  1. Best thing about that is it reminds me of this... Looking forward to some screens with actual vehicles in them though. Or better yet, some gameplay footage.
  2. Yeah, I remember this from the DQIX thread. Anyway, make sure you also get into woodcutting, blacksmithing and carpentry in that case.
  3. What the hell are Nintendo playing at? Man, import sales are gonna be through the roof!
  4. Yeah.I'm going to wait, as there's just no point in me picking up the game right now (still got lots to do in Fantasy Life, and Hyrule Warriors. Plus Smash Bros. and Bayonetta 2 are literally around the corner). It's always good to save some games for a droughty day too. Still got Kirby Triple Deluxe to look forward to because of that, so adding Curtain Call to my list will give me another 3DS title to look forward to at some point.
  5. Great!I'm looking forward to seeing you and other N-E peeps on Link Mode. Have you thought about which life type you're going to start as? Not that it really matters. I started as an angler, and have spent most of my time playing the game as that life. It's currently the only life that I've reached the max rank with too.
  6. Same here. I was always looking forward to the game, but never expected to enjoy it as much as I am. It's so great once the controls/combos really click too, feels great annihilating the CPU enemies. Here are a couple of GIFs where I went a bit OTT:
  7. Sweet! That wasn't in the original, no (unless I completely missed it too ). Damn, I kind of want to get this game now.
  8. Game intro: Amazing! Gutted there's no Wii U version.
  9. Damn, that's disappointing. So far I've seen 3 Network Links (Sprout, a random, and Sprout again. ). Cleared all 3 of those stages too, not that it seems to do anything. Nah, searching just activates the additional reward for clearing that stage with an A Rank.If you're ever unsure about where to use an item when searching, just play a stage that rewards the compass, as using that will reveal the secret location of a screen. It definitely would have been nice, yeah. What I've been doing is just running for the nearest keep as soon as a stage begins (before the first mission even appears) to try and capture as soon as possible. When I first started playing this game I'd always hang around beating up random enemies while waiting for the next instruction to appear, now I start playing each stage like a nutter! Rushing to different keeps, taking out the more important enemies, moving as quickly as possible. It makes coping with multiple tasks a bit easier.
  10. Awesome stuff.
  11. Here's my review of the game: http://www.n-europe.com/reviews/fantasy-life : peace:
  12. That'd creep me out too much I reckon. In that situation I'd rather play this:
  13. Did TLOU remastered have new tracks? I've only played the PS3 version, but it didn't really stick with me. While I can appreciate the quality of the more somber stuff, it's not really my thing to be honest. So yeah, I'd love for there to be more music like the examples I posted earlier in one of these Classic FM shows.
  14. It's basically a series of challenges, but instead of just giving us a boring list to scroll through, each one is a screen from the original NES Zelda world map. Some of the screens require using an item (searching) to unlock the available rewards, and random players/friends can appear on the map as a Link sprite, making that particular challenge more difficult to complete, but providing better rewards for you and the random/friend, if you manage to beat the stage. So yeah, it's just a case of completing/searching the screens, and uncovering more of the map/unlocking rewards in the process. Great addition to the game I reckon. Hmm. Perhaps there's a delay.
  15. Yeah, could do with being a bit more upbeat in general.Think I'm gonna contact them with some recommendations for that end of year special: [tweet]513387028097290240[/tweet] Stuff like... I'll obviously have to lie about release dates for the first 3. Everyone should send in MK8's Cloudtop Cruise as a genuine request though.
  16. Shocking revelation!:
  17. Yeah, there was Mario Bros. stuff as well if I recall correctly. That's gonna be quite the collection of special items/costumes if all of it ends up being included in MH4U. :awesome:
  18. Ah, that makes sense I guess.Cheers.
  19. So what exactly is the deal is with automatic software updates? A few days ago I decided to chuck a disc in my Wii U for the first time in ages (to check the drive was still functional after such a long break ) which happened to be The Wonderful 101, and I was surprised when it started downloading and then installing an update. I've had standby connection and automatic updates enabled on my Wii U for quite a while now, and always thought that meant the console kept everything up to date automatically (@Dcubed, pretty sure you mentioned this on here before) but that definitely didn't happen in this case. Anyone else had to manually update a game since enabling standby functions?
  20. So there is. And it seems like my best is actually 81! When the hell did that happen?: Some new weapons, maps and game modes too: N-E's Hyrule Warriors review by @Cube is now up, for those still undecided on the game: http://www.n-europe.com/reviews/hyrule-warriors : peace: Now isn't this a lovely and unusual sight : Finally had a Network Link appear in my Adventure Mode too, it's a LV.21 Maidens (aka @Sprout): I managed to win the battle too (which was pretty damn tough) so you should be getting a reward... You're welcome. Let me know what you get.
  21. Funnily enough I just managed 71 as Sheik:
  22. It's pretty satisfying when you get a bunch of enemies with the special attack. :awesome: I'm getting a bit better at it now:
  23. Nah, you're alright.
