Oh yeah, hadn't thought of that! :p You do get this screen of links when you click on the points though: "Download your wiipoint 1000 zum 2. To download this product later, visit your profile page. Click here to make another selection, or choose another destination."
-
A few people on EG have tried getting them but although the star points are taken from their accounts, they can't download the Wii points from anywhere!
-
Actually, don't try it - I think it's a test gone wrong!!!!!
-
Just noticed that there are 1000 Wii points on the Stars Catalogue for 789 star points. Is this a good use of my stars? DON'T TRY THIS - THINK IT'S A TEST GONE WRONG!

Ohmigod, my secret is out! Yes, it's true, I'm a girl! :p
-
I've heard they're actually £4.99 instore at Gamestation.
-
Oh dear, that's a bit annoying then! I have no idea how I got mine - ordered it just before 12. There was one Wii left and I put it in my basket but it said 'sold out' when I went to checkout. Tried again and managed to get one!
-
It's not lies! :p John Lewis had some for sale this morning and lunchtime. They don't appear to have added any for a few hours though so they might have sold out now. Just keep checking every 5 mins! Edit: Doh, you just missed some - according to someone on another forum, there were 4 available at 3.08pm!
-
John Lewis have had some in stock today and they keep adding more. See my thread in the Bargain board.
-
Wow, thanks very much for noticing - that's very kind of you! I'm at work today unfortunately for my birthday and I'm also so old I shouldn't really bother celebrating!! Going out for a few drinks tomorrow with my mates.
-
Yes, it's been re-released I think (or they've found some old stock!). You can get it from Amazon for £16.99. See my thread in the Bargains board.

Back on topic, there's some more info about the mag here.
-
You're a bit late (see this thread) - it happened at about half 3 so most of the stuff has gone now.

The NOE stars catalogue has been updated:

I never realised you had to be in Gmail - US for the Talk stuff to work! Mine has always been set to that. I've had an account from the start so my email address ends in @gmail.com rather than googlemail(?).

Official Nintendo Magazine deal : annoying
Locky replied to Flaight's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Next issue is due out on 20 April. See 'New NOM' thread for more details. -
Just looked on the ONM website and it says:
-
I'm the same! I spend lots of time looking for cheap games and posting the details up in the bargain forum and when they arrive I don't have enough time to play them all!
-
Was it the last episode tonight? My TV guide says 'Aunt Irma Visits' is 6/6. I quite like the IT Crowd - it's a bit daft but funny! And I like My Name is Earl, which follows it, as well.
-
Yes, that's a good idea. If you subscribe to ONM via direct debit you can cancel after the first quarter. Direct debit comes out automatically though so you will have to write to them to cancel it. (I have heard you can cancel Future magazines via their website but not sure about this.) According to my subscription email: "Under the terms of the Direct Debit Guarantee (shown below), you are entitled to terminate your Direct Debit at any time." "You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by writing to your Bank or Building Society. Please also send a copy of your letter to Future Publishing."

Guitar Hero (PS2) £31.91 (preorder) at Amazon. They seem to have the release date wrong though!
-
It says on the Nintendo Europe site that Donkey Konga does come with bongos: "Free Game - Yes, that's right, subscribe to the all-new Official Nintendo Magazine and you can choose from one of three Gold Award GameCube games. Metroid Prime 2 Echoes? Pikmin 2? Donkey Konga with a set of bongos? One of these games will be yours when you subscribe!"

What's that mean?

Has everyone seen the new website? http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/
