I thought I was fairly comfortable at 16 miles. I think the gradual slow down and stopping to swig the lucozade did me.
I managed to run like an absolute melt for the last 200m. I've walked that distance quicker than I was moving, but I was determined to cross that line running.
She beat me!
I was on course for a sub 4 hour finish, I slowed at 16 miles to grab a lucozade and got cramp in both calves. At one point my foot was physically stuck. I ended up having to walk the last 10 miles finishing at 5:11:04.
Pleased to finish though. Think I might try and get in next years to beat that and do it properly.
Missing tomorrows match. First home league game I've missed since 2009. Running the marathon so I'll be too knackered for the match. I'd settle for a draw.
Problem is, I only have a Wii U. All my content is on Xbox 360 and if I were to buy a current gen machine it would be PS4. But I don't see myself investing in one.
Poor Stevie Me's birthday party is ruined.
The media hyped Liverpool last year, they bottled it. Done it again for the cup run this year, bottled it. Back in your box scousers.
Why? Szczesny made an equally shit mistake and no one seems to be mentioning it.
Remember the hammering he got after the League Cup Final? No one gives a toss if you aren't the underdog.
Arsenal built a new stadium and had to offload players to balance the books. Only 'best' players we sold were Fabregas and van Persie. The rest of 'em, overpriced waste men like Adebayor, Hleb and Nasri.
We've all seen handhelds (and Gamepads) hooked up to home consoles in the past. Who's to say having the same architecture in the handheld and home console will be a good thing.
Sounds to me like they'll be releasing another underpowered machine with a gimmick. Third in a row.
