Well, Samurai Champloo can be a bit slow-paced at times with a high production value. It has nothing that really grabs you, and it's pretty much one of those animes that you just watch, move onto the next, and don't really have much to say about it a month later.

The problem is, switching to them quickly when concentrating on firing missiles can be hard. Any good tips to always evade missile lock ons the natural way?

Family Guy just focuses on delivering gags relating to real life really. Some of the execution is brilliant. When I'm watching comedy cartoons the story never really bothers me, in fact real life piss takes (Tom Cruise in South Park for instance) seem to make me smile the most.

I only started watching it last week, about 40 episodes through right now. I think Hisoka's character is quite good. It makes me think Kefka from Final Fantasy VI would have acted like him...which is odd because I never really liked Kefka that much (gasp). :p

I would be embarassed to read it on a train. It is pretty much at a children's level, even if many adults have read it.

I have to agree with someone further up, far too many black comedians use routines that pretty much focus on the fact they're black. It's rather annoying because if they had been born white they'd be screwed.

Then it would be a lot better.

People should try out Hunter × Hunter if they haven't already. It's really good even if it appears a little old. If you're the kind of person who likes One Piece or fantasy mixed with fighting and adventure, you'll like this.

I got this today. Fantastic multiplayer, much better than Halo 3 online (which I have played a fair bit of). One thing though - driving the planes seems absolutely mental. I got over 'swirling around aimlessly' once I realised that you are just meant to only move the sticks if you plan to go up or down...still really hard though. I managed to work out how to evade missiles though...right stick. But yeh, I'd like to play some people here, even though I'm a bit crap. Anyone up for a game?

King of the Hill and Beavis and Butthead are really bad shows. Awful, awful stuff that I can't force myself to watch. Beavis and Butthead actually makes me cringe.

You say this, but as a contradictory example out of the current 3 consoles only the PS3 is mainly region free, at least with the games (while I realise you are referring to video media you are also stating Sony as a whole are trying to remove import markets, so I think that's a pretty valid counter-comment). Region locking is nothing new, and yes it is of course to stop people getting them cheap imported. That's what businesses want to do, to make money. The pound gets you practically 2 dollars, so you could easily get them cheaper from USA, so they're bound to want to lock some stuff. Great tactic to boost the popularity of the PS3 though.

You misunderstood what I was saying. Someone said you could do it to make HD-DVDs from BDs too, so I said that I didn't see that keeping HD-DVD alive. :p

You're kidding? Considering RARE made most of the good games on the N64 no doubt they would have stuck to the same formula and would've made more quality games. Unless something else would have inevitably broken them up to the point of no return anyway. All bog standard games in my opinion; definitely not something to write home about. Except maybe Viva Pinata by the sounds of it, but I've never played it.

You know, BDs will only become cheaper. IMO, HD-DVDs will completely phase out of existence, gradually. What, from the non-existant Transformers BD? :p I see what you mean, but what with 0.00001% of customers ever having the effort to do that I hardly see it spelling a burst of life for HD-DVD.

Nice one...I've got a 32" Toshiba HDTV but felt like I wanted a new PC monitor since PC on HDTV never looks quite right to me. I got a Samsung 22" widescreen for £214 I think from Comet, since I had a £500 gift card from Christmas. What can I say, it's so bright and 3000:1 contrast ratio and 2ms response time! What a bargain.

What a travesty the loss of RARE was. Never have I seen a company go from in their element to absolute **** so quickly. I mean, they were making nearly everything absolutely astounding on the N64! Ok maybe not near everything, but a significant proportion indeed. Then on the 360...Perfect Dark Zero...that conker remake...Cameo... ;-( If they'd stayed with Nintendo...maybe new Banjo Kazooie games, a Goldeneye sequel, a better PD. For some reason I felt like they were forced to change their image when they switched, or something was broken up. I remember on the N64 they sometimes used to put eyes on top of inanimate objects which is just an example of their style. What a waste

Hmm...sounds like another feature that would be completely unused by 99.9% of people with a PS3. I can't really see the point...

Eat anything green. Unless it's stuff that wasn't green when you first bought it. Failing that, tweak the scales!

I use the Official Playstation Forums quite a bit and that became home to a topic where people were complaining over the company Bizits. Turns out loads and loads of people ordered cheap stuff from him and never got it. Steer clear from small sellers of consoles guys.
