  1. Off the top of my head the only western dev that Nintendo has is Retro, I think there are more I just can't think of them. So Factor-5 would be an excellent investment, one flop does not make a team bad. Besides I've heard the occasionally good thing about Lair. I also think that Factor-5 could put The Conduit to shame if they wanted too. Rouge Squadron II was a launch title and is still one of the best looking games of Last Gen, which is kinda rare really.
  2. Ya, I don't think he'd fit in the movies, but he's still a fav of mine so I'll push for him to be in their movies.
  3. wipe yer dong out, that's sure to scare them. Plus everyone needs a good public indecenty on their record.
  4. It's fine if you prefer Chrome, but I wouldn't suggest making a decision without weighing the other options, which you have. Also, the FF add-on should be removable, I don't have any extra toolbars myself for anything.
  5. X-Men movies still need more Gambit.

    Fallout 3

You read correctly. Starting in January they will release the Anchorage simulation DLC, it similates the Battle of Anchorage. February they will release The Pitt, which allows us to travel to Pittsburg for some interesting raider battles. I think the Level cap may be here, but I'm not sure. March marks the release of Broken Steel, which will allow us to join the Brotherhood of Steel and continue past the Mainstory lines previous "ending". If the level cap doesn't go up in The Pitt it will here.
  7. Please tell me Chrome isn't the only browser you've tried besides IE.

    Fallout 3

Well, that isn't just a patch it's a large chunk of DLC allowing for more quests and baddies to kill to help further your level.
  9. Opera 10.1 Alpha right here. 9.63 is the latest "stable" release though, not that I've had any trouble with 10.
  10. It was supper, so I had to make a good choice.
  11. I bought some beef jerky.... Also, I got a really nice warm coat for %60 off. This one
  12. I love that film, I can recite damn near every line while watching it. Abit harder doing just off the top of my head though.
  13. Yes. Even something not even intensive CPU or GPU would run slowly in those days. A simple word program, of course it was the norm but faster was/is nicer. Next paper you have to write or use the internet, get a machine from early 90's and use that the entire time. PCs from 99/00 are painfully slow now too.
  14. Is it....fun, to pack the fudge? Ya gotta imagine it as Christopher Walken asking, in his usual slow way.
  15. Actually, I think that if the show hadn't been cancelled at the last minute, they could have done so much more with the ending. Same goes for Firefly/Serenity.
  16. No doubt if all you do is browse the web, watch the occasional youtube vid, maybe type up a paper. A good single core will suit you, unfortunately companies have moved away from SCs so getting a single would probably be less efficent than a DC, and besides OSs are getting more complex. At some point windows will complete the switch to 64bit and you won't have the option of 32bit. So an ancient single-core won't help you if you want to upgrade.
  17. Are you doing intensive Media Encoding? That's where more helps, a quad greatly reduces the time required to do whatever process. Eventually games too will be optimized for more than Dual-Core some already are, but not many. Besides, even before Dual-Cores there were servers running many cores all at once, generally by multiple single-cores in parallel(I think parallel is the right word for it...)
  18. iirc CPU fabs are already approaching being to small for silicon. I think 2 more die shrinks are possible. As for 4ghz, there is no need. Going that high causes power/heat efficiency to go to pot. That's what Intel found out, I did a paper on this Intel themselves said that higher clock speeds are not the direction to head, more cores and more threads are the way to go. Dual-cores are already on their way out, Intel has released Core i7, which I think is only quads, all with hyperthreading allowing for 2 threads per-core, essentially acting like 8 cores. AMD is working on Phenom II, which will be sets of Tri, Quad, and Sext(I think....it's a 6 core cpu)-cores. They are now introducing Phenom Dual-cores which are really just Phenom quads with two redundant cores, this is possibly to help curb losses. Most users only need 2.5-3Ghz per core, Core i7 low-end is 2.66 I think and goes up to 2.99 or 3.2 for high end. Phenom IIs will start at 3 and 3.2 iirc. Enthusiasts that want to can and will OC to 4Ghz and beyond though. Apparently Phenom II can goto 4Ghz on air cooling(AMD numbers....) Core i7 can but has high temps.
  19. I like Depp and thinks he's a good actor, but I never knew he had a horrible fan group.
  20. Of course it's been 4 years since FP, FR started work on Haze. If the whole of a company is working on Haze except for a few guys, you can't expect too much info on their other IPs. We did get 2 teasers to go along with the art work, and 1 poll. That poll alone is probably a good tell of peoples interest in the game.
  21. Maneuver....that's how I spell maneuver...no "o".
  22. Another check mark for today.
  23. Personally I blame schools for poor spelling, I use Opera without any sort of Spell Checker...er well I did, I'm using their Alpha for 10.0 which finally adds a spell checker, but I digress. I can spell just fine without my browser telling me otherwise 99% of the time, the real problem is typos that I have to correct. Hmm looking back that sentence is odd... I spell fine 99% of the time is what it's getting at though. Anywho......I really don't have anything to add. I bought a nice coat yesterday.
