Thta's because Gamespot are anti-Nintendo and are total wankers. They wouldn't dare do anything like that with a big name 360 release. They're arseholes, especially the fat retard.

I love the Wii Sports graphics, they are simple, clean and stylish. They suit the game and do the job perfectly. It's games like Far Cry that make my blood boil. Some games need more graphical power.

Plus, when people do things like this, they get talked about, and people like playing pranks on others.

It's not a problem when games look like Gamecube games, the Gamecube produced some of the best looking (if not THE best looking) console games ever. It's when the games look like they could be done on the N64.

I don;t think this is exactly the Gmecube's Halo. I did like the landmaster and certainly don;t think it controlled badly as others did. But it wasn't Halo!

blistering response!!! And very true to boot, it's all well and good specualting and talking technical jargon, but the proof is in the pudding, and in this case the pudding is rather ugly!

Of course graphics matter. They are part of a package, and you want the whole package to be a polished and engaging item. It's like asking if sound, replay value and length are important, again they're all part of the overall package. Of course people will always say gameplay is the most important thing, and they are right to say so. A beautiful but shallow game is not what we want, however I also don;t want to see a great game ruined because the graphics are appalling and ruin the overall playing experience. We all know the Wii is not gonna produce the ground breaking graphics that the PS3 or 360 produce. However the Wii is more powerful than XBOX and Gamecube, and both of those systems produced some of the best looking games we've ever seen - and I'm happy with that level of graphic quality. No one can argue with the beauty of Ninja Gaiden, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 4, Rogue Leader and Halo 2. But when we're seeing games that look like Far Cry, where the textures and details are akin to those we saw on the N64 we have a problem. It's not acceptable, and it's not gonna help the Wii's cause.

That's A Wii tin, hmmm, I wish we'd had known about these beautiful items. Nintendo should've released a special edition like Rare did with PD0, I would happily have paid an extra £10/£15 for a nice tin!

Well, I nearly missed it, and I wanted it because I loved Lylat Wars so very much. It's not that it's bad, it just doesn't reach the heady heights you know it could!

Me too, a lazy bunch of arsehole developers have ruined a game from a great franchise because they're more interested in turning a quick profit than putting out a polished bit of software. The sad thing is this could've been done on the N64. I don;t mind if games look Gamecube quality, as long as they utilse the great power of the Gamecube and achieve what can be achieved with that hardware. (Ideally every game would push the Wii and look better than GC games). But when games that I really want end up like this it makes me angry. Ubisoft seemed to be doing the Wii a great service releasing so many titles, in the end all they seem to have done is flooded the system with shite (Rayman excluded).

Spot on! Absolutely right, anyone who is simultaneously throwing the controller so hard it would smash a TV AND releasing their grip of it deserve a smashed TV. I think a lot of these wrist strap problems come from people who are looking for reasons to knock the Wii.

I agree, the american boxart is very er... American, the European one is far more arty, the same can be said for the Resident Evil boxart.

I got my e-mail from Gameplay yesterday evening saying my order has been dispatched. I can't wait to play it, shame as I'll be waiting until Christmas day But I've waited long enough already so a few more days won't kill me! Still no reviews in for it yet, new direct feed footage over on IGN today though.

fine scratches always seem to appear on any discs over time, and if you can only see them in very strong light when the disc is tilted I wouldn't worry. Start to worry when your Wii starts eatingt he discs like XBOX360s did at the beginning lol

I'm on level 9 at the mo, I kinda lost interest at that point. At the mo I'm playing through this and Fire Emblem, believe me, Fire Emblem is winning the war for console time lol
