FFX is great. You just don't understand man, you just don't understand! WW > MM imo, I loved it, Majora's Mask was great, but WW I think was a perfect game during my childhood years to play. MM I played more recently and I just if I had played MM first it may have been different. And Portal is a full game, it has a start, a middle and an end...or does it end?

I actually think the last few are good choices! Melee > Brawl IMO. FFX and Kingdom Hearts 2 to get through against FFIX and Zelda: TP respectively.

That's the game. I love Dynasty Warriors and I liked the anime series of Gundam Wing so it has always looked interesting. Does it play well like Dynasty Warriors?

I've become a bit more like you Jay. I rarely purchase release day items because I'm still playing other games so I've decided to wait for them to become a bit cheaper. I'm looking at purchasing Bayonetta and Gundam Warriors 2 which I think are now both under a tenner. I've played bayonetta before but would like to play it again. Definitely a great game and the warriors should just be a bit of a fun beat-em up. But if you find any really good bargains you'd recommend, definitely post them in here Jay, I'll look out for Darksiders and prototype!
