That is a topic I've been meaning to bring up. I ordered an official LAN adapter and it arrived last Friday. Nintendo and their talk about Smash online stability finally made me buy one. I'd no problems setting it up once I copped on. I don't read instructions for anything. I've noticed no difference whatsoever. The browser is definitely no different, it could be my imagination but I think playing games online is slightly quicker. I've no evidence to confirm this, it's purely circumstantial. What have other people made of it? Bizarrely, I changed back to wifi today as it was more reliable. Might be an issue with the combination of the LAN adapter in combination with the powerline adapter. I was going to resurrect an 8 year old thread but this comment and discussion is timely.

Here's an image of the map in game on the gamepad. There's a few more here but the rest are old. They're official screenshots. Whatever, they're still old. http://mynintendonews.com/2014/11/18/heres-watch-dogs-first-official-screenshots-for-wii-u/ It's a bit strange that these are the only images they've released so far.

If it's from Twilight Princess I'd guess Magic Armour Link but the description suggests otherwise.

This is very, very, very remote but you never know. I'm probably clutching at straws here. It is Team Ninja and it was first shown back in 2005 and originally intended for PS3. The game I'm talking about is Ni-oh. Maybe Nintendo have rescued it like they did with Bayonetta 2 and Devils Third. The article is filed under PS3 but something tells me it might come to the Wii U. http://www.siliconera.com/2014/11/17/ni-oh-starting-come-together-says-team-ninja/

[TWEET]534332771993681921[/TWEET] They clearly didn't have the balls to follow through with it.

I expect it to be infinitely better than Brawl was. Brawl released before MK Wii and I'd say they learned lessons from that. Also, look at MK 8, it's fairly good. I know sometimes there's lag but on the whole it's a thoroughly enjoyable experience. And they can patch now which they couldn't do last time round.

Thank you for that. It gave me a good laugh. Thin round slice of turd. Hilarious.

General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion
Wii replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I don't know but it placed number 3 on the Wii U specific UK software sales chart. I'd guess not a lot. Wii U Mario Kart 8 – Nintendo New Super Mario Bros. U – Nintendo Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham – Traveller’s Tales Nintendo Land – Nintendo Disney Infinity 2.0 – Avalanche Software New Super Luigi U – Nintendo Hyrule Warriors – Omega Force Bayonetta 2 – Platinum Games Skylanders Trap Team – Beenox Just Dance 2015 – Ubisoft (France) -
That just makes it even worse. Stellar week for Wii U with 2 AAA releases, Watch Dogs and Sonic Boom. We are spoilt.

Watch Dogs isn't even out yet and they've DLC coming. At this late stage all of that should be on disc and at a budget price.

Happy Birthday Mr. Miyamoto who is 62 years young today! Oh dear God! I've taken a leaf out of the book of @Ike with the size of that image. May he bring us many more years of happy gaming memories.

The downloading was a pain. I didn't time it but I know it was at least half an hour from start to finish. For the next pack they should do the pre loading thng that they're starting with Smash Bros. Re the tracks, they're all good. I've gone from my initial impressions of Ice Ice Outpost being muck to quite liking it now. A few of those shortcuts are very difficult to pull off and in a frantic race I don't think they're worth the risk. I only use the easiest shortcut. I'd say Dragon Driftway is my least favourite now. I think the music is wonderful though. Rainbow Road has to be wider to accommodate 12 players and it does narrow at certain points. I really like it and I HATE Rainbow Roads generally. The colours are a treat for the eyes. That shortcut over the Master Sword in Hyrule Circuit is pure genius. I'd like more of that in the next pack. Missing hitting a crystal hoping that someone behind you will hit it, taking the gamble, go for it and either splat or success. I think it's a brilliant DLC pack and I can't wait for the next one. There's so many nice little touches everywhere from the Shy Guys mining to the beat of the music, the iceberg breaking off at the start of Ice Ice Outpost, the music at the end of Mute City or the the rupees and the chime in Hyrule Circuit. And one time I could have sworn I saw Yoshi's image in the clouds on Yoshis Circuit as I was blazing around. Never seen it since and the clouds are static but I couldn't find it again. Very strange.

Ah here, it's no wonder the site crashes from time to time and I've just made things worse by quoting them. What size are those monstrous photos?

Obviously not. Just this one. The more exclusives the better but thy need to be quality.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch
Wii replied to darkjak's topic in Nintendo Gaming
If only Sony and Microsoft could catch up on Nintendo. They clearly don't know what they're doing and spending money on advertising is a thing of the past. The competition have so much to learn. Yes the Treehouse stuff was great and I expect it'll be copied next year but it's not a case of either/i there. We can have both. -
Fair play to you. :awesome:

The Wii U finally has another third party exclusive and it's certainly that, a Turd. One of the last third party games and it's a disgraceful sign off. http://ie.ign.com/articles/2014/11/14/sonic-boom-the-rise-of-lyric-review 43% http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/sonic-boom-rise-of-lyric-review/1900-6415956/ 20% Thanks for nothing SEGA. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
