  1. Ewwww ewww ewww I hate this pic, but I thought it was pretty funny that my mate wanted this as his birthday present XD
  2. Talking about "boring" from P!nk, I nearly choked on my drink the first time I heard "That's hot, Scott Storch" around the 2:25 mark. Blatantly taking the piss out of Paris Hilton's HILARIOUS opening to her album, on the track "Turn me up" here it is XD XD XD Got Paris' album ealier this year and found the opening hilarious, P!nk doing this made my day the first time I heard it ^_^
  3. LOVELOVELOVELOVE That video Thankyou for reminding me, also love the song
  4. I felt like that on P!nk's "Funhouse" 2 of my favourite songs from that album are bonus tracks, "This is how it goes down" and "Boring" Other faves include "Funhouse" "Bad Influence" and "Crystal Ball"
  5. It dis-heartens me that people consider Britney to be "the best of pop" Pop can be fucking brilliant, Britney's songs fantastic? No. Catchy for 2 weeks then start to get INCREDIBLY annoying? yes Although saying that, I am gunna be buying the album, as I know I will enjoy it for the time stated above, and they will come in use for dance tracks Brtiney songs I think are worthy of being called "good" Toxic, Me against the music, Everytime, Overprotected. (That was my Christina Aguilera fan speaking, I actually really like Britney's music, but have to admit most of them are not of quality, and produced to fuck.)
  6. Shh. I didn't read the post XD I will go with this Haha
  7. They probably do remember, it's just, that advert doesn't pop up in there heads when they read "Funny Adverts Thread"
  8. I like the netbook you linked me to....but the laptop is so plain D= I forgot to add in it must look nice and stylish :P Thankyou for the links though http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/6791660/Samsung-NC10-Intel-Atom-N270-1-6GHz-1GB-160GB-10-2-Windows-XP-Home-Netbook-Black/Product.html# Is that good for that price?
  9. Sorry! Another one, yes XD Considering a laptop for xmas, so I thought it would be best to start looking around now! Not sure whether I want a netbook or a laptop, if it was a laptop, it has to be small. But if it was a netbook it would have to be one of the best netbooks. Looking to spend between £300 - £400 Webcam must, atleast 1gb ram, graphics card not bothered about, windows vista preferred although netbooks only have linux/xp right? Btw windows is a must. So yeah if you could point me to sites, or find me some laptops/netbooks, would be most appreciated!
  10. Spelt.... Okay okay I will shhh

  15. Rolling Stone’s list of 100 Greatest Singers of All Time Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles top a poll of the world’s best singers… as John Lennon ends up at no. 5 She had her first hit over 40 years ago, has 20 Grammys and has been crowned the ‘Queen of Soul’. And now Aretha Franklin has another honour to add to her collection - she’s been named the the Greatest Singer of All Time in a poll by Rolling Stone magazine. The 66-year-old diva is the only female in the top 10 list, of which seven are no longer living. Following close behind is blues legend Ray Charles at two, who was once labelled the ‘only true genius in the business’ by Frank Sinatra. At three was Elvis Presley, with Sam Cooke at four and John Lennon at five. Completing the top 10, is Marvin Gay at six, Bob Dylan at seven, Otis Redding at eight, Stevie Wonder at nine and James Brown at 10. The survey of the world’s top 100 singer was compiled from a shortlist of 179 and was whittled down by musicians, producers, music industry insiders and Rolling Stone editors. Other names in the top 100 include Sir Paul McCartney at 11, Sir Mick Jagger at 16, Etta James at 22, Michael Jackson at 25, Dusty Springfield at 35, Elton John at 38, Christina Aguilera at 58 and Mariah Carey at 79. – “I knew she could really sing,” Herbie Hancock said of his 2005 collaboration with teen pop’s most accomplished vocalist. “But I didn’t know she could sing like that. She knocked me out.” Christina Aguilera has had the finesse and power of a blues queen ever since she was a child star (she appeared on Star Search at age 11). Even in her teen-pop “Genie in a Bottle” days, she was modeling her dramatic, melismatic technique on old-school soul heroines like Etta James; you could hear it first come to fruition on 2002’s “Beautiful.” Patti Smith, of all people, says Aguilera’s rendition of James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” at last year’s Grammys was “one of the best performances that I’ve ever seen.Ê.Ê.Ê. I sat and watched it, and at the end, I just involuntarily leapt to my feet. It was amazing.”
  16. I love the whole interludes and stuff, and as Paj said below me, it's very atmospheric, and you can just lose yourself in it And yeah I realised that after reading it again :P It's actually my favourite album ever, if I haven't mentioned it before XD
  17. Back to Basics....cheap? LOL. Kay. This is where I stop listening to you :/ EDIT: If you just meant Madonna's last album....fair enough, havent heard it. But saying Christina sounds cheap atm, :/ hmm. Christina co writes her own stuff, and plays a HUGE part in her music, whereas the like of Britney doesn't.
  18. I think it's a nice "thanks" to her fans more than trying to make new material (the remakes I'm talking about) As for the dance music move, no, I'm not completely happy with the choice, I thought the "Back to Basics" era was freaking amazing, performance wise AND it suited her voice perfectly. I'm kinda sad shes moved on from that, but that's what you get with Christina, she changes, and that's what I love about her. You don't get the same thing twice (Although I wouldn't have minded another Back to Basics ) Give her chance, these are only "Greatest Hits" singles, so, so hyped for her next album! Just hope she doesn't scrap the ballads for "You are what you are" kinda stuff. But for now, I'm happy with KGB and Dynamite, two brilliant fresh tracks IMO Go Legendtina!
  19. It's my least favourite from the 4 new tracks. I still like it though :P What do you think of Dynamite/Genie 2.0?
  20. Christina Aguilera's greatest hits came out today, and It was here waiting for me when I got back from school ^_^ Cover/cd/booklet = amazing! 4 new tracks on there, the single "keeps gettin' better" which I LOVE, just listened to another new track for the first time "Dynamite" and WOW I'm certainly loving the new direction she is going it Now, the 2 other "new" tracks are re-done versions of "Genie In A bottle" and "Beautiful, the first of the two "Genie 2.0" slows the song down, and gives it that futuristic sound, it's also quite eerie ^_^ The second is "You are what you are (beautiful)" the backing music on this, is something like you would find from a megadrive game XD Loving it.
  21. Im gay, but I do like to see some curves on a woman. A defined chin on a guy does it for me....LOL Or a nice bum
