  1. Just gonna leave this here. Time stamped for convenience.
  2. I think we've found the real monster, here.
  3. You weren't a member on these forums back when I made a nerdy thread looking back through all the Pokémon spin-off's, but at the end of it, I gave my opinion on Pokémon GO which I think pretty much applies to this press conference. I mentioned how any spin-offs that still go on will more than likely become a Free-to-play game. And lo and behold, that's what happened with Pokémon Rumble. The likes of Detective Pikachu on Switch and Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon are sadly the exception these days, not the norm. And let's face it, Detective Pikachu is only happening because it's capitalising on the movie not flopping. Because it certainly isn't attributed to the 3DS title's huge success.
  4. Yeah, I agree with this. If someone doesn't take the opportunity to deal some damage, you might as well just use a paralysis weapon due to the stun on that not being interrupted when someone hits the monster. I think hunts are more entertaining when each person fills a different role in a group. For example, @S.C.G's play style makes him the no-nonsense attacker who can use his full repertoire whenever he wants. @Ugh first aid on the other hand favours a more defensive play style with Valor until she fills that Valor Bar up and goes ham on monsters. Then there's me. Most of the time, I'm probably doing the least damage, but I do focus on healing support, which is always helpful. I'm probably the hardest to hit though, what with me Bayonetta-ing all over the place, which lets me also get a lot of jump attacks in to make mounts happen more often. And once I get that Chaos Oil going, I'm suddenly a stunning, staggering, critical dealing machine. @RedShell normally opts for the projectile role because piercing boomerangs are awesome! This also makes him ideal for inflicting status effects. He can be limited in healing options though, so my wide-range potions help to counteract that shortcoming. I could go on about other members I've played with, but you get the gist. It's what I love about Online hunts, there's so many different ways to play thanks to the hunter styles that adapting to each group layout can feel different whenever you join a new group. Menu - Chat - Auto-Shoutouts When you get to that screen, press Y to edit each one. Make them funny, make them cool, hell, you can make them even drier than the default option if you want. But just be different. It helps add personality to your hunts. Also, you can activate them for when you do Hunter Arts, which can be helpful for warning others to keep their distance and try not to accidently interrupt it.
  5. For all we know, that could mean it's a port with a different ending/extra chapter.
  6. @Ugh first aid sums it up perfectly by saying "Pokémon wants you to...
  7. Here's everything of note. Press Conference has heavily hinted at a Detective Pikachu game for the Switch. Not sure whether it's a port or a sequel. Pokémon Quest is getting an official release in China, making it the first official release for Pokémon done by a Chinese company. Will feature PVP and other social features. Pokémon Home is the new cloud-based service that aims to connect Pokémon Bank, Pokémon GO and the mainline Pokémon Switch games. Comes out in Early 2020. Pokémon Home is planned to allow trading with friends between the above applications. Some kind of enhancement to Pokémon GO to allow functionality with sleeping? Not sure yet. OK, no. It's a new mobile app called Pokémon Sleep. And this presentation is super hilarious. Comes out 2020. A new accessory to coincide with Pokémon Sleep called the Pokémon Go Plus + (Yes, it's really called that.) Has the usual GO functionality but also is compatible with Pokémon Sleep. A Snorlax event on Pokémon GO. According to @Ugh first aid, that's a big deal. DeNA's new mobile game is called Pokémon Masters. Artwork shows a lot of trainers from the mainline series. Releases at the end of 2019 on android and iOS. Brief footage of the game was shown. More details in June. Game features Z-Moves in some way. and uses a graphical style similar to the 3DS Pokémon games. If I was a betting man, my money would be on the trainers being part of a Gacha system. The Pokémon Shirt line is coming to America and Europe. Kinda what I expected, all in all.
  8. That's all well and good, but you need to edit your automatic shout-outs to anything else. Default shout-outs are booorrrrring!
  9. Me and @RedShell are still on
  10. What do you think I've been doing here?
  11. GameXPlain just confirmed it.
  12. Sooner or later, there has to be a breaking point. I know the gaming industry is a lot more tolerant of this, but I wonder where the line is.
  13. Isn't that more proof that Mario Odyssey is redundant? That video is nuts though!
  14. No! What's the bloody point?
  15. 2am tonight.
  16. Well, that's because I was 1 back when anyone cared.
  17. I can't be the only one seeing the irony of that article title, right? Also, there was a newsletter e-mail about games coming out in May that included Cadence of Hyrule. So it'd be more of a surprise if it didn't come out this week. Oh well, I'm looking forward to it anyway.
  18. Yeah, OK. That's a bit embarrassing for me. That's one of the most well-known and better executed ones.
  19. Well, I am. If you do end up jumping online.
  20. The Neset set is remarkable in it's versatility, combined with that silly looking lance you have, you have a whopping 15 slots to work with (more if you have some slots on your talisman) There are two things to keep in mind when deciding what skills to put on it. You need less skill points to activate a skill Skill points from your talisman are doubled That first point basically means you need 2 less points to activate a skill. So take Speed Sharpening. Normally, you need 10 points in Sharpener to activate it, but with that set, you only need 8. Keep that in mind when you use decorations. The second point is what elevates this set to greatness. Double talismans apply to everything on it, even any decorations put in the slots. So if you have any talismans with a +4 in skills, consider using it, because the +4 is doubled to +8 which then automatically gets the extra 2 skill points to bring it to +10. Even better if it has empty slots. With the right talisman, you can get some amazing setups. For example, I have Speed Sharpening, Wide-Range +2, Razor Sharp and Blightproof. Meanwhile, @Ugh first aid has opted for Sharpness +2, Speed Sharpening, Blightproof and Dragon Res + 20. It's well worth looking through your talismans, experimenting with what you can get using that double talisman boost. You can definitely do better than 2 skills, that's for sure.
  21. I'm only having a laugh myself.
  22. I feel like it's being insinuated that I'm boring.
  23. @RedShell, there's a spot open now.
  24. In a rare case, I actually am from 8-ish.
  25. I'm just gonna chime in and say that Pokémon always has little presence in E3. It's normally shown in the Treehouse section. This Direct changes very little.
