  1. @darksnowman, if you're free today, we can meet up on Animal Crossing, so I can start sending you the diner set stuff I have.
  2. OK, @drahkon, are you free today for some sports?
  3. I'm afraid @BowserBasher already called dibs on that.
  4. You sure you didn't buy a copy of Mario 3D World by accident?
  5. It's worth noting that when it comes to jumps, you don't need to be spot on with the actual jump. As long as it's good enough to get over enemy attacks, or to put yourself in the air to hit an enemy, you'll get an excellent for it. The arrow symbol is basically how you know there's a jump coming, but try to get more into the rhythm for when you should press it. I do agree with you about the crystal attacks though. Having jump on 'B' while the Crystal attack is on 'X' is a bit awkward. I hear that the PlayStation version actually has a better button layout in that regard, (Circle = Jump, Triangle = Crystal) which is a tad annoying. Wave of Darkness on Proud is totally kicking me around, so don't feel bad. I'm sure the full game will let you build your team up to last longer on the higher difficulties. It's what I like about Theatrthythm. Anyway, seeing as you normally have a kid to mess around with, have you tried the co-op yet? There's 2 extra songs there.
  6. I'm not sure where you're getting that impression, because the jumps are definitely timed to the beat. Jump attacks are always done to the rhythm of the song. You can see what I mean at the end of this post I did. (Ignore the sloppy opening) It's a bit visually cluttered at times, granted, but after a while I started to get an idea of when to jump. It's the old "Rhythm Heaven" addage that ignoring the visuals will keep you focused. Simply put, you jump 1 beat before you attack. Then again, maybe you're having issues with visual lag? If you find yourself constantly being too early or late, it might be worth going to the settings and fiddling with the BGM Timing option. (Wait, you went straight from Beginner to Proud Difficulty? That was... Brave.)
  7. Now that's sarcasm! Also, do you even remember me? I'm like 50% sarcastic.
  8. Fair, but I gotta take the chance when it arises.
  9. I get the feeling my sarcasm flew over people's heads this time. Ah, the joys of text.
  10. My point is that, even for me, that's super nerdy, and don't those guys have anything better to do!?
  11. I mean, I'm pretty nerdy and all, but guys, seriously. It's just a menu!
  12. The demo for this came out yesterday. It's basically the next Theatrhythm game (Done by indieszero, who did the other Theatrhythm games) and it's looking very promising. Includes a local co-op mode, online 2 player VS battles and an 8-player mode exclusively for the Switch version (Local Wireless only). Oh, and because it's Kingdom Hearts, you just know that there's going to be some kind of plot to tie it up with all the other games. Theatrhythm Curtain Call was one of the best games on the 3DS, so I'm very much looking forward to this. It comes out November 13th over here.
  13. Oh snap, did I accidentally turn them off? Oh man, I'm so sorry. You should have said something earlier!
  14. Boy, @RedShell, you just had to be awkward and choose almost every character left on the list! Steve is totes awkward and that definitely adds to the hilarity. @Jonnas mentioned that the block placement felt restrictive, and I can see why. Where you can place blocks has definitely been tweaked since Sakurai's presentation. I actually like him more than Min Min, both are characters I don't think I'll ever master, but Steve is a right laugh! The TNT lived up to my expectations. Hilarious move!
  15. OK, room's open, remember to stick with your chosen character and if you haven't chosen one. Well, try not to clash with someone who has.
  16. It's what me and @BowserBasher does, quicker than setting up a discord, because it recognises when you're in a game that allows voice chat.
  17. @viceview51 and @BowserBasher and person who I just saw boot up the game, gate's open. Come enjoy scenic Mount Kec with it's miraculous river that flows in 2 directions at the same time!
  18. OK, quick question for the Final Fantasy 12 players... No spoilers please, but... Does Vaan do anything meaningful in the plot? Because I've got the second Esper, and I can't see the point of him. You could probably replace him with one of those Bangaa species and he'd be infinitely more interesting just for being a lizard dude. The fact that the party consists of 5 people and a Playboy Bunny is a bit of a missed opportunity, I quite like the designs of the species this game introduces. Could've made the party more visually diverse.
  19. Gave him a quick go. (Don't want to get too familiar before Smashcraft night tonight) Holy crap, the diamond stuff has insane knockback! Manage to craft those tools and you're in a good position. Problem is, unless you're doing a 1 on 1 match, that's gonna be tough, especially on smaller stages. TNT is a great edge guarding tool, get one set up after knocking someone off stage and you pile some real pressure on your opponent. I'm looking forward to the inevitable accidents that come about from multiple Steves all messing with TNT. Don't let me down, guys! That stuff is comedy gold. If you have redstone and gold, you can press the B button while riding the minecart to get a quick speed and damage boost, that's how you wreak havoc with it. (Also lets you go up hills) Using it downhill also increases the speed and power as well, so you can catch people off-guard on some sloped stages. Also, 4 notches of one material on your bar is enough to craft tools with.
  20. So 7pm then, @BowserBasher, @viceview51
