New challange! I have a list of (alot) of data, mainly things that occured and the date upon which such a thing occured. Slightly complicated, that there are things in this list belonging to a certain person. Actually, I don't know why I'm being vague. I have ~450 people, with ~1500 blood tests. I need to see for person A whether there was a test in Jan(y/n), in Feb(y/n)....in Dec(y/n). So I'd like an output something like this; Jan Feb Mar..................Dec Person 1 Y N N ....................Y Person 2 N N N ....................N Is there an easy way to figure out(by database or spreasheet) this table? A person could have 5 tests in one month, or none. I need to know whether there was none, or not, essentially. I've no idea how to do it really, though. My dates are in dd/mm/yyyy format. It's ok if not possible/easy, it's just something that would simplify stuff a lot down the line.

I'm a little worried of the implications of this, but of course, Answer:Rummy...for unity!

I'm planning on being Dark Link(, and himself...uh...regular Link, so I wanted to try and get ideas on making the costume and bits ourselves so we look respectively identical whilst alternatively coloured. It's spose to be a secret/party suprise though so don't tell my friends

I concur in that I'm not exactly sure what we're reading, and agree the riddle can be read backwards(but equally just as much forwards?). It does seem to follow the narrative backwards, though. How can you determine it's a camera? Because he can see us but us not him? He must surely be able to see or have something rigged if he shot the copper though. Maybe the police officer is the one on death's list, with Blood and Smith not?

Bit of both really. I won't be doing the making, as my skillz are teh failz, but I do have a human resource to help me/they're also gonna be link. We're doing a slight link double act. Really, ideas for doing the accessories would be quite helpful, I haven't looked massively hard so far into making swords/shields etc, but I was also wondering if there's any really effective ways to make cheap ones, or like somewhere that'll sell something that could be used easily quite cheaply. I have a budget as said, but I'm not sure if it'll stretch, as I have to match my other link in style sort of.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. Also I appreciated Eevil's more subtle/obvious one a little more. You do, however, have better hugs(I didn't do a lot of hugging Eevil)

I'm refusing to conform and vote because the GM should have ended it already! Though he did make exception for the meet. Even so, I'd say we're well past time! Classic mafia tactic :p

Hmm, that's a good point, something I hadn't thought of. Definitely contemplating testing it sometime, maybe I'll run a small/basic mafia to try it out and see.

Thread seems mighty quiet.

Just thought I'd make a post searching for ideas in putting together and/or making a link costume for fancy dress like. I know we've got a few people here who've done some pretty good fancy dress style stuff in the past, so I'm after ideas on things that might make it awesome. So far I have...nothing, though maybe a budget/human resource.

I mean like all voting for the same person, they'd need to to still get the lynch. Obviously it'd need to actually be tested, but that's the thing, for them all to vote for the same person can increase the suspicions on(if had) alignment reveals. It assumes a broader activity, and also when a mafia is being voted for, can help avoid the issue of staying quiet/avoiding suspicion and hoping to avoid majority. Some people wait to hear more before voting, and the person in question just doesn't post to avoid it. I dislike it, yet I've done it myself.

Admittedly for me it isn't much of a commitment as I'm an easy enough train ride away, but I always ensure I have the day to attend(I was joking about being lame, I think I'd always make the effort regardless). Tbh I'd feel a bit out of order not attending from so close when some people come from so far away! I didn't make the sheff meet cos I fell off the forums around the time, and found out a little too late to get my stuff sorted/was being a noob at the time. I'd definitely try and make any meets across the country though.

Well I've got a few ideas for games, though not all the time/creativity to run them so it wouldn't happen for quite a while if it does. I did wonder about the mafia storming the votes, but then that also runs the risk of easily revealing yourselves because you're all voting the same(or, possibly, increasing suspicion even more!). Sometimes I feel the tension can fall out of a game depending how people are playing, and especially when inactives are so inactive it can be hard to reach early majorities! Of course, it is each to his own, but it's something that might be interesting to see.
