  1. Haven't listened to Xtina's/would rather die than do so. Don't really enjoy Air (massively overrated I feel). My Bloody Valentine always stun when I manage to hear them / that's all irrelevant, because Radiohead is a song I'm actively stunned by. In Rainbows is one of my fave albums. I'm dead by the end of this track.
  2. Action Comics #1 looks like the best thing I've seen.
  3. This isn't about tuition fees. It's about the marketisation of education.
  4. Can someone explain why there's about 7 different Batman books in the DC reboot? And why/how is Grant Morisson's run continuing?
  5. Stunned by Superboy/Supergirl/Blue Beetle. Superman reminds me of... but then, I'm ready for a reboot, and doing interesting things with the character, now they've been brainstorming for the past 60 years. ---- I wish Liefeld would die. ----- Sgt. Rock and the Men of War #1 Stunned.
  6. Was outside the Sheldonian clapping the fellows as they came out -- fantastic moment -- "I Wanna Dance With Somebody"/[That famous song that's really optimistic but I forget the name] booming from a sound system. 283 to 5. A landslide "No, this is bullshit" resounding from people who actually know what they're talking about, rather than the Tories, who are only interesting in keeping the rich rich. Cambridge will probably follow suit soon, as well as many other unis. I love that the last time this thing was done in Oxford was to reject Maragaret Thatcher's honorary degree. The sentiment was pretty much "What the fuck is this shit? Why would we give old bag a degree?"
  7. TBF, I have no qualms with shoplifting from Tescos / massive chain shops. The only people it hinders are the CEOs who are sitting on million pound yachts. Never done it mind you, mostly because occasion has never presented itself. In fact, I think if everyone in the country simultaneously walked out of Tescos with a trolleyload of shit without paying, it'd do a lot of good. I have no qualms DLing Hollywood films. But then make it my business to go and see fringe/alternative stuff in the cinema.
  8. I'm proud of my play this game. Genuinely surprised I lived till the end, especially after my power was revealed so early. Pulled off various survival techniques, and did the "accuse every town member in sight to save your own skin" thing to a tee.
  9. Although, I do think if there's scenes of him wrapping barbed wire round his cock and raping someone there needs something more than a casual 18+ sign. Like a warning on the DVD disc or something.
  10. Maybe they'll write them well / not annoying this time round? I question all the time why there seems to be so few comic book writers that can actually write well. Like... surely DC and Marvel should be able to afford to employ the best of the best writers? Why isn't every comic Morisson-calibur?
  11. They shouldn't sensor this, just sell it with a visible "WARNING: CONTAINS THEMES WHICH WILL OFFEND" written on it. As mentioned, censoring it just means it will be pirated.
  12. I'll lend my hand. Vote: The Peeps
  13. I didn't target anyone, because frankly, I don't trust anyone enough to be sure they aren't mafia. A double kill would lose the game for the town.
  14. Uh what? Why would I lead a massive charge on Smeagol if I were mafia? Why would I double ReZ?
  15. Yeah, I kinda hate that scratchy art. So unnecessary, when you could just do a cover like Swamp Thing, and everyone would mildly enjoy.
  16. Rainbow was my best.
  17. She needs a flop, I think, to come back with something showstopping. Something Believe-esque. Creates its own noise.
  18. Is Grant Morisson writing anything for/after the DC reboot? He's still my favourite comic book character [in terms of who I fancy], so you just have to deal with these things.
  19. I'm so in the mood to become a big DC reader when it reboots. Mostly because I'm so stunned by the covers of so many of these. Animal Man #1 is my favourite thing to look at.
  20. Lady GaGa. It's my [second/third] favourite from Born This Way. I think its a really vital, exciting pop song. Like... by no means earth shattering, but I'm so stunned by its existence; its so evolvéd -- you question how it came to be in its presented form, you feel there's a history, like she obviously tinkered with the demo tape for ages. I love the aggressiveness of the drum beat in the chorus too, it bangs *at* you. And it's really satisfying to dance to (see the video), especially the bit that demands you do the shimmy/sway, whilst clicking your fingers. The others are good, they are fine [/Rihanna], but leave me with so little, where Judas feels like an event. As though there's an episode in the Femme Fatales TV show concerning its existence.
  21. To be fair, it has more wealth (in every connotation of the word) than the rest of England put together, so it could be a country.
  22. (Orange Wednesdays are good value / not when you go to see Something Borrowed / it was jokes)
  23. 2. Pascal's Rule
  24. Yeah, best way is to a lot of good carbs then do loads of exercise.
  25. I enhance ReZ a lot because I trust him more than others.
