Pokemon GO is shallow. And it still makes me physically ill thinking about it. And all the success in the world isn't going to change that. Looking at that GIF in the first post, is Mario automatically hurdling up small slopes?

Nope, but it still upsets me. I mean, if it does have no in-app purchases, then good for them. Redeemed a little bit. Doesn't help much. But it staggers me how such shallow games do so well. Anyway, best prepare myself for the BBC to inevitably mispronounce Mario just to annoy me.

Official site has updated, naturally. Here's some descriptions. It's man-made, Porygon and Mewtwo has a new best friend. Intrestingly enough, UB-01 is not on the new Pokemon page. It has it's own page. under "Ultra Beasts" (Told ya, @Serebii) There's a distinct possibility that these "Ultra Beasts" aren't Pokemon. Just a guess, but these might serve as some kind of Boss in the game to fight. It might even mean you can't catch them. Japanese Trailer has different footage, if you're interested. Man, that framerate just takes a nosedive during the Pokemon Snap section! Not a good sign.

BAM! So it seems that Sun and Moon takes place 12 hours apart. Weird feature there. From what I can gather, if you're playing Moon during the afternoon, it'll be past midnight in the game. Certain events also differ between the two games. With Moon replacing that beefed up Gumshoos. New Pokemon include "Type: Null" Yes, that's it's name. It's normal type and has the Battle Armour ability. "Jangmo-o" is Dragon type and can have Bulletproof or Soundproof. Alolan Raticate was shown and it's Dark/Normal, just like Rattata. It can have Gluttony or Hustle and looks like it's stuffed too much food into it's mouth. "UB-01" is another new Pokemon, all we know about it is that it's known as an "Ultra Beast" (@Serebii, your site claimed that Type: Null and Jangmo-o are Ultra Beasts too, but I'm not sure that's the case, as the trailer only mentioned Ultra Beasts before UB-01. It doesn't give the impression that Type:Null and Jangmo-o are the same) There's a feature that let's you take pictures of Pokemon and let's other players look at your snaps and rate them with a thumbs-up and a comment. Yes, it's a feature that looks suspiciously like Pokemon Snap! There's a group introduced called the Aether Foundation which seems to be working to stop Team Skull and protect the Pokemon they're hurting. It's run by some chick named Lusamine. I don't trust them one bit, I just know there's something iffy about them. Team Skull also have some enforcer bloke called Gladion. Zygarde's cores are found throughout the game and stored in something called the Zygarde Cube, which looks nothing like a cube. I imagine this is how Zygarde builds up it's formes.

@kav82 has it right on the money. Those celebrity adverts, while incredibly cringe worthy to us lot, got Johnny public aware of it. Get whatever random people won the latest X Factor, get them playing NX at home and on the go, show some Mario, Pokemon (Especially Pokemon, might as well milk GO for what it's worth, much as I want to shoot myself for saying that), and some celebrity Miis in games and make sure you get those adverts playing on whatever lame show ITV has showing on Saturday night.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't he use SnS or Dual Blades. The whole point of the Sword & Shield is the element you use. Without choosing the right element, I vastly reduce the amount of damage I end up doing. Same with Dual Blades. DCubed just ends up doing real life stuff after every quest.
