I just had to go on a long video youtube rant on this news http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=ese5keZiV2I honestly that 3rd comment is just ridiculous "What kind of message are we sending as parents when we buy these things for our kids."" WTF is that guy smoking??? And ironicly talks about the Wii being irresponsible in his previous sentence???

Did anyone here ever go there? Wonder what changes they'll be making... you think it might have something to do with finally giving us Stars to Points conversion.... No? Yeah your prolly right....lying lazy evil Nintendo.... yet we still love them... confusing?

erm... what glitch are you talking about?

I got it on friday, pretty cool, i love the bit of fan-service on the first boss, that was class. Some of the dialogue is a bit funny but not great in a lot of cases. The whole 2d/3d is awesome. Finished Chapter 3, just need to find the pillar now... whats up with the dialogue between levels, first time it happened i thouht it was peach after falling from Blechs castles, but then after chatper 2 i realized its not... found the pit of 100 trails but haven't gone in yet, will prolly do another chapter or 2 first... How long does it take to do the Pit?

Oh deadly i didn't realise they changed the shows... they started repeating Elfen Lied when that finished so i stop watching thinking everything would repeat. I'll have to check out Bleach (ashamed to admit i haven't seen that yet), i've seen FMA when it was on Rapture, i loved it (though i'm sure you could guess that... *cough*avatar*cough* I'm assuming that's the 1st Gig (season) of GITS:SAC which i have the boxset on DVD (awesome)... still need to get the 2nd gig, Vision of Escaflowne i remember was on Fox Kids (now Jetix) years ago... though i bet that was a cut version, so this is most likely uncut and it's been ages since i've seen it, i'll have to give it a view again as i do remember really enjoying it.

Wasn't Mario Picross featured on Gametrailers, Top 10 WORST Mario games? I'm gonna get some points today and get Lost Levels... Just wish NoE would get their heads out of their asses and give us teh Stars to Points conversion already. -
Not just that but he also stated that "we" (as in him and his "unnamed" company) have her and are using her to get to Leon (which was either in the report or the RE3 epilogue) ... which of course begs the frackin question why she wasn't invovled in RE4 or why Leon made no bloody mention of her, after all he was looking after her while Claire went looking for Chris, and he let Wesker take her... what does he do then? Try to get her back? No he goes a get a fracking job with the US government.... WTF Capcom, try to keep these things consistant.

Haha, well i remember i used to spend hours upon hours piecing story aspects together and coming up with my own theories on what was going on. I used to be able to remember every file in every (main) game, and play through them IN MY HEAD. I once worked out some good theory on how i thought Billy was actually working (or on his way to start working) with Umbrella, a lot of it was speculative but i could use a number of events/files to help back up my theories. I had it all writen down in a word file once, but i lost that file when my the harddrive on my old laptop got wiped... my memory on all things RE isn't so great anymore but i guess if i had the time i could replay some games and remember what i worked out. I would really love it if in RE:UC my theories ended up proved true... and hopefully in the new chapter in UC they also give some explanation for where the hell Rebecca has been since the mansion incident. Oh man that part with the slide projector near the end was fracking legendary, you're going through them and get to the last one and it's like, HOLY CRAP, "Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing?" Well to be more specific, it should be "Wesker USED to work for them" After the events of RE1 he left Umbrella to work with a competitor company... who have never been officailly named, in Code Veronica in one of the mini games you get to play as Wesker and on his back is some intials, (can't remember what they were, damn) people think these are the initials of his new company. Yet for some really weird reason, come the events of RE4 and Wesker wants to rebuild Umbrella, dispite having worked fairly hard to help take them down???????

Oh really i'll have to check that out, while i have decided that I will get a 360 when RE5 comes out, I have not really been reading much about it, as i just have this niggling feeling what we've been shown so far is actually RE4.5 I know, why create so much mythology but not wrap it up propperly if you wanna do something else? One of the main reasons I love RE is the story, I don't even consider RE4 an RE game, it's just lucky for Capcom that it just happens to be a great game weather it be RE or not. I always had these visons on Ozwell being this really old man on his death bed but is using Umbrellas research to stay alive, in the end mutating into the most powerful and ugly and awesome beast ever. I'd say with Chris in RE5 chances are good she will too.
-
I gonna make an excuse and say it's cuz Shinji Mikami no longer working on RE games since the Capcom board went behind his back and had a PS2 version of RE4 made, and now whoevers working on RE:UC must have no idea what the hell SHOULD be covered in a game that is meant to tie up loose ends
-
Goddamnit why the hell is there no RE2 section, how is this meant to be the Umbrella Chronicles when they fracking leave out one of the most important chapters in the Umbrella story, i was hoping to learn more about the G-Virus, maybe even learn a bit more about Ada and her motives and actually something to let us know what the hell is up with Sherry (which they should have bloody done with RE4 but I have a feeling that story is lost with RE3.5) EDIT: Hold up a second... ok i'm all for new characters but if they are gonna do a chapter that gives us the final downfall of Umbrella and have the "Umbrella Leader" in it, why the frack is this not Ozwell Spencer, he's meant to be the head of Umbrella the top bad guy who's only mentioned in files, he's the guy I wanna see, he's the guy I wanna beat down
-
i still come back to this game when i need a quick game session, i still haven't gotten all s ranks on mirror mode yet... but i will someday... yes someday
-
Yeah, you usually get to the "cutting point" after you've drained them for the 3rd time, so when i got them drained twice i used HT and tried to get the vitals up as high as possible first, as the vitals drop like 30 points when you get to "cutting point". Once you get one pair out quickly take care of tumors and the second pair should be easy once you keep the vitals up. You can be very unlucky as the movements are random so you could end up with same colour guilt touching each other a lot and causing a massive amount of tumors which will kill ya. I didn't have that problem with Styles (did his first time) but it happened a lot with Naomi, though after a good load of tries i did it. Beat X-3 with both already (thought being the guilt that it is, Stlyes' HT makes it way easy... but of course again Naomi's is kinda hard. Stuck on X-4 now though....grrrrrr

YES Just beat the X1 level for both doctors. Was easy once you come up with the right strategy
-
Aren't they meant to be using this game as a way to fill some gaps in what happened to Umbrella and bring all the "Umbrella Story-arc games" together... and to help bring the Wii's "new-gamers" market upto speed with the RE story should any of them get the game. how the hell can they do that without using RE2... it wouldn't make sense
-
Same here first one is killing me too... how many X missions are there. Manit's a tough SOB, the patient takes so much damage it's damned hard to keep the vitals up and kill the guilt at the same time
-
Ah i think that's the first mission with the triti(sp?) guilt The one with the triangles and spikes? Whatever difficulty level your on there is one easy way to beat it and beat it fast.... that is, use your Healing Touch right away to slow down time, take out all the spikes and then remove the triangles... you still gotta be fast though, remember time won't be slowed forever, and try not to make any mistakes when taking out the spikes. You can do it without using the HT, but it is of course hard and you need to be fast and know what your doing. I always start at the top, remove the first two rows of spikes then remove as many triangles in the row as you can before the spikes grow back. If a triangle multiplies lower on screen don't worry. If you can manage to just keep repeating, removing all spikes on the top two rows and getting the triangles they can only multiply downwards, and if there's no space they can't multiply. Prolly didn't explain it right, but it's kinda hard to type in words

Well if you remember when Pokemon Link was coming out they went and put the Wi-Fi symbol on promotional boxart even though it wasn't online. So perhaps best to wait for it to be actually announced before celebrating
-
I might pick this up, never played a Paper Mario (RPG) game before, was gonna get the Thousand Year Door on the GC but ended up getting Tales of Symphonia (a descision i of course never regret) but i really feel like i need something new to help fill the gap until Metroid Prime at the end of October

Gamecube games you thought would be good
Mokong replied to mcj metroid's topic in General Gaming Discussion
WHAT THE HELL? :shakehead Ah well each to his own... though i surprised by he number of people saying Metroid Prime. For me my dissapointments were Starfox Adventures nur said Zelda: Wind Waker Too much seas/sailing equals boredom, it might have been massive but didn't come anywhere near the feeling of exploring land. And the triforce hunt at the end, talk about padding a game out. I know people say TP's ending seemed a bit lack luster but it was way better than that. Donkey Konga Great when you first get it.... then the enjoyment slowly starts to fade away EDIT Oh and Mario Kart Double Dash hahaha, i was literly so let down by this game i almost forgot it exsisted -
HAHAHAHAHA, i finally did it, i beat the "Fallen Heroes" level on normal mode.. AT LAST, the 3rd patient with defteria(sp?) always destroyed me. I went back to start of the game and went through all the levels on Hard mode, got as far as the level before "Fallen Heroes", changed back to normal and did "Fallen Heroes", it took me 3 tries, but even on the first try i could tell i was doing way better than before. Also went and beat the next level too (about 5 tries)

There is one perfect way to deal with the Leech Zombies.... I RUN LIKE HELL.... those things are scarier than Hunters, Iron Maidens and Lickers combined

It won't be as great as the Wii, simply because you need a different controller for each game, and chances are you won't see many future games using many if them. Unlike the Wii where the one controller can do all that AND more
