I'd do more to encourage third parties to jump on the bandwagon. For example, help new developers optimise the Wii controls, or help them bring out the graphical potential of the Wii.

My real worry is where Nintendo'll go next generation. The two multi-format taking corporations can improve graphics, and will also have learnt from this generation that there needs to be more innovation in the way we play the games. Nintendo will have the way we play the games, but not the ability to pour billions into graphics. Will Nintendo fade out of the home console market and stick with handhelds?

Man in the Moon was also semi-serious, and it was a great film. Sure, it was based on the life of a comedian, but he was never over the top.

If you don't have access to a PS2 then it's a life saver, but if you have a decent mat and want a challenge on DDR stay on the PS2 version. That said, Mario Mix has a good high quality soft mat free, so it was a really good deal for me. It's also a good break-in for new DDR players. The music isn't all too bad if you get into it I suppose.

Has anyone (assuming anyone other than me actually bought it) noticed that the animations on the dancers are the exact same as Mario in DDR: Mario Mix? It looks right weird. I'm looking forward to it, but I just moved my entire room around so using the Wii remotes for dance moves puts me at high risk of falling out of a window.

That seems like the DS' "third pillar" like comment. It's a fall back strategy, so if Nintendo knew that they weren't going to do well, they could use tha. Now that Wii is more or less destined for success (judging by the public reaction) they actually retracted that statement and told us they plan to be market leaders. Personally, I think alot of the big movements in Nintendos marketing strategy have been Reggie and Iwata's influence. I wouldn't say it was a bad influence either.

After that "On The Spot" thing, I don't really think of Gamespot as a great source, considering how terrible they were at actually playing games.

I'm getting Red Steel regardless of what all the reviewers say. Everytime I've gone by that philosiphy it's turned out the game is hella underrated. I've gone for some highly rated stuff and it's been hella overrated in the past.

Now that's how you get someone excited for a console launch. I don't like the new layout. It's pretty much the same, just reorganised.

Seems like bias to me. Judging by his other reviews he is one of those "baby games!111" people.
