Monolith Soft are said to be working on a lot of Nintendo titles. If they are working on Zelda, I for one won't complain.

I refuse to buy a HDD but eventually I'll be forced to. I'm trying to sell my download code from MK8 and buy a retail version instead. Why? Nintendo done f###ed up again and released a pitiful HD, that's the why. Wii was a disgrace too, 512 MB. Pffftt! I'm forced to scavenge because they're stingebags. Wii U didn't cost me €370, you can throw another €80 at least on top of that when my fridge is full. /rant.

It pains me to see Skyward Sword.........exist!

Wind Waker HD has done well on the Wii U. It's just short of the million mark but will definitely get there soon. Just goes to show that there's an appetite for more HD remakes.

The Wii U pro controller layout is right. The thumb position matches that of the nunchuk. Imagine this, hold the pro controller in your left hand, now place your thumb ver the d pad. Does that feel right? Imagine the nunchuk had the same stick position. It would feel wrong. It's the same on the other side of the controller. Also for the buttons, where they're located, it's easier for your thumb to make different multiple button combinations. The pro controller is fine, it's just lack analogue triggers. I kind of thought at first it was a bit cheap but it's not. It's just the lightness of it makes you think it must be flimsy. Nintendo are the masters of making robust hardware. @Sheikah You'll find Nintendo have been in this game longer and have much more experience. Are these the same companies that have been copying Nintendo's ideas for years?

Looking at the map in Mario Kart 8 on the gamepad is far from ideal.

It's not their fault that they're being made jump through so many hoops by PEGI.

I've got great ideas for the gamepad and it didn't take me 2 years. I think Nintendo are being Nintendo and don't want to risk investing heavily in a gamepad idea that might flop.

I agree. They're very enjoyable. I had hated IGN for a long time during the Wii days but these are good. They don't sugar coat things and call things as they are. If they didn't I wouldn't respect them. As far as I can tell they always have Jose, Peer and Brian with then some other IGN member sitting in each week. This time being Colin.

The cynic inside says some of this was a sympathy vote because of his health. Playing MK8 at the moment and my gripes of battle mode prior to launch have been confirmed. It's crap. I said this game wasn't ready but no way was it seeing another delay. It was coming out prior to E3 and the AGM one way or another. If it didn't Iwata would have signed his own death warrant.

But it is possible to create great gameplay opportunities with the gamepad. It's just what they showed at E3 were and looked like $h1t. Awful efforts that should be flushed down the toilet never to be seen again. This is what Miyamoto does with his time now? Sad.

Mighty No. 9 Work in Progress Gameplay Footage Ver 1.5

It's worse than last week. There's only 1 Wii U and 1 3DS title in the top 40. That's a whopping 5% of the chart. Bayonetta 2 will be out I'd imagine a good while before Smash Bros. arrives. They should really get behind that and have a big marketing campaign.
