If Ubisoft were to do anything it would be much more likely to be this.Though both are highly unlikely.

I often wanted to use that gif but could never find a decent version of it. That is brilliant. I will have to use that in future.

I admitted no such thing.

We know what's in the Direct. We got the text only version yesterday. http://n-europe.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1744205&postcount=10138 If it is as was in that leak then God help that German NOE worker because they warned him on the phone prior not to do it. "We don't know who you are. We don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, we can tell you we don't have money. But what we do have are a very particular set of skills, skills we have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make us a nightmare for people like you. If you let our Direct go now, that'll be the end of it. We will not look for you, we will not pursue you. But if you don't, we will look for you, we will find you, and we will kill you."

This I believe was the Wii U's most successful week ever in the UK Top 40 in terms of numbers of games in the charts. 4 games. Will we ever see the likes again? I don't believe so.
-
I post the UK charts every week and prior to Mario Party 10 coming out I lost track of how many weeks the Wii U went without a game in the Top 40. It was definitely 5 weeks, maybe 6 weeks. And it's not just the Wii U, on the whole, the 3DS hasn't been great either.
-
And you call yourself a Nintendo fan? Where have you been? For shame. Anyway you're in for a treat because you're only about to play the greatest game ever made.

The Wii U sold 9.2 million units as of 31st December 2014. Those figures came directly from Nintendo issued in their last quarterly results in January. http://www.polygon.com/2015/1/28/7928919/nintendo-wii-u-sold-total-2012-fiscal-results Unless something crawls out of the woodwork at E3 or there's a price drop in time for Christmas I don't see any game this year that will boost Wii U sales in the same way that Smash and MK8 helped last year. It'll be a long time before the Wii U reaches 15 million units sold.

Sorry, I didn't see your edit. All I seen earlier was I don't know if I'd call him an idiot. He says as much positive as negative. You mightn't like it but a lot of it is the truth. I'd argue that statement. No way is the Wii U going to be around in 3 years. It likely won't be around in half that time.

It's not a completely biased article against Nintendo. Immediately following the "barren" statement, it's rebuffed by Daniel Krupa saying there's Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Maker and Splatoon. It's got 2 people giving their opinion from each side of the divide. Guy does say it was the right decision to delay the game and applauds Nintendo for taking risks.
-
People were saying the Wii U was dead long before the NX announcement. As the BBC's articles title suggests it's just another nail in the coffin.
-
Depends what you're into. I think it's barren. Only Xenoblade Chronicles X is of interest so far for me. Every month "or so"? I've been over this. No real 3rd party support and certainly no major games coming from them. Xbox1 is a year younger than Wii U. Nintendo have left themselves open rightly or wrongly to this kind of speculation by being so ambiguous. I believe the NX is a new console.
-
Apart from which makes it sound like Nintendo are going mobile only there's nothing wrong with it? The original BBC article is better to read. The mynintendonews article only selected certain quotes and doesn't give the counter argument from IGN's games editor Daniel Krupa.

Finally we have an in-game look at this after it was first leaked by Amazon almost two months ago. And Nordic still won't announce it. It's developed by Unit 4 Games which seem to be in the same location as Keen Games who made the original as Neon Games, and Unit 4 has one of the founders. Features: - High-resolution textures - new, more detailed character models, modern rendering techniques and crystal-clear surround sound - Much higher levels of detail to the environments, even when seen close up - A new user interface making the game simpler to use - Cut scenes improved - now in HD! - Achievements have been added - Leaderboard - compare your score with your friends' and compete against the best in the world - 60 Frames per seconds for high speed smooth action - 25 different levels with over 15 enemy types and epic boss battles - 3 different primary weapons (sword/hammer/claws) with distinct combat styles - Various mini-games such as wild boar racing, dragon flying and wolf riding It's due for release on May 29th in Europe and NA. It's not the greatest looking game but it is a 3rd party release which is a rarity and only costs €30. It's currently €25(£18.85) on Amazon.

They're really good and if you're a fan of the show then they're essential.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Wii replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
A brilliant example of why the game is so bad. It just typifies the low standards throughout the game. Not only is the music uninspired, the animation awful but do people remember "playing" the harp as well? It was definitely the worst instrument to play in any Zelda game, all it was was waggle left and waggle right. No skill whatsoever was needed. -
That's a good idea and you could do that locally as a 2 player game. I hope gameplay is varied and not just all in the arwing and that the rumour of Platinum working on this game is true. The little cameo they did in Bayonetta 2 was excellent.
-
True. This game must have new ideas surely especially after what Miyamoto has said in the past regarding other franchises. Otherwise he'll look fairly hypocritical. I don't know if a cockpit view is anything special but we'll have to wait and see what difference it makes. If it does have a cockpit view doesn't that rule out it being 2 or more players local multiplayer?
