev would look a bit rubbish.
  11. Have you watched the example vid from the conference that put my WTF's to rest.
  12. Maybe they will wait for next month or later so they get in the mags for october, november and december to really spoil the 360's christmas!
