That's exactly why I just purchase each game separately on the credit card now. I never top up my account anymore. Even though I'm buying regularly now it could come to the point where I don't buy anything for ages. I'm not having the Wii situation all over again. Even though it's packed away, there's something like 500 maybe more points still there sitting idle. There was even more than that but I bought a game at the end just to try and use some of them up. It's not much individually but add all the millions of Wii consoles in the same situation and Nintendo have a gold mine of money for nothing.

Bayonetta 2 - "I'm on my way" (Wii U) Has anybody seen any ads on TV for this game yet? I haven't seen a single one and nobody can say they're on Nickelodeon/Disney for once. Nintendo better advertise this. If they don't advertise, it fails. Also, they should have a blitzkrieg at the end of the ads of all the brilliant reviews it got. Create some hype like the competition do.

Wii U Virtual Console Namco Museum (Namco, GBA VC, €5.99/£5.39) — A Game Boy Advance title delivers 5 retro arcade games with their original visuals — Ms. Pac-Man, Galaxian, Galaga, Pole Position and Dig Dug. That now is something I might go for. I've bought a couple of Jakks Pacific Namco Arcade 2 Plug & Play TV Games over the years. They knacker out very quickly. I only buy them because of Ms. Pac-man, I love it. Me and the ex played it for ages. It's the only real game she liked and was addicted to it. The joystick made it easier for her as well. It's far better than the original Pac-man. In this one you'll be able to cheat like hell with a restore point.

There's time enough yet for them to do something separately for that.

Shock! Horror! Well there's the biggest non surprise. About bloody time too, so that's where we'll see the trailers for Game & Watch and Bowser Jr. Bring it on.

Pic Of The Day is late today considering the last 2 Mondays have been up before 6.30 a.m. I think it could be a character reveal, Game & Watch, then Bowser Jr. and then I think it's Jigglypuff going by they're unlocked in the 3DS game. Translation from Famitsu on how Sakurai chooses the Pic Of The Day: 10 days in advance and yet the time of their release daily is haphazard. It's taking too long. *leaves room*

Assassin'S Creed Black Flag Skull Edition Wii U from Tesco Direct is £20. They don't deliver to Ireland. No surprise.

Not seen it, listening to the QPR/Liverpool game on in the background. It sounded mental at the end. 4 goals in the last 10 minutes if even. Liverpool got lucky, 2 own goals and the winner 5 minutes into injury time.

I might try later in the day when people from the U.S. are up.

I've tried playing Raid Mode online yesterday and today. Finding anyone is next to impossible. It's a pity because it's really good. That's what happens I guess when nobody bought it and I'm late to the party. Edit: Scratch that. It is impossible!

I know you didn't mean all. I just used your reference to ITV as an excuse to mention Golden Balls and how bad the computer game is.

It's too late, I paid for it a month or two ago. Didn't get hit with import taxes last time but then they lied about its value. I won't be buying any new releases off them again. Edit: I thought with it being a .ie domain it would ship from Ireland or UK possibly but Hong Kong? Madness! Do they ship games from Europe to Hong Kong and then back again to Europe? Or are they manufactured over there because on the back of the boxes it says "Assembled in Germany"?

The voting for split or steal at the end of the show is flawed, I mean in real life not just the computer game. If you're playing this game you should always vote "steal". Think about it. Golden Balls Wii Gameplay Watch it if you dare. Just know you'll never get those 11 minutes back.

Hands-on with New Nintendo 3DS (IGN)

It could be a while before I receive it. I ordered the double pack from cdwow.ie and they're shipping from Hong Kong. Didn't know they did that. Last game took 2 weeks to arrive. Fingers crossed it won't be anything like that. I e-mailed them and they say it's a'pre-relese' offer and will only ship it out on release day.

I thought so too but then Bandai Namco are involved. They may just be publishing it physically. I don't know either what the deal is.

I never transferred over my Wii file. I'm kind of tempted as my Wii is packed away and not needed anymore really. I've several VC games on there not to mention a few hundred VC points going to waste. That's why I just pay for each individual game on the eShop instead of topping up by €20 or whatever. Which brings me to my point. What happens to this money that's sitting in peoples accounts? Are Nintendo acting like a bank and earning interest on it until it's used?

The cable is too skinny. It's like headphone thickness. It needs to be much more durable and thicker than that. When you consider a Gamecube controller lead, Wii Pro controller or even the charging cable of the Wii U pro controller, all are at least x3 thicker. It wasn't good product design. Without it you're screwed and looking online it's bloody expensive to replace. I have it plugged in all the time because the battery isn't great.

A region lock between Europe and Australia/New Zealand will never happen.
