  1. I got everyone to sign my shirt at the end of Form 5/Year 11, but no pics and I didn't even steal a school notebook for everyone to sign either! One thing I hated about the shirt signings was that there was always one who would draw a penis on your shirt... I disguised mine as a human head somehow just so my mum wouldn't comment.
  2. Top Gun Was expecting some big action film, but didn't get that, only around 2 explosions methinks. Found it quite boring untill Goose gets killed, where it finally starts getting intresting. Tom Cruise really looked like John Travolta in it too! I feel the need, the need to sell the DVD on ebay 5/10
  3. Hot Fuzz - Just as good second time round, and some great extras on the DVD. 8/10 Casino Royale - Not the best or perfect film by far, but I can rewatch this over and over. (Think this was my 5th viewing on DVD) Roll on Bond 22! 9/10 Random theory : when Bond smashes that guy's car at the hotel, does he not seem to resemble Goldfinger? He has a goldish car, he is German and dresses simillar to him.... Looney Tunes Back In Action - Had some good laughs in it, but it's no Space Jam. Takes the piss of some stuff very well. The CGI isn't as good as Space Jam either, especially when the Looney's are with the real actors, which is weird, and where's Lola Bunny! 6/10
  4. I'm looking for a new series of book to read. Would you recommened Andy McNab to someone who enjoys Dan Brown and Ian Fleming titles very much, adventure wise?
  5. Typical! It was last night that I decided that I would actually pick this up on release date. I'm so pissed off. Was really looking forward to playing a Rockstar game on the Wii. Ah well, thank god for the Internet shopping...fingers crossed it won't get banned anywhere else.
  6. Meh...my summer is the same. Can't find a job, live in the middle of nowhere, girlfriend lives in Wirall, and most my friends are not away, but they just can't afford to do anything! I asked a friend last week if he fancied seeing a film on Orange Wednesday's at Cineworld, which would of cost him £2.40ish, and he was like "sorry, can't afford it" WTF!! I might end up offering my services for free to a chairty shop for the experience, go to the gym, or pick up on a new hobby i.e learn to play guitar or piano better. But at the moment, I am just going to enjoy rewatching some classic films, playing more games and read more books Hopefully this one won't be as depressing as the pre 6th form summer...that was just so awful for me...
  7. Naturally, I have a welsh accent. Some say it's very strong while others just think it's normal. When I speak english with people I don't like, or am not comfortable being with, my voice tends to go very deep, which I hate! I hate hearing my voice on a recording too, it sounds different.
  8. Cancelled my pre-order Not got much money in the bank at the moment, but I really do want this game! The community feature thread brought back so much memories, that I look forward to replaying all of them on my Wii. Might pop into Tesco or ASDA on the 29th tho, as they might have it for £20, fingers crossed.
  9. Just saw it, and it was very cool. During the last five minutes I was on the edge of my seat. Loving John Simms as The Master. He seems just as eccentric as Tennant. Wasn't sure if it was him to begin with to be honest, his voice was very different from that he used in Life on Mars. Did anyone else think that the monsters who hunted the humans, seemed very simillar to the enemies on the island, at the end of Resident Evil 4?
  10. Do remember we will have a Christmas special too, so maybe that could be Tennant's depature, leaving the whole of series 4 for the new Doctor. If Tennant was to leave at the end of this series, we would of had heard by now, like we did with Eccleston. I do think it's possible that Martha might leave at the end of this series tho. We have not seen as much of her family, as we did with Rose in series 1, in this series. Maybe they thought, well if we are getting rid of her, then there is no point in showing more of her family. Personally I'd like to see the Doctor have some adventures on his own for a bit, ala last year's Christmas special.
  11. Driving is a sign of maturity in my opinion. In my area there are many youngsters driving expensive cars just mere months after turning 17, and of course you have the chavs, who speed around the place and do other things that you would associate with chavs and cars. How soon will those 17 year olds be in heavy debt, and how soon will some innocent bystander be hurt by a reckless driver? At that oung age you shouldn't have the responsibility of owning your own car and paying TAX, Insuarane etc. I didn't start learning till I was 18 and a half, because I knew if I would of passed my driving test at 17 ( a time one is still a kid ) I would not trust myself on the road. Another year of waiting could make a diffrence to some people, making them more mature, as what happened in my case.
  12. August 31st for Europe! Much sooner than expected.
  13. Ta-ra! Pop over for sum Mario Strikers at mine if you ever get bored
  14. Snowdon does indeed rule. Have only ever walked up it once, despite going there ever so often with the family over the summer holidays, but I do plan on heading up there over the summer. They are building a new cafe on the peak now, so it might be a bit packed at the top tho. I recomended that you visit some of the other attractions of Llanberis while you are there. The slate museum is fantastic along with the electric mountain museum, and both have free admission!
  15. You shoot with the 'A' button?
  16. Played Doctor Who with my little cousin today Bit of a weak picture(twas the only pic taken) but I was quite well in the role apparently
  17. Anyone up for sum Isketch?!?!?!?!?!?! I'll open a N-E room!
  18. This is very simillar to what I learned to drive in : was very difficult and shameful lol. For a first car tho, go for a Corsa. All my best friends have one, and two of them have theirs in the same colour as mine! We haven't parked side by side somewhere yet, or driven 3 in a row on the road yet Below is my purchased car. I call her Rita. Got it off ebay for £550. My mum has a friend who is a mechanic so he had a look before I brought it of course. 1.2 engine methinks, and I have had no problems with it, apart from being annoyed when the steering wheel locks. Cheap insurance too!
  19. The first time you meet Chainsaw Dude, and get your head cut off! Best thing in a game ever in my opinion. Also when you are in the cabin with the spanish guy, just trying to stay alive for as long as possible! Very 'Night of the Living Dead' that. I also enjoyed the mine cart level very much. It was intense! Oh, and the first time you spy on Ashley's knickers with your sniper, and get called a Pervet! Priceless!
  20. Yum Yum. Purchased chiken nuggets and chips from McDonalds three times in the last week! Plus the Cadbury's Caramel Mc Flurry of course. Yummy!
  21. Many happy returns!
  22. That almost looks like a valid spot the difference puzzle.
  23. Wow. Looks really good. Shame the trailers seems to give away the whole plot for the opening epiosdes. She seem's like the Sydney Bristow of the super-hero world.
  24. Has anyone bothered to read the instruction book? Found a 'new' move in it a while back, which is, shake the nunchunk while someone is charging up for a mega-strike, and it will make their bar shake, making it more difficult for them to get good results. I have been using it in online matches but it doesn't seem to have much, if any effect at all.
