Happenstance

My school is just starting to look at putting some staff on the 80% furlough. Basically anyone who can't do their jobs from home. I'm probably teetering on the edge at the moment as I can work from home but other than IT assistance (which the main IT guy should be doing) a lot of my work will be waiting until we actually know a date for the school reopening. It won't be a massive issue if I'm one of the ones who gets put on 80% though. I'm just glad my school is actively planning that. I know a lot of places it just seems to be up in the air.

I’m just making my way through the first part now. Heartbreaking watching Chavo talking about finding Eddie.

Definitely noticing a lot more scam emails and account access attempts since this pandemic started (someone managed to change my Netflix email earlier this week). Finally got me to add 2 factor authentication to more accounts. Might be worthwhile for anyone else who was a bit more lax on that stuff.

It’d be nice if you place a crafting table in your home then it could access your storage. I finally had to move all my crafting materials into storage as I was sick of having no pocket space so it would have been nice to not have to get the bits I need out every time.

I never managed to get into P5 when I played the original but I figured that P5 Royal was coming out at the perfect time to keep me engaged. I did originally have the physical version preordered but I switched to the digital one just to guarantee that I got it (managed to get a discounted top up card so didn't have to pay the overpriced digital fee).

I ended up selling mine yesterday for 140 bells each then buried the profits this morning into the glowing spot. Hopefully it’ll take.

Give me a chance to go through the basics again then I might just take you up on that.

This should be an interesting watch given how little it’s been talked about over the years.

I’m gonna try and make a positive out of being stuck at home for a while now and get back to learning Japanese. Hopefully all of this will force me to stick with it.

I've found Imgur has issues when copying while on mobile then onto this site. It'll show as working and load the image but then when you post it doesn't show so I'd recommend staying clear unless you can access the desktop site to get full links.

That's why it's always been a game I play along with something else. I check-in with AC daily but not for that long and then play other stuff for my main gaming.

Unfortunately I think this is also why you will drop off a lot quicker than the rest of us

Other than the daily nook mile stuff I'm not aiming for any other milestones. I'll just play at my own pace and get them when I get them.

Ok that’s the store being built and my new house upgrade paid for. Think that’ll do for the day. I really need a second game to play along with Animal Crossing but there’s no point getting one before Persona 5 Royal and FFVII Remake come out.

Also, having to craft the crappy version of tools to then make the newer one made sense the first time but they really could have streamlined it after that.

I get having to use the ladder to climb up cliffs but I think they could have allowed you to just drop down again. Such a hassle having to switch tools. I guess it’s to incentivise the endgame terrain stuff even more.

Did they ever carry on the rule from the very first Animal Crossing where to unlock the last tier of the shop you had to have visited someone else’s town and bought from their shop? I played all the other games (apart from City) but can’t remember.

I guess that would make it a bit easy to collect all the different types of fruit.
