Thanks Shorty, I did mean to reply with those. There are also two posts on Reddit, one which is backing up Notch and another is more on the Yogscast's side. Both are from people who were working at Minecon (I'll try and find them later) Personally I think it's probably been blown a bit out of proportion. I think some of the things Notch is talking about were supposed to have been said sarcastically in an interview. The Yogscast guys have said they'll post a proper reply once they get back to the UK anyway.

I think I remember the Giant Bomb guys talking about that and how it just doesnt work very well at all. Looking at the customer reviews it doesnt seem to be getting good feedback either.

Anyone else been reading Notch's tweets? He is really not happy with the Yogscast guys for their attitude and actions at Minecon.

None of them are canon though. We dont really get canon trek books. Closest would be the season 8 DS9 ones and even those arent really.

Its hard to say really. I can watch and enjoy it but some people absolutely hate it. Maybe just try the pilot episode and see what you think.

That Homecoming? If so its a pretty good read but is the first of a two parter.

Had a look at an FAQ earlier and im about half way through the main quest it looks like, im a bit suprised actually as it feels like ive barely done anything towards it and a lot more on side quests. How many hours and what level are people up to so far then? Im level 17 at the moment and just about to hit 30 hours playtime.

Yeah ive seen all the cancelled books, I had wondered if it was because they were gearing up for something but I think its more likely that they're just having a bit of a clearout of the poorly selling titles. As for the $3.99 price, I dont think they'd keep doing it if it wasnt making them money and they are a business so if its working for them then of course they will keep it. I may not like it but I do understand it.

Well to be fair I'm not suprised the features are being listed under the 1.00 release see as the 1.9 stuff was never properly released as updates

Game just scared the crap out of me, id forgotten new sounds had been added and when my pickaxe broke it sounded like I was being shot by an arrow. It seems to run a bit better on my PC, lot less lag. Still looking forward to Optifine and the other mods being updated though.

I actually managed to download the update really easily and straight away. Just starting a new world now.

Yeah ive given up watching the stream, just waiting for twitter to tell me that the full versions out now

You should get the Technic Pack the Yogcast guys have been putting together, thats got Buildcraft and Industrialcraft along with a couple of others I think that all work well together.
