I think I heard they're simply ignored. It looks like a similar situation as with the previous Splatfest.. Nobody likes Pearl Mayonaise. Except in The Netherlands. I'm afraid to go online and face the ketchup horde! I'd love to, but I don't know if we have enough Mayo players, and I'm not sure what time I'll get on. Maybe tonight, maybe after midnight, maybe even tomorrow. If you can find 2 other players I'll make more effort to make myself available say after 20:00 UK.

I love how they're building up Inkopolis square for the Splatfest. I missed that detail when doing the first one.. Can't wait for it, I loved the vibe with the concert going on! Also finished the single player, so now that zapfish thing is on top of the building. The final boss didn't seem that special, especially after watching a video of the first one.. I also don't think I can be arsed to play every single level again with each of the weapons. And did a bunch of Salmon wars.. Back to being a "profreshional".

Haha, I'm one of the few #TeamMayo guys around here I suppose! It's definitely a cultural thing. Mayo is the winner on the Dutch forum I go to.

I'm not doing the Mario Kart league tonight, but I'm watching football (for a change). I don't know at what time you guys are on, or at what time Salmon Run ends, but I suspect I'm online roughly 22:00 UK, and I'm definitely up for Salmon run.

That looks like an absolutely dreadful experience, so no thanks . I have other plans anyway.

I still intend to get I am setsuna on a cartridge, so I won't be making use of that discount. Infinite minigolf looks pretty good, and is getting good reviews on Steam.. I may get that one. Mostly interested for the level editor! Sine mora EX is also looking good, and releases in less than a week..

Had fun guys! And I'm back to being an over-achiever! Wish I remembered what you are talking about ;). It is actually a good strategy though. If you have a few seconds left, and the quota is already filled, it's better to just get the hell away from all the chaos rather than try to kill extra bosses or go out of the way to revive dead players. Also a great tip from that reddit thread I linked above, they actually show what tide the next round is going to be right at the start of the countdown. I never noticed.. I just looked for the basket, but often forgot (luckily there's usually one player who does notice). If it's low tide you can immediately head to the beach as the basket will always appear there in that situation.

I've been looking into gear abilities, and it's a shame that apparently you can't have different main abilities on your gear (without using Splatnet.. :|). From an aesthetic point of view, I have the gear I want pretty much (I love the leather jacket), but I need / want something with ninja squid. I'm not sure what you mean.. The ink does nothing to your score if that's what your getting at? The better your ink coverage, the better your survival, it's as simple as that. If you're lucky, you get the grillers or goldie rush on the 3rd round. But 8 out of 10 times, you get the boss character rape-orgy fest. It's impossible to kill 'm all, so you need to dodge the shots from the boss characters who can hit you from the other side of the map. If you can't cover the ground with ink fast enough, you're not able to escape. The enemies in those rounds are extremely effective at removing all your ink and replace it with their own green goo, so previously placed escape routes may not be there anymore, and if your ink coverage is low to begin with..

So.. I've neglected to (pre-) order some of the recent / upcoming Nintendoroids (hopefully I'll make up for it soon), but.. I'm going to pre-order the fuck out of this bad boy. Breath of the wild Link is on its way, so now he has something to fight (or run away from :P). Wonfes has started, I had a quick look, but only caught this one and a Pokemon one on the Nintendo side of collectibles (so far).

I get why they'd choose such weapons in order to get other people to try them out, but they could balance things more. The last weapon set made Salmon run drastically more difficult than the weapon set before it. The one before that one, had a sniper, but the rest of the weapons were ok so it wasn't a huge problem. Or not as big at least. The rollers are actually pretty great for Salmon run. They're not the best at killing boss characters, but certainly not the worst either (those bomb throwing bosses are certainly doable, just use the vertical splash), but more importantly they have the best ink coverage, which is extremely important in Salmon run.

It was, and no I didn't. I was actually preparing to leave for that match, but I caught a bit of the end and was aware they had won. I'm not actually a big football fan, but I thought it would be fun to go see a live football match at least once in my life. I don't care much about individual clubs, I massively prefer to watch women, and I prefer not to deal with drunken idiots afterwards, so when I saw the womens euro cup was held in The Netherlands, and matches were being played in a stadium nearby, it was an excellent opportunity. So today (ehm well yesterday at this point) I went to the match, and I had fun! The match was great, and I had a nice seat. Though what I gather from comments on forums is that this was one of the better matches in the cup. After that I went to Amsterdam to see 2001: a space odyssey on 70mm, then back to Rotterdam to see Baby driver. So yeah, I had a fun day.

When I was 8 years old (I think), my parents sent me to <google translate> recorder lessons. It was a standard thing here that taught the basics of music to children, then after that you'd choose an instrument you were actually interested in. I don't know of any "guides", but I'd suggest you simply take a few trial lessons. I think piano lessons would be great for the basics, but perhaps you already have something specific in mind.

Can't wait until they make amiibo for all Pokémon which just gives you the pokémon in the following games.

The difference is they were both games, both enjoyable on their own merit, and more likely to have the same customers. I did not buy either of the games to simply unlock stuff in the other ;). And the fusion suit was purely cosmetic, where it seems here it actually changes gameplay.
