Well, I'm also doin' fine, third year of uni's almost done, and I still play Pokémon. Also, don't feel weird! You should do what I don't and post more often, haha. =P

I did watch one of the Indiana Jones movies fairly recently. Think it was called Temple of Doom? Didn't think it was that great, though... And as for Terminator, no, haven't seen a single one of those, heh. I can't really say why I don't watch that many movies, because I don't really know myself. Well, I do consciously choose not to watch some movies due to the blood and gore, which I can't really handle that well. Heck, even the surgical scenes in hospital shows are capable of making me faint. =P

Heh, the kid I faced in the first round was very cocky whilst in the queue, so I was pretty happy to face him in the first round and teach him a lesson to not underestimate an exploding Muk! After that I faced some pretty friendly people, eventually facing off against the inevitable Kyogre and got washed away. I knew I wouldn't win the whole thing, I just wanted to see how far I could get with a team prepared overnight. Top 16 was pretty good I like to think. =P Anyway whether I go or not will depend on the location, but I reckon it'll probably be fun! You should consider it, even if you don't really agree with the rule on Unova Pokémon only. By the way, did you see that guy cosplaying as a Zangoose last year? He was creepy...

I definitely agree on the queueing stuff, that was very poorly handled last year. As for the age groups, my opinion is torn. On the one hand, I think it's good they've split the 13 year olds from the 20 year olds, but on the other hand, a player can be any age and into competitive Pokémon, so I don't think the split is going to make much of a difference in that regard. In the first round last year I faced a small kid who had one of those Dark Void Smeargle teams. Certainly glad there won't be any of those running about this year. =P

Belated thanks for the Birthday wishes everyone. Wish I had something to add to that, but I guess my mind is too old now to think of something witty. Just thanks it is, then! I don't know what you're talking about. See the user title? I've been a "Frequent Poster" for around 3-4 years now. Obviously that means I post plenty. =P

The Pokémon VGC allowed the more powerful legendary Pokémon last year, so I'd be surprised if the list of 'viable' Pokémon that year exceeded even 20. Kyogre in particular was a very popular choice if I recall. I'd say having 'barely' 100 to choose from this year is a vast improvement. =P

Might just be because I've got Pokémon on the mind, but I can't help but think of Pokémon Snap when these controls were mentioned... What with the 3DS having camera capabilities, It just seems like a natural fit! Maybe you could even upload the pictures you take in-game to your 3DS' album, like you could upload them to the Wii Message Board for the Virtual Console version. ...Oh, right, Zelda! Looks good and stuff. Yeah. =P

Just going to say that this was fun to read, gentlemen (and m'lady). Managed to distract me from my work and I wasn't even playing. =P Almost makes me wanna take part in games again. Best not though, considering the time of year...

What I was thinking (at least before the event) was something to celebrate Mario's 25th anniversary, with 25 years worth of Mario references squeezed in. Was also thinking I might attempt to actually draw it this year, but that depends on how lazy I am. But I'll see what I can do for you, heh. It was nice to meet ya Ashley! Playing Super Mario Bros. Wii and Donkey Kong Country Returns with you was a blast, even if we were both pretty bad, haha. We should have challenged Iain Lee and that Nintendo UK bloke (or maybe Mario?) to Goldeneye as well. Missed opportunity! Speaking of, Mr. Lee was pretty great... though I don't think anyone really knew who he was at the event (though if you gave him your card, I'm not sure I/we should be admitting this on the forums =P).

I believe he was the finalist who was dressed as Jaws, though I could be wrong. Yeah, I tried it at the event, too. I haven't had much experience on the SNES Donkey Kong Country games so I can't really compare, but this game was certainly a thoroughly enjoyable experience for me. Definitely one to purchase! I was useless at the game, though. Died soooo many times in the minecart level. =P

Well, I technically finished the year late May, but I was home around early May (I'll tell you the whole story when I get my computer back if you like, Kinda hard to write on the DS =P)... so months is about right, heh.
Oh, by the way, I have a program that can convert your Brawl snapshots into JPEG files on my computer. I think it was called "bin2jpeg", if you just wanna try googling it. I can send you the program when I get my computer back if you prefer, though.

Ah... I'm afraid I've been unable to obtain those. They're at my uni apartment, and I'm... not. I've tried to convince my parents to get my things, but they've been too lazy (though my rent runs out in a couple of days, so we HAVE to soon, heh). So I've had to get my internets from my DS alone. I'm really sorry... I've been wanting to get my stuff back for months. >_>;
