Tried to play tonight, got 3x player disconnect after the loading screen. Gave up, went to play Fortnite instead. I'll try again tomorrow.

Two free machines, hot damn! Downloading it now so I can give it a go tonight. So that is the fourth free-to-play pinball game (after FX3, Stern and The Pinball Arcade)? Plus I saw some more pinball games in the eShop, but they are just one machine (like Jurassic Pinball and Werewolf pinball). The only one I still play is FX3. Which reminds me, I should create a N-Europe tournament on there for the free machine!

I don't know, I really like the western Mega Drive take of our alternative cover. It does look like Japan has a more practical outer box though.

Aw man, had about 170 balloons stored from the event and I thought, I can redeem it this week (usually they have some extra days to redeem the points after an event has ended). Not this time though, gone are my balloons and my chance on those shiny wheels! This!

I think I'll be on early as well, then go barbecue and maybe return tonight. And tomorrow morning.

Haven't chosen yet, but seeing most people go Team Octo I'll join them. Agree with @Sméagol, Marina is the cooler one anyway! Of course we'll lose the fest, as the most popular choice always loses in the battles.

That eShop take-over is great! Never seen them do that before. Makes it all the more obvious how dull the Switch eShop is.

Quickly updated my game this morning to check it out, and yes he is there! As an alternative costume to the other Link. Didn't check the stats of the Master Cycle Zero yet, I wonder if they differ from the Master Cycle.

I also gave Galak-Z a quick go and was not impressed. The dialogue is corny, the controls are not that good, the first few levels all look the same and like you said, a bombardment of options.

I got the physical version yesterday. And yes, it is a bigger outer cover with a bit of a strange construction to fit the artbook in it. But I like it. The outer cardboard is holographic, the artbook looks great and the actual game case is normal sized but has a cool flippable cover with a Mega Drive one on the other side. You can easily find pictures of it online to judge if you dislike it, otherwise I can post some pictures tonight.

Got my copy ordered, so I hope it drops tomorrow! The cover and artwork kinda are the things that sold me. Otherwise I would have probably gone digital but hey, this looks great.

No, not really. It is good practice to get to know the weapons a little bit, you can find some tickets to spend at the food truck and finishing it gives you some new assets in Inkopolis Square. But you are not missing out much. On the other hand, you can complete it quite fast.

Good to see that we got the same issues with the controls! To quote from my review: So yeah exactly that. And it feels damn stupid to tap the touch screen , I kept grumbling at myself haha. Guess I need to get my old 3DS back and find myself a Circle Pad Pro to fully enjoy it!

Some nice treasures you got there @Hero-of-Time! You plan to play both versions or is the 3DS one only for collecting purposes? If you play them I'm curious to hear how you compare Switch Vs 3DS. And thanks @S.C.G for the visuals and posting. A lot of people say the 3DS one looks stunning and it is looking good on the system. But to be honest the Switch has kinda ruined it for me haha. It is okay with 2d titles, but games like Monster Hunter Ultimate and now Toad just don't look the part anymore. Crazy how 2 years ago it was amazing how great the 3DS looked, and now I'm like "meh".

So Gary/Red is out and replaced by a "friendly" rival? That is a bit lame.

Statement of Nintendo is: we didn't get many complaints about it but you can always contact our customer service. I checked mine, luckily no broken plastic yet. I do have screen scratching from the dock though. I have a screen protector on it so my screen is undamaged but the protector is really scratched. So I may go for a tempered glass one. For the casing issue I think it's always best to contact Nintendo, if only to make them aware of it and hope they recognise it as a problem and will fix it for free under warranty.

I also played the demo yesterday, and man I forgot how much I enjoyed WarioWare! I think I have only played Mega Microgame$ and Touched!, but the GOLD demo immediately got me into that same vibe. Voiced Wario is awesome, and the weirdness of the minigames is still there. I wonder if I'll get it (depends a bit on the price and I still have a bit of a backlog), but it's good this series is getting some love still. If I get it I think I need to get a screen protector on my 3DS, as Touched! really did a part on my DS screen (luckily that also had a screenprotector!).

I must say I'm intrigued by this, with Monster Hunter and Metal Slug being two of my favourite series. I'm a bit worried though about the online aspect and already the rooms being so empty. Does this hold up as a single player as well?
