That set up is way too organised . It needs to be full on hardcore with wires and picks about the place . I agree about the Pacifica it's shite for metal however I simply don't have the funds for anything decent yet. I'm juggling between saving up for a loan, wii+games or a guitar right now.

I'm still in a noob state right now as i've no fundage for the proper stuff. My guitar, Yamaha Pacifica, is holding me back. I love playing my mates Jackson but I can't afford one. I have a decent effects set up, that set me back a good £150. Oh and a crappy 20W amp on the verge of breaking heh. However maybe I can 'borrow' some equipment from my music tech course this year . I know we'll be allowed to practice in the mini recording studio whenever.

That's quite an achievement, I should know i'm also learning Metallicas songs and they are by no means easy. I can play Enter Sandman (minus solo heh) and For Whom The Bell Tolls. Starting to learn Battery, Harvester of Sorrow, Leper Messiah, Master of Puppets, Wherever I may roam and 'pursuaded' to learn Orion by my Bass player mate.

Depends if it was the WHOLE song, not some peoples lame attempts which are nothing like it. Oh and i'll join you in the mass cyber suicide, I woke up and had emo hair and that can't be allowed to continue.

I'm a veteran of the original, shame I don't have a powerful enough pc to run this one...

I can't play any UT games before 6, going to see Superman Returns at 8...

What the fuck...

Yes that'd definately be top of my list of priorities. I'd probably do the usual, get the lottery numbers too, go back 10 or so years and tell myself NOT to do or TO do certain things. I'd then go into the future to see what it's like, not quite sure if i'd like to see myself to be honest, perhaps seeing friends though would be cool. Oh and i'd buy the complete boxset of Lost and bring it back and annoy everyone.

Probably just the port for the DVD expansion.

The thing a lot of people seem to forget is it's based on the cubes architecture. This already gives any developer working on it, who has worked on the cube, an advantage. In theory, 1st gen games should be comparable to RE4 at least. In my mind that's no bad thing.

The destroyer of dreams, the scum of humanity, the complete and utter nob that is.. Jonathon Mostow. No, he isn't just some random guy I picked from thin air. Back in the mid 1990's I watched a film called Terminator 2, despite my questionable age I loved every minute. A few years later I return to the series and watch the first Terminator. Despite showing its age I was thoroughly entertained. Now, after ending so fantastically in the 2nd film. You think, it can't possibly continue can it? Hoo ha could you be more wrong. So when this monumental PRICK comes along and says he's making a third film with Arnie, i'm understandably anxious. However I go along with it and after watching trailers my hopes are risen. Unfortunately only to be dashed later by this abomination of a film. Where do I begin, the fact that Arnie looks like he can't even hold up the gun let alone shoot anything, may be a good place to start. He should never have come back for the film. To be fair to him he did a good job, however Jonathon Mostow being the fuckup he is thought it'd be a good idea to add some humour to the Terminator role. The Terminator is a killing machine, it doesn't laugh, doesn't cry, it goes around and shoots people in bloody funny and entertaining ways. If that wasn't bad enough, we have a T-X who can't act intimidating for dick. I've no problem with a woman Terminator but whoever that bint was, it did nothing for me. Also, what's with the lack of gore. I'm sorry but that's what made the previous films stand out for me, watching people being stabbed in various areas, crushed, or just simply thrown from helicopters. I'd also like to point out the over complicated plot JUST to make it seem reasonably plausable from the previous film. Jesus Christ! I hate this guy, why did he have to do this to a perfectly good franchise. What makes me hate him even more than this is that he's doing a Terminator 4. LEAVE IT THE FUCK ALONE!

Let me get this straight, you like Metallica but HAVEN'T listened to black album... Download/steal/maybe buy, it now! Sad But True alone is enough to own that album

I'll enter for any of the following Mario Kart DS, Metroid, RA2, Tiberian Sun, Battlefield 1942, CS 1.6, UT Classic and UT 2004. I don't suppose you want to stick Team Fortress Classic from Half Life 1 in there do you?

As long as they don't do with Golden Axe what Capcom did with Final Fight. Keep it 2D people.

This IS Newquay you're talking about right? Hasn't been nice and quiet since I was a kid

Bloody tourists coming and ruining my home town. If you come into Morrisons and ask for beer when it's right behind you ONE MORE TIME!... oooh I don't know what i'll do.

I hope you're not referring to me. I never said I hated them. I just said I can't stand those who force themselves to like something to fit in with society. I was actually going to say in my post that i've no qualms against those who genuinely like whatever music/film is around at the time. I just don't understand the logic behind changing who you are to fit in. However, it's their life and I don't go out my way to point out to them what I think because it's really none of my business.

All I can say is "Thank god it's a trilogy so he can't make any more". Surely Capcom has a say in where they want the Resident Evil series to go considering it must be set after RE5 at least.

I completely agree. The amount of criticism Slipknot had in the past is a joke. They're a great band and extremely talented. Who cares if you personally don't like them, that does not instantly make them any less talented. A persons opinion does not equal fact as so many would like to think it does. I think this probably applies to heavy metal/rock as a whole. It seems there's a huge divide between people who like the former and those who listen to the stuff you get in the charts. Obviously everyone has a preference but is there really a need to shit on other peoples'. Something else I can't stand is this chav mentality that's seen everywhere these days. It's like a widespread "15 year old, i'm angry at my parents" teen angst, except coming from those a lot older. People who literally HATE others simply because of their opinions and preference. Or even worse, hating someone because of their appearence. Which leads me onto my other point. Basically I can't stand anything mainstream. People who wear and listen to certain things just to fit in. I mean Jesus, get some individuality.

"sensitivity of these controls, and for the Wii in particular, the fatigue factor of having to constantly hold up your arms." This got me thinking, "what would be a good way to control the game that would also lend itself to the unique features of the Wii?" This was a comment from one of the guys on the NFS Carbon team - Game Informer I was speaking to Fierce_LiNk about this the other day. I've read a lot of developers stating that certain control styles wouldn't work because they'd 'tire' the gamer. Of course this is probably true to a point but I think they're being a bit over the top. There are also a lot of gamers who share this view, however I doubt these have even played the Wii. The point of the Wiimote is that you can do small motions with your wrist AS WELL as the large motions you see people doing playing Wiisports. It's common sense to give anything a break after 1-2 hours anyway. Personally I don't see how it can be as bad as they make out unless you go insane and make huge movements all over the place, again that's why the Wiimote is great because you don't need to do this. I also don't see why you need to 'hold your arms out'... surely you can just rest it on your knee or something. Do people like this have a point when they criticise certain control methods?

I've been told a casual gamer is one who doesn't complete the 'harder' games out there. I enjoy playing games but it's fair to say I don't complete games if i'm not compelled to. It just so happens some of these are considered difficult. For example, Metroid Prime 2. I didn't particularly enjoy playing it (loved Prime 1) and so I didn't bother trying to get any further when I got lost. Does this make me a casual gamer? I think not. I complete and play games for hours straight, IF they interest me enough to keep going. I've been playing since the NES days so I can hardly be blamed if my time spent playing games has waned over the past few years. I'd say I complete a game every 1 in 3. Oh and apparently a casual gamer is one who doesn't know a 'quality' game when they play it. So if you enjoy games, which score around the 7 mark, you must be a casual gamer. Well I do, and like Fierce, still don't consider myself a casual gamer. However I don't consider myself particularly hardcore. I'd say i'm in between. I've completed Zelda OoT more times than I care to remember, yet I can't be bothered to complete Metroid Prime 2. Go figure.

Seems like the majority remember it as Knock a door run, in one form or another, so how about you just drop the ginger... :awesome: Oh, welcome back Ford

I thought it was "Tag", then "You're it!". That's how we used to play it anyway.
