So how are you guys playing vertical mode anyway? Use the Hori Stand or just balance the switch on your lap, or put it flat on the table? Not too siked about this game though, but schmups are not my genre anyway.

So, who picked this up in the end? I picked up RE:R2 first in the eshop sale and started playing this week. First impressions are okay, looks crisp in docked mode, haven't tried handheld yet. Motion controls also work well although IR reloading is a bit fiddly. Would like to try out Raid Mode in the near future, so if someone is up for some co-op let me know!

On another note, do you think they will still release 2 versions? I don't know why, but I have a feeling that since they are now shifting to the "home console" they will drop the 2 versions approach. It would also make sense, with online trading nullifying the effect of version exclusives.

I tried a couple of rounds but I just cannot cope with the touch controls. Especially after playing the PC version playing it on mobile feels watered down and handicapped. Still impressive though that you can play an online game with 100 players on a smart device.

Picked up Resident Evil: Revelations 2 and Kamiko in the sale. And that's all I will get I reckon.

Loved Tomb Raider, have yet to start Rise of the Tomb Raider. With my speed I am ready for Shadow of the Tomb Raider by the time it is 50% off on Steam.

Is it known what the controller update does? I think last time it made the wireless performance better, I wonder what it does now.

I hoped for but didn't expect a big overhaul. But it would be nice if they addressed basic options such as better eShop search functions (this is also in their own benefit). And I did expect the video capture to work for all games, don't know why they still limit it. Should be able to implement it in the OS without having to have a patch for each game?

That stage is very cool indeed! I hope they implement more changing areas/more interactive levels. Also nice how they color-coded the ink based on the side you choose, I never noticed they did before in a splatfest? Got some games in for team Chicken yesterday and today, liked playing the Splatfest again but come on, make these things last 48 hours.

So, if anyone needs a Battle Royale fix, H1Z1 is now free to play. Further, Fortnite will get a release on iOS and Android. So Switch version inbound as well?

Curious that they are skipping Partners In Time but immediately remake this one. On the other hand, this one is for 2019 so maybe they surprise drop a PiT remake somewhere in between.

Great great teaser! I traded in my 3DS version of Smash 4 quite fast and never played the WiiU version. At first I was thrilled to play Smash on the go, but the lack of decent single player and the stuttering online were dealbreakers. So I am game for jumping back into a new Smash game! And I can't be too bothered if it will be a Smash 4 DX for Switch or a Smash 5. In cas it is a 5 I really hope they use the Dojo again, was a great hype-medium for Brawl. As far as hopes and dreams go, I hope for: - Big singleplayer mode - Online actually playable with items and 4 people without insane lag - Less Fire Emblem characters - More 3rd party characters - Nintendo hosted online tournaments with special modes etc.

The game looks great indeed, but for some reason I am not a big fan of Mario Sports titles except for Kart (and Golf but never played that one). So I will probably skip this one, since at the moment I am already quite busy with Nintendo multiplayer games anyway.

Well, after seeing the Direct I am not really sure if I want the DLC, although it looks good and rather extensive. It did remind me that I should play Splatoon more, so that's what I did first.

So I checked what I got from the cards I already registered when getting them. 14 and 16 points, so that is a whopping 30 cents saved on 115 euros of games. Great deal! I did see this in the news letter however: Downloadcodes: 5% van de niet-gereduceerde Nintendo eShop-prijs van de content (translates as: 5% of non-reduced Nintendo eShop price of the content) So does this mean that if I use a downloadcode which I got in a discount or for free I still get "full" gold points?

I also received an email from Nintendo about the service going live. Yeah, not something to be that proud of. 1% for physical copies is hilarious.
