I get the distinct feeling @RedShell will turn up.

Sure thing! I'm up for that.

Mega Drive Mini (19th September 2019)

That's the... Second one right, the one that happens right before Dragon's Trap? Either way, that game has pushed me over from "Maybe" to "Do want" I'll have to ask @Dcubed to order one for me. -

Sonic Spinball there, ruining a perfectly good line-up. -
OK, so I've got the team choices in. Quite frankly, I'm very disappointed in all of you. What have you all got against dead turtles? That's workplace discrimination and it gives me an opportunity to shake things up a bit. Seeing as @BowserBasher probably won't make it, I'll likely turn on CPU's. So here are the teams. Team Koopa @Dcubed @viceview51 @RedShell @martinist @S.C.G Team Dry Bones @Glen-i Yep, I hope you all feel good about yourself as you pick on the different guy. Your average score will determine your Team Scores. So don't think you can coast it. If @BowserBasher does make it, then he'll choose one person to move over to his team. EDIT: Actually if BowserBasher does make it, we'll move @martinist over. He wasn't exactly helpful when he told me what team he was on. Thanks for nothing.

Another week, another Smash session. Tonight is the time for Stock Matches. 9:30.

Gotcha, I'll be host then. Next League Night: Tonight 8pm Room 1: @Glen-i is host @Glen-i (Team Chosen) @BowserBasher (But only if he gets dumped) @viceview51 (Team Chosen) @martinist (Team Chosen) @RedShell (Team Chosen) @Dcubed (Team Leader) I'm gonna assume @S.C.G will be declaring himself in shortly, so I'm gonna wait for him to tell me what team he's on before revealing the teams.

Did the direct mention whether a level someone makes can be set so that Co-op can't be played on it? Don't get me wrong, I love Co-op, but I'm gonna have to take that kind of thing into account if you can't stop people playing co-op on your levels.

As opposed to me, where most of my games still are Pokémon. I have this little carry case for holding DS/3DS games, and half of them are Pokémon titles. -
If it was any other country, sure. But the handheld console is king in Japan. And far as consoles go, Switch has no competition from handhelds. And there were quite a few big sellers. Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey, Smash, Zelda.

This must be that Pokeland game I touched upon wayyyy back in November. Which means that Pokémon Rumble going mobile is super old news. Of course, if @Hero-of-Time actually read my posts, he would have already known that. -
Pretty sure it's from the 3DS eShop menu. Oh right, yeah. 3DS eShop is one of my favourite games as well.

Sorry, not available on Tuesdays. Have fun.

I don't think it's from anything.

For me, it's any of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games. Sometimes I just want a story that gets a bit bleak before it gets better. Any good plot should have that, but I want one where one of the main characters can have this dopey face. Totodile never fails to cheer me up. The hyper little bugger.

I will make sure to point out when a game like this can be voted for once we get to the console in question. If people choose other games over that, then that just means that TP doesn't quite match up to other GameCube games. -
The second video from Thursdays Smash session. This one features matches after @RedShell was done and left @Ugh first aid, @BowserBasher and me to punch each other. Some of the moments featured in @BowserBasher's videos above. I was halfway through making this when you posted it. There's two matches I didn't have room for, so I guess I'll have to shove those into the inevitable next video I make next week. Baseball!

Oh yeah, I absolutely think it's the best version of Wii Sports. But if I allowed that, it would mean I'd have to allow all sorts of similar remasters. -

Wii Sports Club is essentially a HD remaster of Wii Sports with new play controls (Kinda like how Metroid Prime Trilogy changes the controls of the GameCube games). None of the sports are actually new to the Wii Sports series, so it's banned due to the remake rule. -

Electroplankton is as much of a game as any music creation application. Simply put, the game has absolutely no sort of goal for the player to reach. Endless Ocean, on the other hand, has one brief moment where the player is asked to help find an animal that an NPC's father was seeking before he vanished. Finding it is some kind of progress and is rewarded with some backstory of said character's father. A lot of applications can provide entertainment, but unless it has some sort of win state, I'm excluding it from these top tens. A line has to be determined somewhere. No disrespect to Electroplankton, but I do class it as the same sort of entertainment product as Flipnote Studio and such. Looking into Wii Fit U, I think I got that mixed up with Wii Fit Plus. A substantial amount of Wii Fit Plus is exactly the same as Wii Fit. Wii Fit U reuses content, but has quite a bit of new content as well. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll just quickly edit my post. -
That's pocket change compared to getting a 4-player Crystal Chronicles game going.

Well, I can only apologise then. The main reason for these restrictions is to stop the same game getting into multiple top tens. If I didn't have them, Ocarina of Time would be eligible for 5 different consoles. In doing this, I want to try and keep everyone on the same page when it comes to nominating these games that had future rereleases. Assuming I want to put in my support for Ocarina of Time, I personally think the 3DS version is the best one, but there are bound to be people who prefer the N64 version, so that vote would have been split. Of course, it's never going to be perfect. Gaming only gets more complicated as we get closer to the present. But I will take you up on your idea of stating future restrictions so people can plan ahead. That took forever, don't you dare ask questions. (You can ask questions if you really have to) -

Sorry, @S.C.G I can't accept Dragon Warrior III. Seeing as it's a remake of the NES title. -

Well, no-one even attempted to nominate it in the Game Boy section. So I doubt it would have made that much of a difference. -

OK guys, honest mistake, I forgot that Wario Land II was a Game Boy game originally. I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask those who nominated Wario Land II (Me and @Dcubed) to replace that with something else. This is the one thing I was going to point out in the GBA nominations, but I guess I'll start now. Games that were released at pretty much the same time on two different consoles will only be counted for the console that it was originally designed for. Examples include "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team/Blue Rescue Team" "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" and "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" I've added that rule to the GBC post on the previous page. In all three of those examples, the game will be eligible for the earlier console only. PMD 1 is a GBA game, TP is a GC game and BotW is a WiiU game. I'm not budging on this, the later console versions may be better, but they are all effectively port jobs. I know TP is a weird example, but for the sake of fairness to all examples of this occurrence, it'll have to be like this. Anyway, I think we're all capable of judging the quality of these games, even if you never played the original version. A release of that game for the PS3 never happened, so no. That's not the same thing. I really hope you continue contributing to nominations and voting, @Ronnie. You say it's no big loss, but I disagree. Every vote is important. Every vote makes the results more conclusive. Also, I've seen some people throwing the possible Switch Top Ten around, so I'm gonna nip that in the bud right now. I won't be doing a Switch Top Ten. At least not in the near future, it's far too early to be declaring what the best games on that console are. It's still churning out games. Far too premature. When the Switch's life is up and we're all playing whatever the next console is, I'll happily revive this thread.
