What is the most that you guys would pay for this? Someone's offering me it for £25, and whilst I did rather like RE4, I'm not sure if I really NEED RE5 right now and for that cost, or is it worth it?

This thread is going to be a thread, I apologise, about ME! I'm planning to get a haircut cos my hair's getting heinously long, but I cannae decide how to get it cut. I've asked a good few people, mixed reactions, so I'm gonna ask you, N-Europe! This thread also doubles up as a general thread about hair length and your opinions, too. I did think of doing this in the User Image gallery, but I kind of want to get stronger response sooner, and I'm also generally curious about people's opinions on hair! It comes up sometimes but never really gets a good discussion! Anyway, my hair is currently rather long so it could use a cut, following are lots of pictures of me and my hair at different times(reverse chronological), just so you know. Excuse my twatty faces from here on out. They ain't my best of photos, but I tried to get the ones that showed my hair, obviously. So I'm asking you N-Europe, how short should I get my hair judging on these photos? I kinda wanna get it cut just to the length I still catch all the hair to tie it back, but open to all opinions(hence presenting all my hair looks). Tell me which you like best! I also apologise for how narcissitic and shallow this thread may be, but can you judge hair without seeing? All photos are roughly dated, if it helps anything...

With my not long obtained Finglemitts, sparse working activity, and numerous occurences of drinking/being drunk in public, I potentially AM one of those hobos so I dunno how much scaring away I can do. Unless they get on my patch, fucking hobos trying to come muscle in on my alleyboxes! Grr! As for Platty and his place, he lives about as close to central as me, in fac the lives not too far away from me iirc, but round here's kinda the butthole of the saafeest, unfortunately

For me, it does NOT happen with the thread that ReZ posted, the 'Rate the last film you saw thread' but it DOES still happen with the User Image Gallery, the only extra bit of info I can offer is that when I mouseover the 'Last Page' option, the url in my status bar refers to the nonexistant page 327(I'm on 40 ppp) and when I click it it takes me to the actual last page, which is appearing as page 325 of 327 but I can't get to that. I've changed no settings since the changeover, except earlier when I changed my PPP from Forum Default to 40, and I'm still on the widescreen stretchy theme Screw that, it happens on all the themes it seems, though I didn't do hard refreshes. Also, when I actually click the link/type the wrong url in, it automatically goes to the correct one for the page, if that makes any sense/helps. I really don't know what kind of information I should be giving... EDIT: I tried like nearly every option on every setting in my view options with hard refreshes on the thread each time, I may have not done it extensively and thoroughly but none of it seemed to change/fix things(except viewing hybrid or threaded), so I dunno what it is, I know little about forums and stuffs and the way they work.

So something happened to the forum? What happened?? I did not know but I did notice an upgrade to newer forum stuffies(see, that's my technicalness at work). I've noticed on my other computer(XP, running latest IE) and this laptop(Vista running latest FF) that the User Image Gallery is doing the same thing with it's posts. It tells me there are more pages to the thread, but I cannot seem to get past the second to last page. I've just tried changing my options for Posts per Page from the forum default to 40per page. Whilst the number of pages has gone down, it still shows there's at least 2 more pages than what I can see(tho it seems not the actual factual case, as I've seen a new post since) EDIT: I'm on the yoga stretchy theme thingy, btw.

I have a strange feeling that this is only a very teeny tiny minor little thing. I reckon it only applies to officially put up videos on like official company's youtube channels, and so this isn't THAT big a deal as long as anyone else is hosting up them videos under their own channels. Then the only problem comes if the owners of the copyrights decide to blitz any unofficial videos, which they may just turn a blind eye to because of this, I mean, they've got the vids up for a reason in the first place ain't they?

This is sounding epic and awesome all at the same time, epicawesome! Where abouts is the hostel you guys stay in btw Jay? I probs won't hostel in with you guys, but I may well hang round up central for a few nights if you guys are upto anything for the days either side?

I find it rather overdone and tedious, just like you get lots of people who think they can sing properly and really well etc, you get just as many people who think they can shout properly and really well etc. It has its place, and usually I find that's when it's done with some semblance of tunefulness underneath, not just shouting lots and lots as loud/screechy as you can. I know some people like that, I personally just do not. More often than not, it also ruins what could otherwise be a pretty good song for me, ugh.

Yeah they're both in Workgroup, but on my laptop I didn't have file sharing turned on just media sharing which I expected would be enough as it shares with the xbox with no problems at all. I was trying to get it working just through WMP to WMP and keep it all there, but it seems it's doomed to not work for some shitty reason or another. I never explicity shared a music folder with my network y'see, I did it through WMP's media sharing thing which shares everything in the media library, or something. I can set up my Vista laptop to share files to my XP comp if I stick them in the public folder(tho it only works when I turn off password required sharing) so for now I'm just gonna do it like that, I think. I don't see why it doesn't work WMP to WMP though, and why this is all such an effort to do!

Hmm, maybe it's an XP thing, because I have just looked in both my WMPs, and on my laptop it does have that option to 'see media that other people are sharing' as well as 'share my media to' whereas on this XP comp it only has the 'share my media to' option. How rather very annoying. I'd noticed the windows site and help etc kept referring to sharing with another Vista comp, but I thought it might be ok with XP as it had the sharing option. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be able to work from XP, though. EDIT: So basically, I can share XP -> Vista, but not Vista -> XP, which is what I want to do. I also have no option to see media other people are sharing, in WMP11 on WindowsXP.

Ohi. I have Vista on my laptop, I have lots of music on there too. I have the latest WMP on it as well. I have a recently appeared PC(XP) which I'm apparently not allowed to install or put anything on, too. I use it sparsely, but decided whilst I do I wish to listen to my music, but here comes my problem. I already have sharing setup on the laptop, and in fact use it to stream my media to my X360, that all works well and fine. Today I came onto this PC and opened media player(V11), can't figure out how to make it 'see' the laptop. I dunno if I have to do something on the laptop or the computer or what. So I nosed around the sharing settings on here in WMP, and it 'saw' my laptop after a few seconds and I selected it as an option to share music with, so I set it up like that. However, it seems I'm sharing this PC's media(which is like nothing) with the laptop, and not vice versa. I tried the same on the laptop, but it doesn't 'see' this PC to give me the option to share its media with it! It's bloody annoying, because it's clearly not totally broken, and it can share media, but it's sharing it in the opposite bloody direction to what I want!

Totes. Honestly N-Europe, I'm well dissappointed in you all. What do you even DO on the internet?? More on topic, what's the current kind of happy haps for meeting ups? Anyone got accomodation and stuff sorted for themselves yet? Dates, times, plans, etcetc. The sunshine out my window in the last few days is getting me pumped for a good year.

Why do you need consoles to test a laser etcher, whatever that may be? The ignorance expressed in which may lead to a clear reason why I'm asking a potentially retarded question. Btw guys, anyone with a cracked DS case(or a broken screen) who'd get rid of that stuff for nothing, send it my way! I've for a long while wanted to try recasing a DS, but had no broken enough DSes to hand to warrant it(nor warrant the expenditure of a broken one when I probably can't fix it).

Ahh, that's the problem, now you're saying smashed when all you said before was drunk! For me, drunk is a blanket term which basically means to be under the influence of alcohol, beyond that there's all sorts such as tipsy, pissed, smashed, wasted, off me nut, etc etc and even then some of those terms are subjective. I thought you just generally meant people who get themselves under any sort of influence.

I am quite amazed by all your results, is there something I am just not seeing? Tbh, I considered doing it now whilst I'm slightly drunk, but I did it in my head and all of yours looks different to mine... (P.S Where did you find this/what inspired you ReZ? What? Where's your logic/reasoning in that one? I often go out to get drunk, does that mean I don't deserve the right? If I wasn't drinking alcohol for drunkness, I wouldn't be drinking it at all(well, maybe for the taste of some too).

I do think it's intriguing, and I DO wonder where it'll go next. I always have that though, I'm not much of a new ideas man, I just rinse out the old ones and get them for all their worth, we move forward with some things too fast. Gaming, I'm keen to see where THAT goes next. Music, well, where CAN it go next? Online/downloading to keep it worth the monies, really. Problem with Blu-Ray, is that unlike Analogue to Digital TV, VHS to DVD, Phono Audio to Cassette Audio to CD Audio etc, is that it's not as simple as just buying one new thing to hook up to your already existing system, which is rather gay. Those one new things have already always been expensive as it is, but to also have to get a HD TV to go with it, bahhh! MONIES! So yeah, as people said, this shit ain't gonna take off proper til prices fall properly. As for Blu-Ray, not really seen or experienced it, but I don't see its neccessity really, it was just a good/last desperate move by Sony to probably find a way to stay afloat, and I hate Sony. They've been trying for ages to make the 'new' format in order to mint themselves out, now the fuckers have finally succeeded. I'd've prefered HD-DVD, why didn't it win anyway?

Bit of both, though when I can I try to get the original dub with subs, just feel like I get a better feel of the movie that way. Sometimes I'll rewatch stuff in english dub(anime like) but I do prefer original languageness. Can't beat english dubbed martial arts films though, that's a little bit genius.

Where are you coming from/into? As jay said, the problem with a meeting place and/or time, is that some people tend to all come in at different times and places and so you end up spending half the meetup...meeting up and not doing anything fun! Though if you REALLY need a place, you could probably meetup with anyone who's staying the friday night at their hostel before they head over to Hyde Park? I am not gonna do any initial start of the day meetings, because I'm most likely coming from home/southeast london/kent edgings, and I have the horrific timekeeping skills handed down by my lazy carribean forefathers, which means I'm inevitably late for everything but stuff I'm being paid for.

I probably had/have more rivalries than all of you, I think there's just more about me to be jealous about, so yeah, it probably is jealousy, cos I'm kind of awesome.
