I can definitely relate to this. Thanks for bringing up this subject as I've been thinking about it a lot recently. I've taken a break from the bigger games that need a lot more time and devotion and have been enjoying a few of the pick up and play smaller indie titles on the eShop. I don't know what it is, maybe it's just going back to basics of where it all began for a while until the urge for the big hitters returns.

Something like Fire Emblem would lend itself far better, it has the cast and the weapons, plus it would get people skeptical of turn based games interested in the franchise and might turn them into fans.

Is Unepic a good game? It looks good and I like its mix of gameplay from the video and its reviews on eShop, scores it at 4.5/5. But on Metacritic it's fairly average, scoring 7.2. What do people on here think of it?

I know all that and how they're running through the Wii mode. I'm saying leave Virtual Console as it was. Have Wii games in their own dedicated section on the eShop. Just because Wii games are here now shouldn't mean the Virtual Console sign has to come down on the eShop.

As said it's a combination of reasons. Some won't buy the console because there are no 3rd party games, developers won't make games because nobody will buy the console. It's the chicken/egg scenario. Nintendo have a whole host of problems, some they can fix more easily and others that I think at this stage will need generations to eradicate. To say there's no audience receptive to genres of games is not true. Take FIFA 13 for example. It was a joke of a game and a lazy effort when it released 2 years ago, yet despite that still to this day it places highly on the Wii U specific chart every week. Sure it's cheap but if EA gave us a proper version it'd sell even better. There's always a market for football games.

@Serebii What am I talking about? What are you talking about? The press release has a Virtual Console section. Yet when you go on the eShop there's no section titled Virtual Console now. The press release keeps them separate but on the eShop both Wii games and VC games are under the one banner. The Virtual Console should have been left alone and keep Wii games in its own defined section.
