This and Dante's baby poster were hilarious. That beatings thing is so spot on(i took a fair old beating as a kid). Anyway! I do believe I have a devlopment on the TABLE TENNIS VIDEO FRONT! I HAVE FOUND IT!!!! It's from like, one minute in this vid, though you might as well watch the whole minute before cos it's quite amusing. I've spent all morning scouring tinternets, and I finally found it from finding their names. I KNEW i remember moustaches as well lol. I swear it's had a tiny chunk cut out of it though

Firstly, alot of internet jokes as Twozzok mentioned, are inevitably derived from something originally on 4chan, or SA, or various other chan sites(I know SA isn't a chan site, never really been on SA though). I'm amazed how many people DON'T know about 4chan, I often tell my friends of things I've seen on the internet, I've seen the dank dark recesses of the place, it's 4chan. I never actually mention the site irl though, I just let it slide. Part of me is worried of what my friends might think of me, maybe! I also agree with Jay, it's an incredibly interesting experiment and reflection of human nature. True human nature, unbound by social norms. I find it fascinating and intriguing, but also worry it's slowly destroying whatever soul I have left and totally desensitising me to alot of stuff and the world. Agreed it's a vile place, and that racism and all sorts run rife, though I wonder how much is just the shock comedy value, as opposed to actual full blown racism(i myself dabble in rather alot of comedy racism with my friends). I imagine people get a liberation from it too. I think as long as you're a sensible person with a good head on you, going there shouldn't damage you too much, really. There's some people who probably shouldn't go there though, young and/or impressionable minds, really. For all it's bad though, it can be quite an amusing place(like the rules, image macros, lolcats, stupid stories, the general way people act etc).

Daymn ReZ, that sounds like quite the bitchfest of a situation. I'd offer you some helping words or advice, but all I can tell you is that I've recently determined approximately 98 in 100 girls are actually crazy, and crazy just cannot be argued with. I'm terribly stubborn, in your situation I'd just end up having a massive fight and standing my ground or telling her she's being totally ridiculous and to gtfo. I have a bit of a problem with being too blunt. Also in regards to Molly and her phone situation, what phone do you have? You might already know whether your phone can or cannot, but with the technophobe comment I thought I might point out not all phones take microSD or have expandable memory thingies, but then yours might if you can connect to to a PC? If it makes you feel better, I do rather hate vista too though As for my day, I came in from spoons(ale fest!) about 12ish after a tasty kebab, not had a kebab for ages and I promptly fell asleep. For some fucking ridiculous reason, I was awake at half 7! Like all of me, except my eyes which I couldn't open, so since then I've just been sitting here on tinternets. I feel hungover, one which I thought I'd escape as I didnt think I was that drunk. On top of which my entire body is knackered as and aches so much, namely my arse and shoulders, for some weird reason.

YES! I LOVE YOU!! Why is this video so hard to find though!! I am sure when I saw it it was on TV, a clip show or something, right at the end they showed it. I have literally no idea why it is so hard to find, and why it is so hard to find people who've seen it, and more importantly why there's so much other crap out there on the internet! It's been my offhanded quest for a few years now, I gave up hope after a while. We must find a way to appeal to the masses!

Haha wow, those are some pretty brutal hacks. Reminds me of this 'impossible' SMB hack, video was about 20 minutes long of this guy just trying to do one stage, in the end he's just like 'fuck it' and gives up. Wasn't edited at all though, all just continous run. I actually thought he might do it, how foolish I was, though I found it an amusing ending. I'd look into hacks and stuff, but I dunno, if I could get a 'harder' version of the already existing SMW(cos I know it fairly inside out now) then maybe. Also, maybe going a bit more off topic and into less than allowed territory(im not sure, but it should be fine) for anyone who DOES fancy playing around with SMW, there's an excellent excellent easy to use level editor out there called Lunar Magic, but a guy called FuSoYa that I played around with a bit myself. Got alot of scope on it too!

I don't know if I ever approve of getting someone to write it for you/significantly help you write it! Though I guess it's your choice. What do you struggle with writing them anyway? How long does it have to be also? When is it due? I'm quite terrible with writing essays, or so I thought, I tend to sit down to write and don't do anything for about 4 hours, but then as I get going I really get into the swing of things. A few people told me I have a good writing style, but I'm not sure if they mean it or know what they're talking about, as I was always crap in school at writing stuff. My biggest problem comes from the fact I always put them off til the last minute and pull allnighters though, I wouldn't recommend doing that cos I think whilst the pressure makes me work, the quality probably suffers because of it.

Man, I just spent the last 2 days caning through the last 30 episodes of Death Note, and I rather liked it! I hear there's alot of hype around it, which I don't quite get to be honest. I preferred FMA more than Death Note, but that isn't to say Death Note isn't very good and surpasses FMA in some ways(only, FMA surpasses it more ). Anyway, basically I don't watch much anime, and my problem/issue with it is that...there's so much! Like, there's actually so much anime, but more so an actual series is so long. So basically I was wondering if anyone out there can recommend me some good anime that isn't too long? Like...somewhere around the 50episode or so mark? Assuming each episode is around 20 like minutes. Just something short that I could breeze through to take up a few days!

I think you're wrong Ashley, as people said, people were only asking out of concern. I wasn't prying into her personal life or anything, I just wanted to know if anyone had actually heard from her and everything is cool. God forbid we should be worried about anyone that isn't ourself in this world, eh? It's not hard to say 'She's left and doesn't want anyone to know why', but hardly possibly to say 'She's left and doesn't want anyone to know' cos clearly everyone noticed. And in fact, I'm struggling to find one place where people have been 'gossiping about her personal life'. As for my earlier post in this thread regarding it, I should think it clear both those questions were jokes. Funny actually, I was going to post in this thread about whether people just get fed up with the shitty people in the shitty world, but then I just ended up reading through all the threads on the forums and got cheered into quite a good mood. Seems I've had rather a spoiled start to my day.

Paypal can be gay with the cut they take though, for VC titles I'm not sure if it's worth it. I was going to try to set up tournaments on the forums and use paypal to take like tiny entrance fees, then have VC titles as the prizes, but the cuts were a bit too hefty for it to be worth it even at a few quid, iirc. I asked them about it and explained things, and then they told me it was gambling! Also probs gonna be more hassle than it's worth, and I don't like this Dyson fellow, he seems a bit shady... (Otherwise, a totally sweet idea Dyson man!)

Yes, yes we did. It did work, a bit, had to skip scandisk and then as I said I sort of got into windows. If I re-install from the CD will it wipe any data I have on the hard drive? It's more my brother's domain to deal with, and he's a tit so he just does stuff sometimes(it's a long story, nvm). The CD drives weren't recognise by windows, in fact I think only the HDD, floppy, and USB were(when plugged in before starting). Obv now it won't even go into windows. I noticed one drive didn't seem to open, so I thought it might not have power, think my brother sort of half fixed it(i can deal with software and stuff fairly well, but hardware is his dealie, im screwed) but now the motherbaord is making a weird noise at him. A sort of dee-doo-dee-doo, not found out if anything's changed since, due to my brother not being the easiest of people. I'm trying to find solutions so my dad can have his computer working again, because my brother doesn't have too much time to put into it.

Terrible jokes are the best, they go so far into bad they break through some weird barrier into being the pinnacle of funny. My mate hit me with a mat earlier accidentally(like, safety mats, for falling onto like) and then I hit him back with one, and was just like 'What's wrong Simon, something the MAT-er?' and it was like brilliance. He had nothing except a laugh at my genius, no mat or comeback could thwart me! Also, when people call my jokes terrible, I like to pause and say 'Terribl...y awsome, eh? Eh?' I think I skipped from being 20 to Old Man/Embarassing Dad tbh. I'm still laughing jsut typing up this post lol.

My arm hurts. I've just spent a large part of my evening groping up the biceps of sweaty dudes and having the same done to me. Still, it was suprisingly fun. That is all. The rest of my day was spent caning through Death Note, good shit. What did you do at uni? I get a feeling I read it somewhere else before, but I can't remember where and it's a rather big board Wow, an excellent question, was it by her random meetup guy? Has he stalked her to japan? Anyway, I've spent a long time looking, and now I'm going to put a request out to this thread(I was going to make a post on the forums, but I shall try here first). A long time ago, possibly pre-internet or more likely in the 56k days when videos were not the done sort of thing, I saw a clip on TV of a ping pong match. However, it was no ordinary ping pong match. The match was stopped and the ref called over cos of a speck of dust or something on the table. Suddenly, the players start playing on a slightly smaller table, and the video continues. Now, I've looked all over the internet where I've thought sensible, and all I ever fucking find is that stupid matrix ping pong or well long ping pong shots. I have never found another soul who has seen this video. But approximately 30 days ago, I casually asked a friend of mine about it, I forget why. She has seen it. Upon questioning her as to where, she merely said 'somewhere on the internet' and could not elaborate. Someone else has seen this video. It does exist. I did not imagine it. N-E, have YOU seen this video? I have srsly actually been questing for years for it, if you have seen this video, please post here. A young man's amazement depends on it. tl:dr; Anyone seen a video of a ping pong match where they progressively play on smaller tables? PLEASE tell me you have! I will love you long time(approximately 394 seconds, and not like that, pervert!)

For the record, I don't believe. I never did, and I'm alot less likely to now I did a module in Anomalistic Psychology(actually well fun and well interesting, was done by a Prof Chris French, quite the forefigure on parapsychology). I'm quite amazed that you were taken in somewhat, especially given you had this person visit you in a psychology lesson of all places! Were you told what the point was, or indeed anything regarding the legitimacy of such kinds of people, from the point of view of what Psychology teaches?

I should have thought half the fun of electronics was actually to be playing around with shizzle and seeing what it does! As I'm too lazy to actually look into it myself, what's the point in circuit emulation software except on a serious scale? I used to find electronics quite interesting myself, but then it just stopped being a part of my life(not cos it like ran off with my best friend or anything, just wasn't a part of anything I learned, obv).

I think Jay took the numerous penis enamoured cards, I have like...120 or something silly of my own too, but I've lost them all somewhere. Tis cool on the pedo front anyway, I was far too old to be there. I'm secretly 38. In fact, you know what, if I start to work on getting something together now, I should probably make an actual start on it by like...January if we're lucky. I say same weekend in July! Ooo, tough call. If we had to work more, the world would need like...upto 25% more monies, where's them monies gonna come from? Especially with the current financial crisis. EDIT:Just been reading that link I've posted, you're probably not covered through 3rd parties, which kinda makes sense. Also apparently it's only for things over £100, but I imagine most credit card companies will extend it to less on goodwill. I have Paypal, I got it for eBay cos I buy stuff(never sold) and tend to use it whenever I have the option, even through other companies that aren't eBay. Why? It saves me doing all my details again and is done in a flash, that's also quite scary. Don't recall ever having problems I had to resolve through paypal, some ebay issues yes but otherwise no. Otherwise, I have a debit card and have had for 3-4 years despite being long aware of the shared responsibility/liability of a credit card company that gives you the extra protection. It applies to EVERYTHING everywhere too, not just online.
