Yes and yes. The charcter's shield will break, but game and watch (and every one in his way) will die. It happens quite fast, but is funny when you first see it.

Besides i would only expect a minority of players playing "professionally" so there are going to be plenty of n00bs out there for you to beat . NO ICE CLIMBERS!?!?!? NO WAY!!!!! Edit: If you fill game&watch's bucket with 3 PK flashes from ness and empty it on a shield, it turns game&watch into a missile, instantly killing anything it touches (and itself).

If you're losing to someone who wavedashes (thereby not making it fun for you) then you could either learn wavedashing or combat wavedashing to make it more fun for yourself or you could just quit playing cause you dont find it fun anyway.

Simpsons arcade was amazing. Also enjoyed the time crisis games. PS Mario kart arcade is well good as well

Wavedashing is different to snaking in that snaking requires little to no skill, whereas not everyone can wavedash effectively (or at all for that matter). I dont like the idea of it being slower. However they are simply refining the system (like they do in games like PES) so the changes in tempo and aerial combat may be for the better. They better try for the online mode or I'll be super pissed:mad: !

Final Fantasy IX [spoiler=]The bit in castle pandemonium where zidane is trying to find himself and is swayed away from garland by the help of his friends. Great music. Metal Gear Solid Just a brilliant game. Such a good story as well. Conker's BFD The bit where you fight the giant caveman and bite a chunk out of its arse!

It looks like one of the best launches ever, especially when comparing it to the xbox 360 launch and the DS launch. I reckon Wii will be number 1 at xmas easy.

You seem to be missing something... FINAL FANTASY VIII! Why is it that people don't like it? It's such an amazing game, one of my greatest ever. It was very challenging, had an intelligent storyline, great system and amazing characters! If you've got a ps1 and haven't played ffviii then buy it now!

Cloud would be perfect with his oversized buster sword and the ability to use magic. If they dont put in cloud they would at least put in Sora. Kratos would also be amazing (although i didnt like ToS as much). Loads of people suggesting Ridley. How would Ridley work in a game like smash. He's a gigantic dragon! Also along with pokemon, you should be able to summon aeons/gfs/eidolons etc. It would be awesome (summon bahamut: MEGA FLARE!!!! everyone dead).

I think they would. Do you recall captain falcon ever using his falcon punch in an f zero game? No they just made it up for smash. Same with moves like firefox, shiek's needles/chain, peach's tap B move... and besides snake needs a 3rd jump anyway.

FFX was good but lacked the depth of previous final fantasys (no overworld map?!). ToS was a great game, but lacked a decent story, it was sooo unbelievably cliched (Collete is the chosen one! she's going to save the world! *yawn*). FFIX in my opinion was the perfect rpg, great story/characters, great battle system, lots of side quests, and 70 hours of play. FFVIII was also amazing (but quite a few people i know dont like it as much).

People are forgetting that there are only 4 B moves. All of his A moves will be a physical close combat attack, so there would be a max of 3 different explosive based moves (his Up B would be used as a recovery). So heres my list oof B moves I would like to see. B: Gas grenage Tap B: Rocket Launcher Up B: A grapple wire (like what batman use) to hook on to wall and recover Down B: Lay C4, B again to detonate Also his Z would be a choke hold (with snake shouting "freeze!").

Link looks very embarassed... I've heard that a lot of people are going to buy BOTH versions of the game. Is there any real point in this?
