I've played with Randoms. I've seen a lot worse. You definitely made up for it in other ways. Almost dropped the 3DS in laughter when you chucked a pot at the boss! And I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes to bring stuff to the warp. I was worried that this game wouldn't be as hilarious as Four Swords, it totally is!

You best do it, he hasn't added me yet, so he wouldn't be able to join me.
-
Well, I'm still waiting for @dazzybee to add me on his Friends List. I see H-O-T is on though.
-
5pm is A-OK for me! Seeing as he initiated it, Dazzybee should be the leader for this.
-
I'm available all day today. You need to add my friend code though. I've already added yours.
-
DCubed and I will be. So you're probably better off playing with randoms. DCubed gets very hole orientated when I'm playing.

I have never needed an amiiboo more!

Single player seems to be a recurring complaint. Well, if you're gonna take a game designed around co-op and harp on about the single player experience. I can't take your review seriously. On the plus side, Nintendo are making great little posts about Zelda's dress. The answer is Link, by the way. There's no argument.

Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water (30th Oct)
Glen-i replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I thought Fire Emblem Amie was completely optional... So he could just not do that. Because I sincerely hope it is, petting Pokemon is one thing, but in Fire Emblem, it would just feel sinister and creepy. -
Oh, then that's alright. Would hate to think you were playing through it solo just because you got it early. (I'm getting it downloaded, try not to finish the game before then. Then again, it is you. You finish games hilariously quick. So I won't hold my breath.)

Was about to ask the same thing myself.

I'm sure everyone here knows of it. When I played it almost 2 years ago, I just blasted through it because I may have borrowed it from DCubed. View post in Miiverse But it's now only 16 quid, so I thought now would be a good time to 100% it. While I really like the item rental system this game uses, it does mean that the majority of the dungeons are around the same difficulty. Which can't be helped really. Despite that, it's a marvelous game. Very meaty and the dungeons are some of the best I've seen in a top-down Zelda. And I'm not gonna lie, the twist at the end is genuinely surprising.

Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water (30th Oct)
Glen-i replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I completely agree. It just feels incredibly awkward for girls under 20 running about in a setting like this wearing bikini tops. It's blatant fanservice, and just comes across as poor taste. The Zero Suit suits the setting a lot more than any bikini would. Anyway, I hope this game does well. I don't like survival horror, but any game that uses the Gamepad in a meaningful way has my support. -
Wait, really? Huh... Fine, but I bet you can't move Link while aiming! Makes you feel like a total boss during the Hidden Village. I love plowing through that section with nothing but a Bow. (No Hawkeye, because that's for non-pointing chumps!) EDIT: Also, I can equip 4 items at once!
-
Yeah, the chances of this game coming to console are almost zero. It's got an... interesting way of working that wouldn't be allowed on a console. I won't say more because it ruins a lot about it. But I wouldn't get your hopes up.

You know, Wolf Link was something that I think got better as the game progressed. Once you got past the annoying tears of light sections. Wolf Link was used in some pretty cool ways. Fighting ghostly enemies and that face-off with Beast Ganon, stuff like that. Personally, I could never play the Gamecube version after having the superior aiming of the Wii version. I have the same problem with Resident Evil 4. Pointing will always beat Stick aiming. If TP HD does happen and it doesn't support the Wii remote pointing. I would just not buy it. You can state how Link's not lefty in it or how it's just mirrored version of the GC game. But I can hit any enemy with the bow from any distance without missing! I have widescreen support! And more importantly... I can cut grass while running!

What are you gonna do about it? So I played through 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Just like everyone else here. Some quick thoughts on the game. I like Sonic 2 better than Sonic 1 but I prefer Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Sonic 2 really punishes you for going too fast, which kinda dampens the fun. All the Sonic Mega Drive games suffer from this, but Sonic 2 is the worst offender. Eff Wind Fortress Zone. The Special Stages are still loads of fun, even though I never could ace the last one. The Boss music is still insanely catchy. Most of the music is pretty damn good though. (Except for a few oddities) The game does start to get a bit lamer at Hill Top Zone, but gets better at Metropolis. Well, until Wind Fortress Zone. Eff Wind Fortress Zone. Multiplayer is still loads of fun. EFF WIND FORTRESS ZONE! Anyway, M2 added a few new features other than the fantastic 3D. (Special stages have never looked so good!) You don't have to enter a cheat code to access the Stage Select if you want. It's an option on the Main Menu now. Sure, you could use it to cheat, but I wouldn't do that. Unless I was just messing around. Or if I got a Game Over, because screw going back to the beginning of the game. (Wind Fortress came very close to making me do that. Sonic 1's Labyrinth Zone is more fun than this atrocity! And that's terrible!) There's also a mode called "Ring Keeper Mode" that gives you 10 rings at the start and makes you only lose half of what you're carrying when you get hit. I can understand why this was put in, but it does make the majority of the game a cakewalk. I can imagine the final boss being a lot more manageable because you actually have rings! And once you finish the game, you get a neat little mode called "Super Sonic Mode" which gives you 50 rings at the start of each level and acts like you've gotten all the Chaos Emeralds. Letting you effectively play through the entire game as Super Sonic. Although all that speed might end up killing you more than the enemies do. Naturally, the first thing I had to do was see if I could catch Robotnik during the final boss section... You know, the Poe side quest in Twilight Princess is the only thing in official Zelda game history that I just flat out didn't bother with. (Barring A Link Between Worlds, because I'm playing that properly now, 16 QUID!) And I got every figurine in the original Wind Waker! That's the one thing I would want streamlined the most.
-
Oh? More Lightgun games? @Dcubed's gonna like that.
-
Changed my mind about trying the online. Seeing as you can't join friends in the demo, I think I just want to go in as blindly as possible. It'll be more fun annoying you demo players with my lack of knowledge about dungeons.
-
OH! This is big! I can't help it! I'm getting hyped now!

I'm gonna go ahead and post one of the many, many, amazing pieces of music from Undertale. An absolutely astonishing game on Steam that you should all play right now. I mean it, don't even look it up on Youtube, this game is best played with no prior knowledge. Just play it. Audio

Gee, it sure is boring around here. Couldn't resist, you said "Gee" just like I hoped you would. So, are you absolutely adamant about playing it solo? Because I think you'd like the game a lot more if you played with some N-Europe peeps at least.
-
I don't know. Link is quite the looker... Yeah, Zelda isn't going to be a Witcher style game. Because then it really wouldn't be Zelda anymore. If Nintendo had to make that kind of game, I would want them to use this guy as the protaganist. Oh my daze! Just imagine that massive kind of game with THOSE CHARACTER DESIGNS AND THAT ARTSTYLE! That would be my dream game! The chances are so slim though. Dillon with Zelda's budget could be really amazing but they're letting it go to waste... Which Twilight Princess already did. And we're back to the topic! (Never played Witcher, assuming it's similar to the scents Wolf Link follows, this might have fallen flat on it's face)

Gee, maybe that's because it's designed as a multiplayer experience first and foremost? Well, luckily. DCubed, his sister and I have played it. And judging from the one level available...(bit of a shame, that) Everyone has to pull their weight. It's completely impossible for one person to do most of the work, the level was designed so that this can't happen. And with only the icons for communication, you're gonna have to figure stuff out mostly for yourself. You don't keep any secondary weapons you get. All you keep is a Sword and your costumes. The costume only gives you one benefit. And they can't be swapped mid-level. So no-one is going to have a massive advantage. Anyway, thanks to typical Four Swords spirit in our play sessions. There was many hole shenanigans. Mostly between DCubed and I. And we noticed that when you lose your last heart, the camera on all three 3DS's focuses on who lost that heart. You can still use the icon communications when this happens! So fair warning, if you play with DCubed and I, and you lose that last heart, expect to recieve two of the most sarcastic "thumbs up" you will ever see in games. Seriously, it took us 2 deaths to start doing that. And it's way too funny to not stick! Well, I'll be around on the 17th. You might have to add my Friend Code in advance. Tell me if you do. (Psssst. It's below my profile pic. That Kecleon one, you might have seen it before)
