Exactly. The standard is ridiculously high and I think reviewers (e.g. Gamespot) tend to forget this. I think it's the most FUN Zelda ever personally. It's not as groundbreaking as Ocarina of Time was, not as magical as Majora's Mask and not as unique as Wind Waker but i've definately enjoyed it the most in terms of the action.

At this rate I won't be buying a new game till after the summer I hope Metroid is out before the summer, and I want Fire Emblem next year.

meh meh meh meh MEH. I don't think that line up is all that impressive really. For me at least I can't see me buying one of those games, as i'm possibly going to skip WarioWare for now. Metroid Prime 3 really should be released before the summer. Getting Mario Party 8 earlier than expected is good news and all but then its hardly a whole new franchise making outstanding use of the wiimote to demonstrate its capabilities is it?

I'm currently in the Lakebed temple and enjoying it quite a lot, definately my favourite water temple from any Zelda so far.

Snow Patrol - Eyes Open is without a doubt my favourite of the year. I love so many of the songs on the album, and yet the music is so varied. And although they didn't come out this year, Dabookerman got me into j-rock group l'arc en ciel and now they're possibly my favourite group full stop. The two albums I have (off the internet) are Awake and Smile

Just wrapped up all my presents i've bought so far, and realised I haven't really bought much at all. I was planning on just getting one thing for my Grandpa but now I feel I need to get one more thing for each person. Anyone seen Black Christmas yet? Let me know what it's like anyone that does because i like going to see horrors at the cinema with some friends, especially this time of year. I'm going to see Happy Feet on Thursday...not expecting much but hey it's christmassy. 2 lessons left till the christmas holidays (Got a shitload of work to do over it though )

Meh to all you turn based haters. I like both turn-based(e.g. Skies) and real-time (e.g. ToS) if they're done well. There are many pros of turn-based, the battles are more strategic, and you can use the whole group.

They weren't moaning about the game so much, but rather how the PSP lets it down control wise and it would be more suited to the PS2.

Just saw the final episode (for now until February on Sky One) and am once again both excited and angry over the wait for the next episode.
