Hmmm, got a feeling my PS3 might be on its way out soon. Its had trouble turning off a few times this week and had to check and restore the file system.

Apparently the technic pack can be made to work on multiplayer but it doesn't matter now anyway, I had to uninstall it anyway after the laggyness returned. Shame as well as there were some good mods in that. Once again I'll just have to wait until I can get a new PC.

Yes but with a few of the missions you are just thrown in with no phonecall or anything. It was actually mentioned on the Zero Punctuation review as well this week. It didnt happen with all the missions, I just remember thinking it a couple of times.

Once your save game reaches around 7 megs you start to get framerate issues. Sometimes its only a little bit but if you have the big save file and then have a long play session it can get pretty bad. I havent actually tried my game since the update so I dont know how well its fixed things. I would say though that you probably wouldnt experience the problem as I expect a proper fix will be out by the time you get to a 7 meg save.

Ive found Gamestations deliveries usually do take a while, sometimes around a week. I only really use them these days for good deals or when I want to use points from my loyalty card.

Well no I wasn't really expecting much from the story but as someone who tends to hold story over most other aspects of games I guess I just missed it. The game has got such high praise that I was probably just looking for more of a reason why I just liked instead of loved it. Still though, I do think more work should have been done to connect events or explain why you are doing certain missions. I can't actually think of an example from the game off the top of my head. I just remember wondering a few times why I was doing things or what got me to this place.

Just completed the game. I enjoyed it but I think story was sacrificed a bit too much for wackiness personally. Too many times missions were too short or didnt even have a lead in. The only thing I would want GTA to take from this would be the way the cars drive. What ending did people go for by the way?

Ok then everyone, looks like the server is back up and running! Its gonna be weird playing this on the server with the Technic pack installed now, ive got loads of animals around everywhere which you guys wont be seeing.

I'm still amazed that my eyesight is as good as it is with the amount of time I've spent infront of a PC screen in my life. I always figured if I did need them then I'd stick with glasses. Don't think I could be bothered with messing about with contacts.

Sorry yeah I wasnt disagreeing with you, just explaining my own comment really. I myself had read Moogles original post as going too far as well.

Only times ive ever heard about contacts rolling behind your eyes have been while watching tv shows so ive never really know how much truth there is to that.

My comment on people being a bit dickish and going too far was because Retro had kind of carried it on with a comment he made but I assume he realised how it came across and edited it.

I check the net way too often. Even when im doing something else like playing a game i'll just lean over and press F5 to see if anyone has posted anything new. Saying that though, thats only when im at home. I rarely check the internet on my phone while im out and if im away from home for any length of time I dont feel any need to check up on stuff.

Ive given it a try. Unfortunately Industrialcraft isnt in this version as it hasnt been updated yet but I expect it'll be back in the next one. Ive just given it a try, I have to lower my settings down to the lowest ones even with Optifine but its runnable for me. I had forgotten it comes with Mo Creatures so was pretty suprised when a tiger attacked me as I was exploring! Theres so much new stuff though in this pack with all the pipes, alchemy and different ores etc that im gonna have to spend quite a while reading up on everything and watching some tutorial videos!
