GOt the game on Friday....bloody Gamestop charged 65euro for the game ON ITS OWN, grrrrr....will have to start shopping around, they likely upping WiiU game prices with fewer WiiU owners to sell to Also got an amiibo...got Link of course, still not sure what to make of it? I think I could create a custom character to play as and bring to friends houses, but turns out it's a CPU controlled character? If I were able to bring it to another Wii U would I then be able to control it? Still no internet in the new house so haven't played online yet Also was surprised by the number of characters available when you first play the game, was getting worried they were all unlocked from the go but then unlocked one character so far, phew. Without telling me who, how many characters are there to unlock and whats the best mode(s) to be playing to unlock characters?

I think confirming a different actor for Flash for the movies also solidifies that DC are keeping the TV and Movies seperate and also gaurantees that if/when they introduce Green Arrow to the movies it won't be Amell playing him either I was thinking that too, like how stupid is she, she had Flash standing in front of her going "Stop writing about me, you could put yourself in danger, do you hear me" and she replies "I have selective hearing" or something along those lines. Then surprise surprise a bag buy shows up at her work With how well Marvel have and continue to incorporate Agents of SHIELD into their universe surprised DC didn't follow suit, especially with how popular Arrow is. All they had to do was after Man of Steel came out have an episode of Arrow with a news report in the background talking about the "events in Metropolis" and job done. Though I have a feeling DC might not have a fully thought out plan as much as Marvel have. Marvel seem to have there "Phase arcs" fairly thought out with a begining and end to each Phase and Agents of SHIELD is like an extenstion of their movie stories. Where with DC I'm a little worried about how much of it is planned out, jumping from Man of Steel to Batman vs Superman is a massive jump espeically since this will be the first we've seen of this Batman and yet it's a older Batman, while there was a Wayne Enterprises logo in Man of Steel there was no mention/hint of Batman. Even a small newspaper front page about some crime he stopped in Gotham would have been enough. Throughout Man of Steel there was no indication of other heroes yet in the next film we suddenly get Batman, Wonderwoman and a cameo of Aquaman? Granted you could have said the same about Iron Man 1 but the after credits scene in that did a great job and setting up what was to come. hhhmmm....slight off topic.....back to The Flash

I think 1st Climax, 2nd Climax and 3rd Climax are equivelent to Very Easy, Easy, Normal. I've been playing the whole game on 3rd Climax... does still feel a bit easier than Bayo1 but only because they fixed some things and added others, such as in Bayo2 you now are no longer punished when getting hit with the loss of built up magic power, that annoyed the hell out of me in Bayo1, and the ability to do Climax moves as an alt to torture attacks when your magic bar is full is a welcome addition OMG, I didn't even cop that, that is an awesome little nod there, well spotted Red

I think I'm almost finished Bayo2, the next chapter is likely the last or 2nd last by how things have been going in recent chapters, don't want it to end. Keep going back to replay previous levels (mainly to horde some halo's). Love also that countinuing from Bayo1 there's still little nods to other games.

Platinum also seem to put a lot of effort in on their credits Wonderfull 101 and Bayonetta had good credits with playable sections, not finished Bayonetta 2 yet but I expect more of the same when I get there

Amoleo Went back into the shops after work to look again at the cheaper options and out of impulse (and to stop driving myself mad if I dragged this out too long) ordered the 49inch LG 4K Even got the guy to give me a little discount, he knocked off 30euro for me, every little helps I'm a little afraid to look at my bank balance now though, but I'm planning to work some overtime from now to the end of the year to try crawl it back (doing an extra hour everyday this week already)....TV will be arriving on Thursday

We finally got our own house, kinda, got accepted for a council house so not 100% "ours" still renting but rent is dirt cheap Got electricity and gas sorted yesterday and been all over all sorts of shops looking for flooring (getting put down Wednesday), furnature, fridge, cooker etc, beds, TV's (that's every bit of savings I ever had gone ) Early today started thinking I need to get a phoneline and broadband sorted, brought up an old landline I had and plugged it into wall to see if there was an active line, it was, sorted, rang my own mobile number so I could find out what the number of the landline was, got it. Took that number and stuck it into the Eircom website to see about getting their Fibre and then it comes up "Sorry Fibre not availble in this area"....WTF???? if you look at the town on the map it says "Yeah this town has Fibre" it fails to mention that there may be some places without it The product available in the area is "up to 24MB" which means I'll likely get about 8-9MB Ah well better than nothing and I survived fine on that kind of speed before last year. Hopefully they'll have extended the fibre up to the new place soon. #firstworldproblems But other than that little bump in the road can't wait to have the house sorted and moved in Met the neighbours today too, by a stroke of coincedence on one side is one of my sons classmates in playschool

Ok so I am in the market for a new TV And thinking should I spend the extra money to future proof things a bit and splash on a 4K TV? Narrowed my choices to either Samsung or LG brands On the LG side I've priced a 49inch 4K telly with passive 3D, at 1299euro I could go up to 55inch for 1699.....but that a bit much of a jump. I'm also liking the look of the curved Samsungs. But to get in 4K puts in the price up, "smallest" 4K Samsung curve I could find was 1849euro, 55inch I could drop the size to 48inch keep the stylish curve and prices goes to 1399 but it "only" 1080p But the picture looks just as good as the flat 4K LG Or with on the reverse on the Samsung side I could go for a 55inch 4K flat for 1349 Or I could keep the wife a bit happier and save a fair bit of cash if I went for say an LG, dropped the 4K to 1080p at a 49inch size and that is only 749? And it still has the awesome looking passive 3D! So overall N-E is it worth spending the extra money to go for a 4K Ultra HD TV? And is the curve just for show or in the long run would I get visual benifit. Keep in mind I currently only have a Wii U so gaming wise, would my Wii U benifit much from being upscaled to 4K or having Curve? #firstworldproblems

Thought it a bit odd that Germany only beat Gibraltar 4-0 tonight too...would have expected them to hit more than that. Group blown wide open again. Poland on top with 10 points and Germany, Scotland and Ireland joint 2nd on 7points each.

Was the lack of clevage in Bayonetta's default costume the reason for Bayo2 getting a 16 age rating where Bayo1 got 18's? Was expecting when finishing up Bayo1 that maybe Nintendo made Platinum drop the use of teh F-bomb in dialogue but 8 chapters in and I think the f-bomb has been used even more so so far in Bayo2

Loving Bayo2 even more than 1, level design (so far up to chapter 5) is so much better, especially the very first proper Chapter 1. So much bigger than the levels of Bayo1 and just encouraged exploration. Was easy to miss secret areas in Bayo1 as the levels seemed to encourage you to move forward and sometimes you'd have to go back after a verse to find a portal. in 2 areas feel open and appear to have choices, even though the "way forward" is set it feels much freer to explore. In the first Chapter in Naotun I found all the portals and about 8 Heart pieces I think, I didn't find my first heart piece n Bayo1 till like Chapter 5 I think :p

Season 3 Episode 5 Ep itself, awesome, some great scenes for Felicity. Ending cliffhanger......HOLY FRAKKING SHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they release the NEW 3DS alongside this in a special edition version with the rest of the game special edition stuff I will be broke next year :p

Oh yeah was wondering... why did Sega get a credit in the opening cinematic of Bayo2? I know they published Bayo1 orginally but but thought Bayo2 was all Nintendo funded hence why WiiU only?

Forgot to say in my earlier post I played all of Bayo1 on Normal mode, there were a fair few levels that I "Stoned" due to having to continue, will definately be going back to the game at some point to improve on that. If I didn't have Bayo2 to get to I'd be replaying Bayo1 right away. Some of the secret levels are also amazingly hard, haven't even found them all yet either I managed to start up Bayo2 a little earlier but only got to watch the opening cinematic and a bit of teh first fight right after (Bayonetta changing from her "Sunday Best" to her normal outfit is just *cough* awesome ) before Zoey woke up from her nap and I then had to pick up Oisín from school. I assume the difficulty settings in Bayo2 of 1st, 2nd, 3rd Climax are the same as Bayo1's "Very Easy, Easy, and Normal" or do they equal "Easy, Normal and Hard"? Also in Bayo1 I LOVE their version of Fly Me to the Moon, will be looking to download that Was wondering if they would use the same in Bayo2 or a different song, once I heard "Moon River" was WOOT, I love Moon River and this veriosn is pretty awesome too
