The whole point of reviews is to tell you whether a game is worth playing or not. The reviews would suggest no it's not. We've been down this well trodden path before. As I've said before I've not played Superman 64, thank you reviewers for the heads up. Never have, never will as most people haven't, doesn't stop the game being slated on a daily basis. Any other analogy can be used. You've never been to space so how do you know the world is round?

And add Mario Party 10 and Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars to that list.

It's a shame that there's this big blister on the game because other than the lack of voice chat it all looks good and positive. There's articles nearly everywhere focusing on this one missing feature.

What age are todays parents? They didn't grow in the Great Depression, rolling a hoop with a stick as a kid or buy black & white mint humbugs and listened to the wireless. Even if say the average is 45 or 50, it's probably much less they know what technology is. Most probably own a smart phone, they know how to use that so no excuses. It's really easy to set up parental controls. It's got a prominent icon on the main screen and Nintendo nearly hand hold you through the whole process. Ignorance is no excuse. You know what you're buying, there's enough media coverage of what happens on consoles. I call it lazy parenting or couldn't give a $h1t parenting as long little Johnny isn't in my hair.

Famitsu have reviewed the game. Rodea: The Sky Soldier (Wii U/3DS) - 8/7/8/7

Does anybody know what this feature is for?

What are Nintendo going to do next generation regarding voice chat? They can't continue to keep their head buried in the sand, surely. It may not be a deciding factor but I'm sure Nintendo's stance on voice chat plays some role in peoples purchasing decisions.

Any team that uses Skype or the likes will have a major advantage over the rest of the Helen Kellers.

Bull$h1t more like.

Nintendo knew that this was an issue and purposely kept the decision on voice chat secret to avoid the backlash. Well the bubble has burst and they'll lose sales over this decision, myself included.
-
Nintendon't what everybody else does.

What is your major malfunction Nintendo!!!???

So no voice chat has been confirmed. That's a day 1 purchase decision made for me. It's in the video you posted right near the end.

Blame Nintendo. Remember this train wreck of an ad? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dbGJieRaH0 This was their Wii U launch ad. Leaving aside the head wrecking music they concentrated on the gamepad mixed in with Wii remote controllers for extra confusion, it made it look like an add-on. The console was only briefly shown at the end hidden behind the gamepad and the console was similar looking to the Wii.

See you later Squid. I'm in this Thursday.

Dragon Quest is what's being speculated the most. Maybe a MH4U port for Wii U but if it's for both platforms, probably not.

General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion
Wii replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in General Gaming Discussion
This weeks UK sales charts. Mario Party 10 had a good debut. -
Translated Tweets from game director Kojima. Kojima is talking about the BLADE home area again. He realized that they haven't really talked about it much so far. It'll be the player's home base both online and offline, and is a location the player will be visiting very frequently in the game, so they've prepared various customization options, like the ones they mentioned in the previous tweets.

It takes time to charge these strong shots, so you will need to learn to use your sub-weapon effectively." [TWEET]579969647094542337[/TWEET] "Our researchers have obtained video of the Splacharger in action. Please take a look. To master this weapon, it seems as though you will need to develop an intuition for how long the charge takes."

Steven Gerard's heat map. He ruined the game for Liverpool. I honestly believe they would have got at least a draw had he not done that. Steven Gerrard's game by numbers: 40 seconds played 0% pass accuracy 0 tackles won 1 foul 1 red card What the hell is wrong with him? He may have cost Liverpool 4th place.

What are peoples predictions for this weeks coming Direct? I thought it would happen sooner but with last weeks mobile/DeNA announcement I think they decided to feed off that for a bit. I think it'll be the usual subjects but I want to see new games announced for Wii U.
