That is *the* dance, there's nothing more fun that it! I never used to dance when I went out, now I tend to dance all the time, even if it is like a spaz! I take my inspiration from Marcamillian, he has very SRS VIEWS on the issue of dancing like a fool. My day, well, I woke up at 12 flukily, but accidentally fell asleep about an hour later. I've only just woken up again, my sleep pattern is totally fucked and I need to get up by 10 tomorrow otherwise I'm in very big trouble(cos I'll be late for work, I cannot afford to be), I also still need to write a banging cover letter and touch up my CV a bit by tomorrow night, but all I can think to do is watch WATXM and play some Fable 2!

Man, I just woke up to find this out, it feels like you knew was coming one day, but still don't wanna hear. What an amazing guy, I wonder how many budding young artists he inspired in his time! At least he's done a good run at 83 though, man was an absolute legend.

Heh, I seen it before at the cinema but it's on TV tonight too so I'm having my mate or two over to come and enjoy it's sheer ridiculousness with me lol. I foresee it being a good night, somehow! Though I *really* need to get a job app done tomorrow, deadline is tuesday! I only just woke up though, really. I was up all thursday with the night shift obviously, and instead of doing the sensible thing and sleeping last night, I finally broke into Fable II at about 11, I didn't come back up til 4...and I haven't even done that much! Just got hooked on blacksmithing and making monies, dammit! Think I'll wake up, eat some stuff, play some more, then sort out aforementioned friends!

Awww, poor little SingleMitt They're sposed to be together in a pair forever, like lobsters...or tortoises, or things that love for long time(not dodgy chinese masseurs though)! I'm sorry to hear about your loss, though you can stay in the club...which reminds me....I HAVE FINGLEMITTS! They're very regular and manly, thinsulate ones, quite warm, bit annoyed that they thumb remains fingerless as it's impractical to put in the mitt mostly, but on the whole...AWESOMETINGS! Brilliant post btw

Gah! I had an excellent plan, stay up late monday tuesday and wednesday, like REALLLY late til 4 or so, then sleep most of the days, AND last night was crucial! I managed to staying up, but this morning my mother has insisted on coming in and talking to me THREE DIFFERENT FUCKING TIMES that I'm now awake and feeling that irritable itch of tiredness, and she KNOWS I have to work tonight. Never again am I gonna stand for it when she bitches and moans that a tiny noise I made downstairs woke her up whilst she was fucking sleeping. Not impressed. Not fucking impressed. I should get off the internets.

You know what I do to people who do things like that? Punch them in the face. Just saying, that's all. There's a guy who used to be quite notorious for being bad at borrowing stuff without shitting it up. Broke at least 4 different lended things back in school(like cases, mashed up a book etc) Unfortunately he's my best friend now. He asked me the other day whether I'd given him the last book in HDM. I politely pointed out to him he has my whole fucking trilogy, he seemed a little disbelieving and fell rather silent. He has my TP too, I warned him what happens if one more scratch(there's a light one already) gets on it. Faces, fists. Something else beginning with F. Yeah.

Ok, done a bit of a trawl, basically just taking responses from people for attendance, added some mild info which I've probably said before. Apologies. It's going to be a messy first post, tell me how to make it nice and easy, what you guys want to know and need inside that post. I'll put it in there! For now though, check the attendees list and see if you're in the right catergories, if not let me know! PLEASE try and not all just hang in the middle maybe category, I understand it's uncertain for now obviously, but whenever you can be more certain, please do!

Ok sweet, thanks for that Twozzok! I take it they don't need any external power and/or cooling then? I'd always though HDs had some sort of cooling whilst running, I dunno why. Is that just totally wrong lol? -

So basically, anyone who reads General and caught my post about my day, I wasted 4 hours trying to get the HDD out of a laptop, to find it takes 5 minutes. This isn't about that though, now that I can get it out, I know that it is IDE. I want to try and hook it up to another computer through USB, so I can get any semi-important shit I had on it off of it(mainly old photos I haven't got elsewhere) then use it as an external HDD. However, I know nothing about doing this!! What's a good enclosure to get, whether it matters, etc etc etc. What do I need to know, what do I need to buy? Will anything just work, I stick my drive in(40GB I believe) then hook it up to my USB and shizam! I can see everything it holds?

I have spent about 4 hours with a screwdriver set and some pliers and a laptop(the pliers for added torque and dropped screws, two pairs in fact, long nosed and not). Basically it's an old laptop that fried and wouldn't boot windows about 2 years ago if anyone remembers, but the CD drive was fucked so I couldn't try and fix it like that. Then my brother opened it up, broke the heatsink and needed to get some paste to fix it, but he took out the cd drive and the hard drive, but I told him to put them back cos I WAS planning on fixing it via USB somehow. Anyway, whilst waiting to be thermaglued up, it was left by the other comp and got its screen cracked somehow(dropped something on it, or stepped on, who knows). I just decided to get a new laptop, lol. Aaaanyway, spent about 2 hours taking bits off, taking out the FDD and the CD drive layers here and there, thinking the HDD might be underneath everything(under the heatsink maybe, I thought they get hot?) but to no avail(im not too good with hardware side of things). Decide to look on the internet as I get stumped at one point, lots of places with the same broken link to a service manual, but found out to get to the RAM...you take the keyboard off and it's under there?! So i thought maybe that's where I need to go, but no luck. I waste another hour or so undoing screws under there hoping it might loosen stuff up but no luck. EVENTUALLY I find on tinternets on the site of a manufacturer of an apparently identical model, a 'Configuration Guide'. Have a read of this, turns out it's got alot of hardware info...read a bit more....turns out the fucking HDD is tucked in behind the FDD!! So all this time I'm tinkering at the laptop, the HDD is easily available in this FDD I'd taken and put on the floor, how embarrassing. So, 4 hours for something that now takes me less than 5 minutes. Now to purchase an enclosure to use it as an external HDD! To the tech forums! Also had some screws left over when I put it back together, with the irony being I'd put some screws in places I didn't even get them from! Luckily I had some brainstorms and stuck them all back in places so I think I'm cool now. I had so much planned for the day too, such as starting to form a career plan...but oh well, procrastination has always been my strong point!

God mutya is ugly. Like that's it. I used to call her muntya, bit mean maybe, she COULD look good probably, if she didn't tart her face up like such a chavvy slag. Eurgh. Hate her face. Presuming I've ever seen it under all that cake. Snap! I've fallen off since like series 4/5/a bit of 6. Really need to get my shit sorted, but this isn't about that. I've gotten into this a bit half and half, part time if you will. I'm sort of half liking it, but mainly just for Coolio, he's such a joker! He's a tiny bit beyond the limit, but Michelle is bringing it on herself a bit. Don't react, sorted. Not seen as much of MiniMe as I was hoping to, and Mutya doesn't say much at all, Tina says TOO much, and nobody else made much impact. Terry's all right enough, though he might grind on me after a while...maybe. Also loving how Big Brother is(n't) dealing much with the Coolio thing, I'm surprised there isn't a ton of crazy backlash about it yet! He raises very good points though.

Well due to subscription fiascos and my own shitness and all that, I haven't read an issue since about...october? Spidey was just at the clone saga where Fury's about to take him in, Xmen was just about to start a new saga with Sinister next issue or something. *Think* the last story was about Shadow King. I thought the same about the doubling/catching up though, so I'm just kind of amazed they're dropping it so soon. Issue 90! That's like...probably march or something silly. I'm getting my missed issues sent to me(for 1.70 and issue, pfft) so that's 3 issues...I need to make sure I don't miss the one after. But yeah, on the whole, plain gayness. Do you know how cheap/expensive it'd be to get just ultimate in? I'd probs wanna buy a ton at the same time though, save on postage and stuff.

Well I'd heard(from you on here iirc lol) that Ultimate X-Men was getting cancelled, but surely these are so far behind the US ones anyway that they could have run for a fair while yet? It's literally dropping in the next few months, do you know how far ahead/what issue it's running to? Also expected they'd at least keep running Ultimate Spider-man, though I guess now...well, I'm a bit too poor to be importing it issue by issue now, so I might just wait and try and get it when they graphic novel it all up? Who knows... What year of your course are you in Daft? I know a girl who knows a few people at SOAS, and I always forget but I swear she told me she's doing something and Social Anthropology!! Sure things'll pick up for you though, but we're all still young, no need to be rushing into anything or anywhere! I'm currently also in a rather ambigous sort of rut, no idea where life should, or is, gonna go from here right now. EDIT: Take the Derren Brown talk to a new thread! Namely cos I missed it, but also because he started to grind on me a while back.
