Have a look here at mysega.co.uk for some info on that. (The Chandra mentioned is the new magazine's editor.)

I read it on Gamesradar so I wouldn't be sure it was right but it makes sense that the new mag will follow on seamlessly from the old, especially as this info was announced a few months ago. Also, that cover picture might just be a mockup rather than what the first issue will actually look like. We'll see I suppose!

Nope, it's definitely been cancelled - it happened in November. Some of the CUBE staff posted on another forum about all the details. CUBE was published by Highbury who are in severe financial difficulties - think they're on the verge of going bankrupt. You might be able to find a copy of the last issue (#52) if you look in newsagents - they might still have it on the shelves.

NGC is definitely still going - saw it in WHSmith in Norwich this morning - but CUBE finished a couple of months ago. See this thread about CUBE. Issue 52 was the last one I think.

Does anyone know what's in the new issue of NGC? I subscribe but my copy hasn't turned up yet and I notice it's in the shops. Cheers!

There's a new DS Special magazine out now. See my thread here in the Handheld Discussion board. Would be good to see a regular monthly handheld mag though.

gamesTM issue 40 is out in the shops now. I picked up a copy in WHSmiths yesterday. It's got four collector's edition covers - one for each season of Animal Crossing (spring, summer, autumn, winter).

Highbury, the company that owns GamesTM, are having money problems (debts of £29.5m) and the printer wasn't paid so the mag didn't get printed over Christmas. It should be out in the next week or so though and there's a DS special magazine coming out as well from the people who used to write for CUBE. GamesTM is supposed to be carrying on for the next few issues but I'm not sure after that. (Read all this on another forum.) Just read a news report that says "The end was signalled for Highbury House Communications yesterday as the debt-laden magazine publisher put its remaining titles up for sale."

Dunno if anyone subscribed to CUBE and hasn't received a letter from Highbury yet but I was reading on another forum that you can switch your subscription to either GamesTM, Xbox 360 magazine or Go Play, or get a refund for the remaining issues.
