But once again thats the whole point. We all joined here because we were Nintendo fans so despite our current feelings on them, its very likely that we will still be interested in talking about them whereas others might not want to talk about the other consoles. The complaint has never been that we have to put up with people who like Nintendo. Loads of people here still love Nintendo and have proper discussions just fine. The problem here is the fact that there are people who feel the need to "defend" Nintendo against any negative comments and it always devolves into an argument.

I think the story could have used more of a build up. I felt like I was dropped in way too quickly to this new situation and I think its why I'm finding it a bit harder than in previous games to get into the story.

Only played the first level last night so this is obviously a very early opinion on the game but despite its gorgeous design, it felt very lifeless. I'm hoping that it's just the early levels and it gets better but I think first impressions in games mean something and this was just a bit "meh".

Thankfully they've apologised for that second 15gb patch and said it wont happen again. Apparently the actual patch was only 500 megs but they decided to stick it in the original day one patch and make everyone download the entire thing again!

Yeah Clownferret I'd like to see some examples as a lot of the stuff I've seen from you tends to be very single minded in your opinion of something and if it is explained to be something else, you disappear from the conversation entirely then pop up a few weeks later claiming the same thing again. One example being when you went on and on about Sony copying off tv play from Nintendo and when people explained that the PSP had done it for years you were nowhere to be found. EDIT: I think I veered off there into some of my own issues with Clownferret rather than the actual point lol

Need to remember to plug in my Wii U this weekend and download any updates that are waiting if I'm gonna play Yoshi's Woolly World once im done with Batman. My Dreamcast took over that particular plug last week to play Shenmue!

I didnt ask you why you talk about AAA games at all. I asked why you feel you have to defend Nintendo instead of having a conversation. If you just replied in a well thought out manner then we would get a back and forth conversation going instead of it going straight down the shitter.

I dont know if you are just purposefully trolling or dont bother to check what games other consoles actually have so just assume its all COD and Assassins Creed. Because to be fair, when you talk about this stuff its nearly always about the yearly franchises.

And I'm sorry, but your apologies mean very little. You do this all the time and has been mentioned, stuff with Wii you apologise and claim you will hold back on replying and then the next day it starts all over again. This is why I call for you to be banned, because you dont learn.

You brought it up when I said how gorgeous the Wii U screenshots you posted were but I could see how someone could complain at the lack of variety. Not everything has to be compared to another console, especially when I didnt mention it in my post. People (like myself) get annoyed because instead of just discussing with me why you think there actually is variety, you went straight on the defensive and pointed the finger elsewhere.

I think at this point if we are naming the people who are causing trouble, you guys should be naming the ones who you claim are too negative. Stuff will never get out in the open otherwise.

Looking back at that post, people replied to you because once again you talked about the other consoles like they were just the annual franchises, not because there was only one game you liked.

To be honest if the forums took on an idea like that where you couldnt post in a thread if you didnt own the game/console then I would most likely just leave. If we reached that point where there were requirements to have an opinion then I wouldnt want to be here anyway.

Its not the fact that they defend Nintendo, its how they do it and the way they speak to people. Loads of people defend Nintendo on here and have no problems. Nando for example is someone I see posting that kind of stuff and how he doesnt find all that much interesting about the other consoles and you never see people jump down his throat, because he posts normally. And before anyone jumps down my throat, yes I know it happens on both sides. We all know Sheikah will argue for far too long :p
